  1. I hadn't heard about Marty but I did read somewhere that Ralph and Bill Cowher were meeting somewhere secretly and that Cowher was going to be the next head coach of the Bills. I'm just sayin...................
  2. The problem isn't Tim Graham, John Wawrow, Jerry Sullivan, Allen Wilson, Vic Carrucci or WGR. The problem is One Bills Drive and it's owner. Rather than get competent people they hire boobs. The Bills increasingly bizarre owner won't reach past his "comfort" zone so rather than get good people he gets people that don't scare him. If you'll recall, when they hired Nix, Ralph made a comment about a "list of names" that was presented to him. He stated something like "I didn't recognize them or know who they were and neither did Russ". If that single statement didn't give you a shiver of fear then you haven't been paying attention.
  3. Guy was the Director of Pro Personnel, I doubt he had anything to do with recruiting college players.
  4. I know we need OL help desperately but I would much prefer to get it through free agency. Keep Incognito and move Levitre to tackle then get one via FA. If McClain is there an we pass on him I'm going to be VERY sad. That guy can be a game changer and will contribute immediately.
  5. Buddy and Chan addressed this question specifically. They both said the only way to prove anything is to win. No statement, no assurances, nothing will silence the critics other than winning.

  7. I really don't give a **** what Tim Tebow believes. It he wants to tattoo scripture on his genitals and !@#$ goats that's his business. If he wants to go on TV or the internet and scream his views to the heavens that's his prerogative. What I do believe is this: 1. If you're going to espouse your views to the world you damn well better be prepared to deal with the blowback and repercussions. For every person that agrees with Tebow there are likely to be 2-3 that don't. He's about to learn that this isn't Gainesville anymore, he's playing on the national stage. 2. I'm not the most religious person in the world but I find it insulting when players thank God for their performance or a win. How shallow do you have to be to believe that your God actually gives a **** about your sporting event? Now time for my blasphemous comment: Why don't any of the religious pundits ever buy airtime to call out God when he kills 200,000 people in Haiti? Seems to me that if you're going to praise him for his mercy, you should call him out when he acts like a douche bag.
  8. If we can reduce the number of guys on IR by 50% that's got to be worth something. It's hard to beat anyone when your starters are all out for the season.
  9. Your dad called. You continue to disappoint him.
  10. No worse than when we lost our 4th straight super bowl. Nix and Gailey said it best, the ONLY thing that stops the critics is winning.
  11. Ka_Mitchell55: Chan Gailey: Let's go 2 work baby. More 2 come @ 1 Bills Dr. Who's our DC? Our HC is an Off. mind. Now we need a DC who bleeds violence! http://boards.buffalobills.com/showthread....926#post3409926
  12. Kelly and Thomas are no where near as "inside" as they'd like you to believe.
  13. So the question becomes, which QB's out there have played under one of Gailey's systems that could step right in? I don't think there are any unless we want to pull Jay Feidler out of retirement
  14. Am I alone in thinking that the hiring of Chan Gailey could resurrect Marshawn's career. Lynch to me seems like the type of player that needs a hard nosed coach to push him? Then again, i might be wrong and they may just want to cut him
  15. "You have to run the ball". "You don't need to lead the league in rushing but you have to be able to run the ball". - Chan Gailey I like that!
  16. sar⋅casm   /ˈsɑrkæzəm/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [sahr-kaz-uhm] Show IPA Use sarcasm in a Sentence See images of sarcasm Search sarcasm on the Web –noun 1. harsh or bitter derision or irony. 2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: a review full of sarcasms.
  17. No you're just another ignorant !@#$ that thinks that making fun of a southern accent is funny. It doesn't make you a bad person, it just makes you look stupid.
  18. Anyone else sitting here grimacing in anticipation of what Ralph will say? I realize the guy is really really really old but listening to him speak at these "event" is painful.
  19. So where's the outcry to hire Mike Martz or Brian Billick? Each is as qualified as Cowher! The difference is that the smacktards that inhabit this board seem to believe that screaming and yelling like a lunatic on the sidelines equates to wins. If that were the case Carl Mauck would be in the Hall of Fame.
  20. Many of the players know less about what is going on than we do.
