  2. i like it - seeing the good in a tough situation
  3. really not funny - anything suicide never is
  4. i'm so happy to have back with the bills family - and you are most "WELCOME"
  5. 100% correct PTR BTW - i like all the interviewing - i like the process - i am just as anxious as everyone else is to get it done and over but with that said the process is solid and will serve us well in the end i am sure - i say that because i have faith that nix will do what he thinks is best for the bills.
  6. i'd never take anyone that sullivan recommends - he's not a bills fan - never will be - he does not have the best interest of the bills in anything that spews from his negatuve, venemous scratchings
  7. i hate the pasties as much as anyone - but i never get joy seeing a player get hurt like that
  8. try as i might . . . . . . this is one of the most unusual places i've ever been , and i've been to over 35 different countries. all i have read over the past 2 moths or so is "blow it up . . . . . blow it up . . . . . " so it was blown up - and now folks still seem post negativity on the very thing they have been demanding. unreal. hey guys & gals . . . this is an opportunity - a positive opportunity - but like most businesses (or like life for that matter) it's a crap shoot - one can only hope that nix will put us on a path to recovery and winning
  9. yeah count me in. i'm sure you have someone in mind for the st coaching position - so i'll through my hat in for the et coaching position.
  10. i think he means Catch 22
  11. happy to see some agree with me on this - and i agree with you totally - but the bolded part above in your post is really an understatement
  12. What will Jerry Sullivan whine about? Punting on 4th down in the 2ndQ instead of going for the first? Losing out on a better draft pick? Not starting Brohm? Running the score up on the Colts? all of the above - plus he will add his branded negativity on the topics of: - snow is white; - grass is green; - sky is blue; - fire is hot; - etc......... you get the idea
  13. there is no need for apologies - your response indicates that there are more concerns at play - i hope you get better. however i would like to address three seperate parts of your - well response: #1: i am as real as it gets; #2: i'm not that nice of a person; and #3: i promise you that if you were standing in front of me - you would not call me sally.
  14. i can't speak for anyone else but myself. but i am willing to answer your 5 questions. Q1: talk with them, find out as much as possible and educate them on why that will not be tolerated. Q2: suspension period - no excuses for cheating. Q3: a little extra running is always a valid incentive to showing up on time. Q4: again i'd talk with them and see what is going on in their lives and help to become more productive. Q5: i listened intensely while they are talking, then explain to them why i made the decisions i made. now i may have taken my job more seriously then some - but giving them the best experience possible and nurturing them into contributive members of society - while improving their atheltic skills was my overall goal. for sure things happen all the time, and they always will, however all that really matters is how they are dealt with.
  15. you are spot on with that - that is exactly the nfl policy. good job
  16. let me answer your 1st question: your comment was negative, demeaning and confrontive. now to answer your 2nd question: a grown man who has a mind to express himself non-verbally. btw as human beings - we communicate over 70% of the time non-verbally.
  17. the only real issue i have with your post is what i bolded and up-sized. i can tell you as a former Division I Head Coach what Leach did was an offense worthy of being fired - and to punish an NCAA athelete by releasing him from the team because he had a concussion and reported a clear violation of being punished by putting him in a confined room is beyond wrong on so many levels. just a few points to think about - if James was released that would send a very bad message to the rest of the NCAA coaches on what they could do; also it is totally against the current NCAA's policy on how to treat atheletes with concussions; also it would inhibit other NCAA atheletes from reporting violations by their coaches for fear of being released - and some of them are scholarship atheletes who would lose their scholarships in that instance. it just could not be done.
  18. what part of florida?
  19. ya know - it's ok to disagree with someone - but the naming calling is just un-called-for and lame. and byw - it's always better received if one is clever enough to offer alternative positive suggestions.
  20. tim, anytime you can get here is a plus for us
