  1. I was just going to say, someone should ask Kevin Everett how he feels about Buffalo's attention to detail.
  2. If Maybin doesn't come into camp wearing 20lbs more muscle then I doubt he'll ever make it as an NFL DE. The positive that he has going for him is that he came out a year early and still has some growing and filling out to do. I would think that if he's not contributing by game 10 of next year then he should look at moving to LB or he may have a short NFL career. Personal motivation is a strange thing, some have it, others don't. We'll find out if Maybin has it......
  3. What's really funny is that Nix and Gailey are probably in better shape than half the posters here!
  4. This may come as a bit of a surprise to you but there is a fair amount of ignorant white trash spread around beautiful upstate New York. Granted, there's no drawl but I promise you they're just as stupid as any rednecks you'll find down south. Ever been to the Tug Hill region? How about the southern tier? Appalachia has nothing on parts of NYS. Nice job on attempting to be an elitist douche bag though.
  5. They couldn't wait to get rid of Marty Schottenheimer either. They're idiots.
  6. He's also been throwing to dreck WR's for most of his career. The year he had TO they seemed to do OK! The guy has never had a legitimate RB or WR corp. He's carried that team.
  7. You know what has impressed me so far, the fact that Buddy Nix said he had a plan and a process and he's carrying through with it. Gailey fits his criteria for coach and both Nix and Gailey stressed the ability to teach as a HUGE requirement for assistants. I don't have a clue who Giff Smith is or what he's capable of but if his highly regarded as a recruiter that says something about his ability to relate to young players. Something the Bills have in droves I LOVE the fact that "football guys" are apparently running the "football" operation. Maybe Ralph has learned his lesson.
  8. I think if you're looking for a player that has the biggest body of work with the ability to start on day one it's Clausen.
  9. I just don't care what Tebow believes or doesn't believe. I do get annoyed though when I have to look at freaking scripture on a players eye black.
  10. I think Buddy Nix said it best when he said you "have to look at a players entire body of work". If a player was great in high school and great in college, there's a good chance he'll be great in the pro's. I doubt you'll find the Nix/Gailey team looking at projects or reaching for players like Maybin.
  11. Is that the Chad Pennington that took the Dolphins to the playoffs? JP Losman had a cannon. Unfortnately he couldn't read a defense to save his life. The ability to throw the ball 60 yards downfield is but one piece of a massive puzzle. I'd rather not chose a QB based solely on arm strength.
  12. You forgot one point in your analysis. Ticket sales. Good or bad, Tebow will sell tickets....ooodles of them. I believe the "noise" around Tebow this week will be deafening. If you add in outstanding combine scores this kids is going to ROCKET up the draft charts. I'd still rather have McClain but I don't get to make the pick.
  13. Five turnovers (three fumbles and two interceptions) 12 men on the field after a time out A disgraceful rookie QB mistake by a 20 year veteran Stop crying, take care of the ball & score more points.
  14. So an article written by "Staff" that quotes a "league personnel evaluator" as a source is worth discussing. Journalism on the intarweb continues to boggle me. I wonder what the chances are that the "personnel evaluator" quoted was John Guy?
  15. I wanted the Vikings to win and then for them to get stomped in the super bowl so they'd have FIVE losses! Yeah, I'm that shallow.
  16. I'm not usually one to jump to conclusions based on a first impressions. I will say this though, after only 10 posts you've convinced me that you're as a douche bag. Buddy Nix is the GM of an NFL team, you're some tool on a message board. Game, set & match to Nix.
  17. I think Edwards as gone, not because he wouldn't make an acceptable backup but because he's mentally spent in Buffalo. He's turned on the city, the fans have turned on him. It's time for him to go.
  18. Considering some of the players we have on defense we should be looking for a Division 3 or high school coach. That's the definition of "fitting the defense to the players" I do find it entertaining that because he had Zach Thomas that he favors "small, quick" linebackers. Funny, I don't think "small" when I think of Merriman?
  19. I thought he was busy being in Ralph's "inner circle"? How are those calls to Cowher going Jim?
