  1. QUOTE (K-GunForever @ May 6 2010, 09:09 PM) I don't have a nickname to throw into the mix here but i did hear something hilarious down here in banjo-land: First we had the Killer(OJ), then we had the Thriller(Thurman), and now we have Spiller. Classic. QUOTE (Buffalos#1Fan @ May 6 2010, 09:12 PM) HAHAHAHAHAHA, dude this is brilliant!!! oh yes it did make me laugh
  2. i saw that also - can't wait to see the bills prove them wrong and the no-direction comments were clueless - we do finally have direction for the first time in too long a while
  3. our o-line was just fine last yeat before injuries killed us - it was our lack of quality depth that hurt us mostly - and you can thank the former fo and hc for that
  4. I have a can't miss idea for the Buffalo Bills. The Ralph has the Wall of Fame. One of the loudest staduims (at one time) and hardest places to play in the NFL has the fans (12th man) on the wall. So, why not put up another wall in the Bills' future, ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....alternate home in the Rogers Centre. I'm talking about the Wall of Shame. In a building where we've never won a game, where there is no cold weather to our advantage, nor crowd noise to help us, virtually no offense every single time we play there. What a perfect place to do this! Here is my list of inductees: 1. J.P. Losman - NO (NOT EVEN) 2. Trent Edwards - NO (BUT JURY IS OUT) 3. Dick Jauron - PERHAPS 4. Billy Jo Hobert - YES 5. Russ Brandon - NO 6. Marv Levy (the GM) - NO (NO AGAIN) 7. Tom Donahoe (THE GM) - YES (AND YES) 8. Orenthal (The Killer) - YES (BUT IF THE GLOVES DON'T FIT - YOU MUST ACQUIT) 9. The Elvis guy in section 8 (oh, sorry, he is a "Section 8", and a tool) - MAYBE (BUT LEANING MORE TOWARD THE YES SIDE) 10. The drunk who urinates in the sink at the Ralph. - YES (X 100) 11. The nob who fist fights with his wife at the Ralph. - YES (X 1,000) 12. The guy who changed our uniforms after the 2001 season. - MAYBE 13. The cab driver that tell Chris Berman who the Bills will be drafting ever single year. - NO (NEVER KILL THE MESSENGER OR THE SOURCE) 14. Chris Mortensen - YES (X 100 AND ALL OF HIS ESPN BILLS-HATING-BUDDIES) 15. Jerry Sullivan - YES (X 1,000,000 FOR SULLY-IN-YOUR-PANTS THAT POS) 16. Mr. Big town (bleep)-rider, Colin Cowherd - YES (X 1,000) 17. Leon Lett (had he not fumbled in SB XXVII, we would've given up the most points in SB history!) - NO (DON BEEBE'S HUSTLE HAD MORE TO DO WITH THE FUMBLE) 18. Scott Norwood - NO F'ING WAY (HE MADE SO MANY CLUTCH FG'S IT'S SICK) 19. Bill Cowher - NO (SOUR GRAPES) 20. Mike Shannahan - NO (SOUR GRAPES) ALSO ADD: 21. ANYONE WHO THINKS MR. WILSON BELONGS THERE! 22. NEGATIVE NANCIES THAT POST HERE (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE)! 23. INTERNET TOUGH GUYS/BULLIES THAT POST HERE (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE)!
  5. no maybe about it - it is racist - and a pathetic mind set to express your racism here
  6. you get an "f" for being negative and not nice but you get an "a" for being funny - it did make me laugh
  7. a poor conclusion - the statement stands as is: we are better off this year with respext to the coaching staff - and as far as your "At least we don't suck as bad as last year!" mantra is concerned . . . it makes wonder which is more worthless and pathetic that post or the poster of that post
  8. (1) good point and i think you may be right if you tie in (2) because they were peaking at the right time. (2) i agree (3) i don't even think he is a good coach let alone a great one - but you could be right as he is 1 for 1 in getting to the playoffs so far but time will tell (4) i agree that emotion, when used in a positive manner, can be a strong motivator for a person or a team
  9. short but pointless this staff is better than the staff we had last year - get over it - really
  10. top to bottom this is a better coaching staff than we had last year - everyone knows this - move on
  11. wow - really? i read that most people of that persuasion just use gerbils
  12. if you were right i would agree with you - but you are not right nor are you more qualified to run this team - in fact you are not even remotely qualified (based on what your stated experience shows) to run any professional team, in any league
  13. the only thing that matters to me is who will get the most wins - i dont care if it's 210-240 yards of checkdowns or throwing for 350-400 yards downfield it just doesn't matter - the only people that need those stats are the fantasy folks but i want wins anyway they come - i would rather win a game with a qb throwing for 145 yeards than lose a game with a qb throwing 400+ yards - and once the winning mentality gets internalized then you will be surprised how quickly the stats are just meaningless
  14. well i am not as impressed by the jests as you are i think - their biggest weakness is their raving manic of a coach - but he is entertaining - and yes they made the playoffs but don't forget how they made the playoffs . . . by other teams rolling over in the last week or in somecases the last two weeks - without all the help they got they would not have been in the playoffs and everyone knows this - i still think the patsies will be the team to beat this year - we are not there yet but anything could happen especially if we are better than 30th in the nfl against the run this year - and remember the o-line played very well in the first game of the season before injuries started taking its toll on the o-line so anything is possible
  15. i really do think it's ok to disagree with someone's post - but i also think it possible to do so in a non-offensive manner - the name calling and degrading words just show a lack of ability to be a part of an intelligent conversation - there is no cause for personal attacks
  16. i am also excited about the improvements that were the most important improvements that had to be made - getting much better than 30th in the nfl against the run - any team that is 30th against the run will lose more than they win and it doesnt matter who is the qb or lt is - we fixed the biggest area of concerm we had - now onto the rest of the plan - in gm nix and coach gailey we trust - go bills!
  17. most of oakland's problems were/are coaching - i don't think that we will have those same problems this year - i am actually excited to see what our coaches can do with these guys - especially the o-line and qb's - i think it will surprise many people on this board
  18. ok you're crazy - but so am i because i agree with you 100%
  19. also try baltimore's inner harbor and the fish market - former div 1 head coach here and i went there a lot and i always had a nice time in baltimore
  20. your easy-going positive outlook on things must make you a real nice person to be around - just kidding about the real nice person to be around thing - life must really be hard for you - i am sorry for you
  21. your point is well taken and shared by most people who understand that the draft is a crapshoot - therefore all the draft grades are just a joke and not based on nfl game playing ability imo - you don't see these same guys come back 3 years later and analyze just how badly they graded teams' draft picks
  22. well done - also i am of the point of view - 30th in the nfl against the run will not win many games - that was the first thing that had to be addressed - and it doesn't matter who is qb is or who the lt is, 30th against the run will compile more losses than wins
  23. not at 6'2" it isn't - it is really fast actually
  24. yeah - and did you know that pearl harbor was bombed? - old news - everyone knows this - everyone knows he will be ready by the start-to-middle of training camp with that said i do agree with you on getting a left tackle this offseason if possible - but if they don't i really am sure it won't be because they did not try to
