  1. I was at last years preseason game vs. the Bills. Ford Field is a great place to see and watch a game. They offer tours during the week. With all the buzz surrounding the team this year (and the fans are buying into it) the place should be rocking. I was (obviously) there supporting the Bills and the Lions fans treated me great. Didn't care too much for their fight song though, kinda lame. Though NOTHING WILL EVER, EVER be better than "Shout!". There is a decent amount of parking around the stadium, not a great set up for tailgating. Eastern market is supposedly the place to tailgate. Many restaurants in the area (and Eastern Market) offer buses/shuttles over to the stadium. Those I have taken (mostly to hockey games) have been free. Around Route 75 and Woodward there is decent amount of surface lot parking that is close and safe. Will cost around $15-40. Hockeytown cafe or Cheli's Chili Bar (chris chelios's place) are right near stadium and are places to eat and drink if you have the time, but get in early. There random ramps throughout the city where you can park for free if you get validation at the casino or Hard Rock Cafe (though not as close). Hope this helps. Send me a message if you more specific info.
  2. I always liked the way Del Rio coached and how fired up he was on the sideline. I thought the Bills could have used a coach like that. Way more respect for him now that I heard this story. As for Allen Wilson...my thoughts will be with you. Leukemia can be beaten, so stay strong!
  3. These are probably the 2 highest profile (ie celebrity) athletes in Buffalo (probably can argue Ryan Miller). They are assets as team ambassadors and might be the key in getting pro-bowl type of players to come play for the Bills (when the team opens their wallets once the new salary rules are in affect) Hope they both have have big years! It is good to see some bonding too.
  4. Aaron Rodgers Peyton Manning Tom Brady Drew Brees Phillip Rivers Michael Vick Matt Ryan Ben Roethlisberger Matt Schaub Tony Romo Joe Flacco Matt Cassel Jay Cutler Sam Bradford Ryan Fitzpatrick Matt Hasselbeck Kyle Orton Donovan McNabb Josh Freeman Matthew Stafford Eli Manning Mark Sanchez Kevin Kolb David Garrard Jason Campbell Chad Henne Colt McCoy Alex Smith John Beck/Rex Grossman Tarvaris Jackson Andy Dalton Cameron Newton
  5. New helmet (and uniforms) are a HUGE upgrade. I still like the standing Buffalo better but I think they found a classic look that they can keep for at least a few decades.
  6. Speaking of Kyle...Does he still have that Pizzeria in Buffalo area? Is it any good?
  7. Isn't it a HOF bust?
  8. Major violation. Was this info released in paper?
  9. I totally agree, I thought he would benefit the offense tremendously. While not a star I thought he would have been a solid starter allowing the Bills to fill some other spots.
  10. According to ESPN, Goodell said the NFL will help fund part of the 1.1 billion dollar stadium and keep the franchise in Minnesota. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6559409 Do you think we can get a similar statement/commitment from Goodell to keep NY state's only NFL team in Buffalo please?
  11. I went over to the site, that is b.s. I think that is most likely due to the fact that the Bills are getting new jerseys. For what it's worth, the draft hat is on the front page. Beat me to it.
  12. Assuming we upgrade run D: @KC- Loss Oak- Win Pats- Loss @Cinci-Win Philly-Loss @NYG-Loss Wash-Win NYJ-Win @Dallas-Loss @Miami-Loss @NYJ -Loss Tenn-Win @SD-Loss Miami-Win Denver-Loss @NE-Win 7 and 9!
  13. I think on another thread he said he wl post more info when he gets. Until then we all wait.
  14. Billick may not be a genius but he is logical. Last i looked the bills running d was 32nd in the league. This is obviously the biggest need of the Bills. i can't see any justification taking anyone other than a player who has the potential to make an immediate impact on the running d. Unless Newton or Gabbert are willing to play on defense I think we should stay as far away from them as possible in the first round.
  15. Interesting to see Calvin Johnson actually lose money. I know he missed games but who would sign a contract with a clause that would pay you less.
  16. 7 PM on NFL network
  17. Agree, don't see Parrish getting cut, it is Possible that a WR on roster will be traded though.
  18. I can't wait to get back into the area so I can get my season tickets. Thanks for supporting the team.
  19. Glad to see Kyle get his props. It seems that for once the National media is giving more accolades and praise to a Buffalo Bill then the local media. He may have played on the worst run D, but was consistently making plays.
  20. I don't understand how a Bills fan can root for the Jets (or Pats and Fins). Where is the old school hatred for these teams? I'll be rooting for the Steelers, who will eventually lose to the Packers.
  21. I don't think the Bills will resign Whitner.
  22. My thoughts exactly!
  23. Joining in after Wild Card Games (Who I think will win): AFC: Patriots over Jets Ravens over Steelers Ravens over Patriots NFC: Bears over Seahawks Falcons over Packers Falcons over Bears SuperBowl: Ravens over Falcons Would like to see Packers beat Ravens in Super Bowl but I don't think the Pack will make it.
