Marty gets a lot of sh-- for not being able to win in the playoffs but Buffalo is the PERFECT place for Martyball. Unfortunately we don't have the OL for Martyball. With the right OL Lynch could have 1400 yards per season.

Just some trivia about Holt. Back when Tony Kornheiser had his own show on ESPN radio he told a story about running into holt at a gym in Washington. Now keep in mind that this was back during his "Greatest Show on Turf" days but Tony said he watched him run on the treadmill for almost an hour. He said while that wasn't all that impressive the fact that the treadmill was at max elevation and max speed was.

Here's the reality a lot of us are overlooking: If Jason Peter's doesn't want to be here he's not going to sign a new contract or any kind of extension. If he's destined to leave then we might as well get as much as humanly possible for him if someone else is interested. Sure we could franchise him next year but what if he plays like crap again this year. Then his value has depreciated immensely. We need to learn from what the Patriots do. Bellichek has no fear of jettisoning players if he has a solid plan that will make the team better. Bledsoe, Milloy, McGinnest, Vinateri, Vrabel, Cassell... the list goes on and on. What he is masterful at is getting maximum value for those players and drafting smart. When was the last time you remember the Pats having just 1 first round draft choice. If we're going to lose him after this year then get everything you can for him and sign an aging veteran cap casualty.

Some of us have been around long enough to remember the "bickering Bills". All this talk about T.O. ruining team chemistry seems to overlook the history of this organization. During the greatest run in team history we had three of the arguably biggest egos ever to set foot in RWS. We seem to have forgotten about Bruce's off season antics, the holdouts etc.. Levy was a master of managing egos, lets see what Jauron can do.

I'll be excited when we finally make the playoffs. Right now we're just another 7-9 team with some big names on the roster.

I used to care about Buffalo only having "character" guys. After thirty years of failure, the last 10 of which being horrifying I'm throwing the character issue under the bus. If we get Coles then we'll have 2 legitimate WR's. I love Josh Reed for his effort but when you look at the compilation of his work his numbers are terrible. I think the addition of Coles makes Reed even better. Parrish should be this teams Welker but still has yet to live up to the hype with the exception of his return ability. The rest of the guys are either works in progress or extremely mediocre.

I can't really blame the Buffalo media for hammering Lynch. The guy spent almost all of the last offseason fighting felong hit and run charges. The positive is that it's the Buffalo media and no one outside of 100 miles of Buffalo will ever notice. Can you imagine if Lynch played for the Jets or Giants? The media would be crucifying him.

Ok Einstein I'll play. Ask yourself this question: "Why was McCallister released" Was it because he's a cap casualty or because he's lost a step and can't cover anymore? If that answer is the latter then you don't consider him. period. Just because you've heard of him doesn't mean he makes us better. If the Bills don't spend a massive amount of their available money in free agency to bolster the DL and DE positions then we won't win five games next year.
