Anybody who wants the Bills to pick Terrence Cody
Mike in Syracuse replied to Steely Dan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No boobs on Hampton and you can clearly see the muscle on Wilfork's biceps and triceps. Take a look at his neck and shoulders as well. No comparison when compared to Terrance "Krispy Kreme" Cody. That said, he'll make more money in his first year than I'll make in the next 10. If I had been given the gift of that kind of size and talent I'd be busting my ass in the gym 6 days a week. -
Terrence Cody's Awesome Pecs
Mike in Syracuse replied to prissythecat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never said he wasn't a great player. I said he was a fat slob which is a fact. The guy makes Jamie Nails look trim. If you don't have enough self discipline to keep yourself in shape when you're 19-20 you certainly aren't going to do it when your 25. The guy is costing himself millions of dollars because he can't keep cheeseburgers out of his mouth. Bring him into Buffalo and there's a chance he'll eat himself out of the league. Besides, I'm not interested in drafting a 2 down player in the first round. -

What's really sickening is that fat slob is going to sign with someone for a bajillion dollars this offseason. If you're going to call yourself a professional athlete you should have at least enough self respect to look like one. -

Update on Bradford from NFLN
Mike in Syracuse replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Edwards took a !@#$ing beating in college behind an abysmal OL. Bradford had one of the best lines in football and still got hurt. If you're going to be an opinionated homer at least be honest. Have some integrity. -
Update on Bradford from NFLN
Mike in Syracuse replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't dislike Bradford but two injuries to his throwing shoulder would scare the **** out of me as a GM. Trent Edwards gets ripped as being fragile yet his arm is equal to Bradford's, he's got a quicker release and compared to Bradford, Trent looks like Kimbo freaking Slice. I'm worried that if an NFL linebacker hits Bradford on a blitz that he might break into pieces. Too much risk IMO. -
I wish Steve Tasker had played about 8 years worth of WR for the Bills. I think he could have been better than Wes Welker if he'd played the WR position from day 1. Anyone else remember the Dolphins game where he had 3 reverses for about 90 yards? I think that was also the game where he made Bryan Cox so crazy that Cox lost his mind and was thrown out of the game.

Yes, Please don't clutter up the riveting conversation (aka incessant noise of): "I think we should draft (insert player name)" "I think we should cut (insert player name)" "I think we should trade (insert player name)" "anything with the word Tebow in it" I'd much prefer to engage in another six weeks of mock draft projections. And where would we be without are daily infusion of "who's dissing Buffalo now".

We could have the Dome Patrol at LB and it won't matter if our DL can't keep the OL from teeing off on them.

Polian Blames Superbowl Loss....
Mike in Syracuse replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's 1 for 5, not exactly a stellar record. Getting there is a major accomplishment but no one remembers you "getting there". Unless you're the Bills and you happen to lose four in a row. -

"Replacements" or surgeries? Unless they were using wooden joints there's no medical reason on earth to replace his knees 9 times. Modern joints can last as much as 30 years! I'm not even sure if it's medically possible to replace your knees nine times. Edit: Wow, I just read the article. I think Conrad needs a new ortho.

Kent Hull isn't in the HoF and he's far better than Ruben ever was.

Bad Scouting V. Bad Developing
Mike in Syracuse replied to HumbleAndHungry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone else wondering what kind of QB J.P might have evolved into if Gailey had been our head coach at the time? J.P had ALL the tools. HUGE arm, mobility etc. He just suffered from too little guidance and multiple doofus OC's. -
Playing football in a dome in Buffalo almost makes playing football in Buffalo pointless. Some of my best memories of Bills games are in the worst weather imaginable. That weather used to be our strength, our life blood and was a MASSIVE competitive advantage. Ask the Raiders...................... 51-3 bitches! I was there and it was COOOOOOLD!

Lambeau is very simple but also very awesome in it's design. Most of the luxury boxes are way up high while the fans sit down in the "bowl". It have a very college feel to it. Did you know that the Packers don't even have a cheerleading squad? Local school and college cheerleaders take turns at Packer home games!

Fixed that for you. Try not to create an international incident John

McShay Mock - Please God no....
Mike in Syracuse replied to sharper802's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last year Trent Edwards was 5-1 and was wildly heralded as the "FUTURE". Brohm was regarded as a great prospect before last years draft. You can put Peyton Manning behind our OL and he'll look like ****. No qb can play well when he's getting hit in the mouth every play. Fix the OL first and your QB play automatically improves. I'm just not ready to pull the plug on anyone that's on our current roster. -

I don't think there's any chance that the Bills are going to use their first pick on a QB. I think Gailey is going to look at all the tape from the last 2 years and I wouldn't be shocked if we wind up using a QB that's already on the roster. No QB coming out this year has any more talent than Brohm did coming out of college. Fix the line, install a real offense and the QB situation will fix itself. -
Saints fans react to Porter's INT

I feel confident in saying that if the Bills ever win the Super Bowl it will make the Saints celebration and Mardi Gra look like childs play. The parade in Buffalo will be MASSIVE! -

Dungy Says Super Bowl Won't Be Close
Mike in Syracuse replied to DPR4444's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Minnesota had FIVE turnovers and managed to put up 28 points on the 25th ranked Saints defense. The Saints will not be able to get to Manning in time to stop him and there's no way the Colts have 5 turnovers. Peyton might be able to hang 50 on the pitiful Saints defense. To me the question is: can the Colts slow down the Saints enough to win the points race? Remind me again, what wins championships?
