  1. Mead, It was great seeing you and the Mrs. again. Those stromboli were out of this world!
  2. Probably busy filing a restraining order against The Senator.
  3. She's SIXTY FREAKING FOUR! Enough said!
  4. It's always refreshing to see a bunch of anonymous internet experts criticizing the choices of guys that have spent their entire live around football. You remind me of the screaming dads at little league games. Always hoping that your son will succeed where you failed so miserably.
  5. When a defense has 11 guys within 5 yards of the LoS they are daring you to throw the ball. It really is the only choice you have. Unfortunately we failed miserably in that regard. I do think that Gailey won't hesitate to pull the plug on Edwards if he can't get it done. If he does Trent's career as a QB is over.
  6. I'm not usually one to agree with Sully on anything but I think he might be touching on a bigger issue here. In the article he mentions that when the QB switch was made last year no one had Edwards back. On Sunday during the game I noticed something that I thought was particularly odd. When Edwards gets hit, knocked down or sacked there never seems to be anyone around him helping him up. He also took a couple of high shots, perhaps borderline cheap yet not one of the Bills players retaliated. Is it possible that the players on the offensive side of the ball just don't like Trent?
  7. Pioli is building a team out in Missouri!
  8. At least we don't have the worst offense if the AFC East!
  9. What happened to Santonio Holmes? I thought he was supposed to put their offense over the top? Is he even playing?
  10. Cromartie is !@#$ing BRUTAL. No wonder the Chargers were willing to let him go for a 3rd round pick.
  11. I love hearing the "We're going to the Super Bowl" Jet fans booing their team when they're down by 4 in the 3rd quarter.
  12. You're right, I think the secondary is worse. They remind me a lot of the Patriots, other than Revis if they're not mugging you they can't cover you. The difference is Flacco is throwing the ball up letting his WR's make a play. I'm not sure Edwards is willing to do that.
  13. Yeah, it's not like we beat them last year with Jauron at the helm and less talent!
  14. I look at the Bills as a house that's been in disrepair for about 10 years. Rather than call in some experts and get things fixed properly the owners tried to skimp and do quick patches. Rather than fix the roof they just threw a tarp over the holes. Rather than fix the leaking walls in the basement they just installed another sump. Now there's a new owner that wants to fix the house properly. He wants to fix it himself, he wants to do it the right way but knows he can't do it all at once. It may not be the most expedient way to get the house in order it will be a house you're proud to live in when it's down.
  15. Troupe did exactly what he's supposed to do in a 3-4 defense, he occupied blockers. From what I could see, he was more effective than Williams at occupying the double team. If you're looking for him to bust into the backfield and whip QB's to the ground that's not what he's there for. Maybin had a pressure and was 1/2 second away from a sack. I'm not a Maybin homer but when you see that guy on the field you can understand why the Bills braintrust is being patient with him. The guy has crazy speed coming around the corner. One of these days he's going to decapitate a QB. Considering that he's only 22 I'd say he's worth keeping.
  16. Basically: -team is still finding identity. doesn't know what they're good at yet. -Urbik was VERY highly thought of and was on the board with Wood & Levitre. He's in the mix at rt but hasn't been around long enough to be ready. -wood, levitre and urbik were the 3 highest interior linemen on the bills' board in that draft. -Someone said the RT play was bad, and he said "I saw the same game as you." -He said Bell played well but physically can't play a whole game yet. -The defense played better than expected. -He's not a fan of mcnabb. Mcnabb ran around a lot and looked nice but the production wasn't there. -He's basically admitted that he knows the roster isn't where it needs to be but he'll get it there.
  17. A day later I don't give a **** that we lost to Miami. I have a TON of faith in this guy. Listen to what he says without calling specific players out. http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Buddy-Nix-Speaks-at-the-Monday-QB-Club/5f953c02-1d5d-4fdc-8e03-37365682b3c5 1. He basically admits that Green was terrible and knows they needs to make a change there. 2. Ulrik will be our starting RT and probably soon. 3. He and Gailey clearly know that this team does not have a ton of talent. It's going to take them a season to find their identity and they'll fill the holes from their. When you're done with that, watch the Gailey PC and you'll get even more insight as to what they're trying to do. I am absolutely convinced that these guys will build a winning organization. It might just take eight years.
  18. I realize we're all busy talking about how much Trent sucks and how bad a QB is but lets not overlook the dismal effort yesterday on the ground. We had FIFTY FREAKING YARDS rushing the ball. Our QB had twice as many yards rushing as our starting running back who also happened to be our #1 draft pick. That my friends is just dismal. We can survive a season with Edwards being a dismal QB, we can't survive if we can't gain more that fifty measly freaking yards on the ground.
  19. I'm sure he wasn't interested in getting into a discussion about how TERRIBAD Cornell Green is.
  20. The only thing that is keeping my from running over my own head is the hope that Gailey will see what the glaring weaknesses are a make a change.
  21. I think I heard Lori say that they shut down some of Pinto Kenny's festivities as well. The NFL wonders why no one wants to go to the games anymore?
  22. So in 4 days we've lost our starting and backup inside linebackers. Just lovely.
  23. The odds either way were ****ty. The best option would have been to have Trent take the snap in shotgun. If there's not a blown coverage and WR wide open then he could just run out of the endzone. That way you take the safety, but you still have the attempt a keeping the ball.
  24. This thread is a perfect example of how little your average fan understands. I was SCREAMING when I first saw the play, now that the strategy was explained to me I completely understand it and realize it was the most viable option. The reality is we never should have been in that postion, our offense played like ****!
