  1. It starts at the top. Having a solid stable owner and GM is far more important that who the head coach is. Look at Pittsburgh or the New York Giants for your example.
  2. There really is only one way to send a message. Don't buy anything Bills related. No season tickets, no shirts, no hats, no nothing. If you have season tickets for this year you can save yourself some time and money and don't go. Put them up on ticket exchange and hope someone is dumb enough to buy them. If season tickets sales drop by 90% Ralph will undoubtedly get the message.
  3. For as much Mort hate there it's looking to me like he's been more right than wrong.
  4. Maybe that's our problem? Our head coach is from Yale and our QB is from Stanford. Are there 2 worse teams in college football?
  5. I seem to remember predictions WAY back that were made by Mr. Larry. What I can't remember is if any of them were correct.
  6. And this is exactly why Jauron is an embarrassment to Yale grads everywhere. Do you think for a second that if Bellichek had a first round draft choice on his roster that he'd make the same choice. He'd stick Maybin in at MLB in a heartbeat. Sure he may not be an Urlacher or Hawk but hell can he be worse than some scrub? Duurrrrr.....we can't put Maybin in a LB, despite him having the ideal size AND speed. On the sheet it says he's a DE.....duuur.
  7. What a freaking act of cowardice. "The media will only twist his words". How about this Ralphy, how about you stand at a podium and explain to the fans who pour their hard earned dollars into this waste of a franchise why they should spend one more nickle on your abomination. YOUR team hasn't won a division game in 2 years. 2 freaking years and you're worried about the media twisting your words. Ya know what, I'm done. I'm done buying tickets, shirts, hats etc. I'm done attending your sideshow training camp and I'm done pouring my money and emotion into something you clearly are no longer capable of managing. The team is a disgrace, I'm now officially embarrassed to be a Bills fan. Oh and Ralph, go !@#$ yourself!
  8. They left it in a parking lot overnight and are surprised it was stolen?
  9. There was a GREAT discussion on QB play by Trent Dilfer last week on The Herd. Dilfer was talking about how QB's need to learn how to throw the ball at the NFL level. His progression basically went like this: 1. In high school, the QB learns to throw the ball to the WR after he makes his cut. 2. In college, the QB learns to throw the ball to the WR as he's making his cut. 3. At the pro level, a QB has to learn to throw the ball where the WR will be before he makes his cut. Think about this as you watch Edwards play QB this year. There has been a LOT of discussion about TO and other WR's being open but Trent not pulling the trigger. It's my contention that this ability to throw before the cut or where the WR is going to be is what's killing Edwards. Dilfer also went on to say that if a QB is picked off enough or doesn't trust his WR's then he'll hold the ball too long, takes sacks or go for the checkdown. That results in a downward spiral that can only result in poor overall play and lack of production. That my friends, is our QB in a nutshell.
  10. Receiver Lee Evans(notes) shook his head when asked if he believes Jauron will be fired. “I hope not,” Evans said. “That’s not going to solve anything.” If our highest paid receiver doesn't think that Jauron is the problem then I'd be curious to know what he thinks the problem is. Is it Edwards, is it Van Pelt, is it the organization? It's really amazing to me that the #1 WR on a team that hasn't won a division game in two years thinks the head coach isn't the problem. One thing is certain, none of the players seem to blame Jauron for this disaster. This entire organization has turned into a freaking disgrace. I now know what it feels like to be a Lions fan. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/recap?gid=2009...002&prov=ap
  11. The Bills by far. I didn't expect much from Syracuse or Marone because he's largely dealing with players that aren't his. They were also going up against a team that was night and day better than them. The Orange are comprised of kids who seem to understand the game better than the alleged professionals on the Bills.
  12. Firing Jauron should be the start of an avalanche of dismissals that should include at least four other people. Jauron, Brandon, Modrak, Guy and Allaire should all be gone. I'm willing to give Fewell another chance because his defense is absolutely decimated by injuries. I think they pulled someone from the stands to play MLB after Buggs went down. If you don't clean house you're just putting a band aid on a massive head wound. Jauron is responsible for getting the team ready to play and he's failing miserably. The other stooges are responsible for making sure we have actual NFL level talent on this team. Anything other than a complete house cleaning is just prolonging the pain.
  13. I've never played QB but I'm pretty sure I could go 2 of 17 for 23 yards.
  14. I SWEAR TO GOD that was exactly my thought as well. I thought "holy **** it's weekend at Bernie's"!
  15. Ooompah doompah doompah di dooo! When I first turned on the game I thought Oompa Loompa's were playing!
  16. Ironically there are a lot of fans that seem to wish you weren't a Bill either!
  17. That would be great, maybe we could be outcoached in another Super Bowl!
  18. Looks at the bright side, you can actually now do something useful on Sunday's because there's no reason to spend 3 hours watching this trash.
  19. I wonder, who teaches our LB's to run into a gap and basically ignore where the ball is? I that last run blitz Mitchell sprinted right through the center/RG gap and ran right past the ball carrier. WTF, I learned how not to do that in high school.
  20. Welcome to the pit of despair where Jauron sucks the life out of us one day at at time!
  21. Levy LOST 4 super bowls because he couldn't control his players. We seem to forget that he was completely out coached in the 1st, it shouldn't even have come down to Norwood's kick. I frankly don't care what he thinks any more.
  22. You'd think someone with all the bravado and intensity that Ryan shows would be able to push himself away from the buffet table once in a while.
  23. Anyone that's been here for more than a months knows that Bado, Simon and Lori are the sages of TBD. If they tell you something you should just STFU and listen. I'd also include Albany, Petrino, Jay and John in that group. Actually, there are many wise sages here, it's just that their insight sometimes drowns in a sea of idiocy.
