  1. So my first game at Lambeau was AWESOME! Sure the Bills played like crap and looked even worse but I had a fantastic NFL experience. Lambeau is a beautiful stadium and the cheeseheads were absolutely awesome. The passion they have for their team is evident and frankly, they're all pretty stoked about this season and they should be. The stadium is a bit different in that all of the luxury boxes are way up high and the common fans all sit down in the bowl. It was very much a college atmosphere. As for the Bills, they looked even worse live than they did on TV. Pass protection was solid but there is absolutely ZERO seperation between our WR and their DBs. On the running side, there are NO holes for Lynch to run through. Why our DB's continue to play 10 yards off the receiver is beyond me, especially in a goal line situation. It's going to be a LONG season folks..............
  2. It amazes me that everyone seems to think that Jauron "calling players out" will make the team play better. It doesn't work that way guys. Jauron is what he is. He's never going to be a coach that is overly emotional nor is he going to call out his players. You might as well get used to it.
  3. So we're out in Green Bay visiting relatives and our visit just happens to coincide with the Bills/Packers game. Honestly I couldn't have planned this better so we're going to tonight's game! We've got 6 seats, lower level, 50 yard line. Oh yeah, I'm stoked! I'll be representing Bills nation to the best of my ability, hopefully I don't' get hit in the back of the head with giant wheel of cheese. I should be safe, Packer nation is all in a tizzy over Favre joining the Vikes. I'll let you know my impressions as soon as I can.
  4. Or we could cut one of our incredibly overpaid, consistently underproducing DE's.
  5. Running an organized dog fighting ring and engaging in self abusive behavior aren't the same thing. But to answer your question, yes many of them do.
  6. Does anyone actually believe the Vick would have stopped the dog fighting ring if he hadn't been caught and sent to prison? I absolutely believe he'd still be doing it today if he wasn't caught It's amazing how incarceration (and the loss of MILLIONS of dollars) makes you realize what you were doing was !@#$ing HORRIBLE. I'm sorry, but the sh-- he was doing before being caught was horrific, he knew it was illegal, unethical and down right freaking cruel and yet he had no problem with it. I'm not all that religious so I don't owe him any forgiveness. I hope some dog loving defensive lineman breaks his leg or chokes the !@#$ing life out of him.
  7. The first starter that goes down in a meaningless series in a meaningless preseason game will by followed of a flood of posts all saying "WHY WAS HE STILL PLAYING IN A PRESEASON GAME". There's no winning this one for a head coach.
  8. Just put a helmet on Van Pelt. I guarantee and he can still play better than either of our backup QB's.
  9. What I read: Stroud has lost a step and can't even beat a rookie!
  10. Frankly, I don't understand why all players aren't like this. He's getting a chance to live his dream, why not act like you care.
  11. Isn't Parrish the same guy that was afraid to leave his house because of the snow? Actually it does matter, it matters a lot. Many of the offenses pre-snap reads require the QB and WR's to be seeing and reacting to the same thing. A QB will have to decide whether to throw the hot read or to go over the top and the WR needs to react to what they're seeing. If the QB reads one thing and the receiver is a drooling idiot the odds that he and the quarterback being on the same page are slim. I'm not saying that the WR's need to be MENSA candidates but it would help if they were smart enough to tie their own shoes.
  12. So if the DL looks good we're doomed because our OL is terrible? If the OL looks good we're doomed because our DL can't put pressure on the QB? Jesus relax they didn't even have pads on today. Gonna be a long season with all the chicken little's on this board.
  13. You know what happens when you put raw rookies in high complexity, high pressure situations? They do neat things like miss blitzing LB's that get their QB killed or run the wrong pattern that results in a sack or an interception. Nice job of combining journalism with wild skepticism and your vivid imagination ya hack. Schonert saying "we have to be careful what we do with him" doesn't necessarily mean Nelson isn't going to start or excel. It means that they're going to put him into controlled situations where he can flourish.
  14. Charlie the Butcher's behind the airport is one fo the best I've had. Combined with some sweet potato fries it's incredible. If you venture farther south the Beef and Barrel in Olean has an outstanding BoW.
  15. Walker's going to have to play pretty crappy to give up as many sacks as Peter's did last year. Why don't we just wait and see what happens.
  16. The '90 Bills didn't exactly have a "monster" defense. They had some players that were defensive monsters but they still gave up a ton of points and yards. What they did do is create turnovers that almost always led to touchdowns. I have fond memories of Mark Kelso playing defense on the other side of the county. Bruce routinely over ran running plays and Jeff Wright wasn't exactly all world.
  17. Every neighborhood goes through some cycles. Unfortunately right now we seem to be in our ghetto phase. How I long for the old days. At least Hogboy was entertaining, this new wave is just annoying.
  18. Gee and all this time I thought it was going to be Chuck Dickerson!
  19. I don't disagree Bill but I think a legitimate passing attack will also help the running game. Teams can't double both Lee and Terrell. If they try then it's up to Josh Reed or our new TE to make them pay for it. If we can at least hurt them with a few completions opposing defenses won't be able to island up their corners while their FS & SS stack the box.
  20. Kelly and Thurman's activities in Fredonia would have horrified today's Bills fans.
  21. WTF, where is our pass rush? How is it possible that Edwards has enough time to throw a 45 yard pass???? That's it, I'm going out on a limb and calling it. Maybin's a bust, he can't get to the QB.
  22. Wow, the stupid train has pulled into the station. Hey genius, do some research and check out how many people are killed every year by some idiot who thinks drinking and driving is "no big deal". Contrary to your opinion, there are some people who care a lot. There are people whose lives have been torn apart by some dumb ass drunk who decides to drive. Here, I'll help get you started, tell me if this matters you stupid sh--. This is what happens when you engage in your so called "no big deal" activity. http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-an...,0,118557.story Google "drunk driving" and you'll find thousands of horror stories like this.
  23. Ralph Wilson already lives in Florida. I don't see how this has anything to do with the Bills. The sad reality is NYS is driving people out faster than the idiots in Albany can raise taxes. The entire Thruway corridor is turning into a gigantic shithole and only those in severe denial don't see it. Seriously, if you could live in Florida with his income you'd have to be !@#$ing nuts to live in Buffalo or Rochester.
  24. The LPGA tour has had a bunch of hot women on it for years. Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis to name a few. The bottom line though is the tour won't care how good she looks if she can't make a cut.
