  1. WTF is wrong with this team that they can't run a slant. Jesus T.O. lived off the slant in SF and Philly. Run a !@#$ing slant!!!
  2. This is the BEST line from that article! (Important note: My father is a charter member of this group. In fact, when I told him that I planned to write this column, he hissed things like, "it's too early," "we'll be fine," "you give up on our teams too easily," "this reminds me of when you quit on the Celtics two springs ago" and "you're an a**hole and I wish we weren't related." All solid points.)
  3. Ironically this pretty much describes how many feel about you as a poster. You might be a nice guy in real life but as a poster you''re a complete loser and a total zero.
  4. The intent of my original post wasn't to be snarky and take a shot at Maybin. I actually meant to ask a legitimate question. Apparently everyone feels the need to legitimize their own point of view.
  5. Runyan worked out with the Eagles, a team he played for for NINE years. They needed a tackle as bad as we did and they didn't sign him. What does that tell you? House Ballard can move as well now as Runyan.
  6. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...ae-30b04d79b04b Russ Got er done!
  7. Sorry I can't be there this year gang. Take a lot of pictures for me and have a GREAT time.
  8. They did it, they admitted it, now they should suffer whatever consequences result.
  9. Who gives a crap. I'm tired of the Patriots treating us like a doormat. Do you think they've had any fear of playing us in the past? They didn't because we were soft and they knew we were soft. A nice punch in the mouth or a little late downfield blocking conveys a message about attitude. Frankly I'd rather have the Patriots think of us as a bunch of nasty, late hitting dirty mother f'ers than just another win.
  10. Actually calling these "thoughts" is being extremely generous.
  11. Take Randy Moss out of the equation and the Patriots are downright average. Moss is just that good.
  12. The bigger question is how can we communicate to Leodis that there are THOUSANDS of Bills fans that realize it's a game and support him completely?
  13. Oh come on, give the guy some credit. He fired two passes, one to Owens and one to Evans that hit them both in the hands and they dropped them. Not to mention the ones that were called back because of the idiotic penalties.
  14. Georgia is also in the top 20 nationally for violent crimes per 100,000. Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
  15. Well at least we know it wasn't Marshawn's house. Nobody is that stupid. First, he was home and second, everyone knows that dude is packin!
  16. This isn't a Seymore scenario. Here's why: 1. Lynch is not a 30 year old player. 2. Lynch is not in the last year of his contract and we don't know for a fact we're not resigning him. 3. No one is going to give us a first round pick for Lynch. RB's are a dime a dozen and most easily replaced position. 4. You need a partner stupid enough to give us enough value to make this viable. Unless GB is willing to give us A.J Hawk or Pittburgh is willing to part with their starting MLB I'm just not interested. There's just no way I'm convinced that Jackson can carry the ball 20 times a game and make it through the season. Oman is a HUGE drop off. It's still crazy IMO.
  17. I did see some of that last night. Jackson runs will a bit of a gliding style ala Dickerson but he's very patient like Thurman was. I still have fond memories of Thomas rounding the corner with his hand on the back of one of his OL waiting for the block and then darting past the defender. This trade Lynch crap is crazy. He may not be able to catch the ball the way Jackson does but the guy is a bruiser. I say give each of them 15 carries or catches per game and we're a MUCH better team. Jackson moves better int he open field but there isn't a DB in the league that wants to tackle Lynch when he's moving at full speed.
  18. Well if Poz ever needs his teeth fixed well get back to you. I'm not an Orthopod but it could be a bone density issue. It's hard to tell because it's only his arm and he did make it through a entire season last year. We should just wait till the report comes out.
  19. You don't know much about football do you? Trent did exactly what he should have last night. They were doubling Evans AND Owens. Forcing the ball down field just results in picks.
  20. Say what you want, Trent took a metric ton of sh-- this pre-season. Sure I'd like to see him take more shots downfield but he managed the game, didn't make any mistakes and played his ass off tonight. Let's face it, going into Foxboro and winning on a Monday night was a TALL order. I think he redeemed himself tonight.
  21. Did anyone catch the post game show last night after the Packers/Bears game? Listening to Dungy and Harrison talk is quite literally painful.
