Because it works doesn't make it less stupid. It's absolutely idiotic that you can call a time out that doesn't stop the play before it's happens. You want to ice the kicker, that's fine. Calling a TO that doesn't take effect till the play has happened is ridiculous.

That time out rule has GOT to be changed this year. It's just stupid.

If Fitz continues playing at his current level taking a QB would be absolutely stupid. What this team desperately needs is a player that can generate a pass rush. Whether that player comes from the draft or free agency it is our single biggest position of need.

Can someone please help me understand something. It's my understanding that Maybin is supposed to be playing OLB. Why then, every time I see him on the field is he down on all fours in a DE position? It seems to me that if he has any chance to succeed it's going to be taking advantage of his speed in open spaces, not playing crab on the D line.

If Fitzpatrick continues to play at the level he's playing the Bills would be absolutely stupid drafting a QB with their 1st pick. How many "franchise" QB's never make the transition from college to the pro's? I don't care how Locker, Mallet or Luck look right now, none of that is a guarantee that they'll make the transition. Fitzpatrick may not be the most accurate QB in the NFL but the guy is proving one thing, he CAN get it done. He can make the throws, he can read the defenses and he has the "it" that allows him to throw a WR open. Most importantly, the entire offense believes in him. We've got a bonafide starter on the roster that can play at the NFL level. A rookie QB, no matter how talented, sets us back another 2-3 years. Fitz is easily as good as Flacco, Cassell, Ryan or that choad Sanchez. We made three HUGE mistakes this offseason: 1. Signing Cornell Green. 2. We should have kept Perry Fewell as our defensive coordinator, assuming he would have stayed. 3. Fitzpatrick should have been the starter through all of the OTA's and going into the season.

I can't remember, has Maybin been inactive for any other game this season? If not, and coming off the bye, this is a clear signal that it's the end of the line for Aaron Maybin. Maybe 4-5 years in the CFL and he might be able to develop into something but for now, it seems that Captain Haircut's career in the NFL is just about over.

If it were up to me I'd go with Stroud-Williams-Troup-Kelsay on the DL. Just move Kelsay to Schobel's spot. Get Maybin's god damn hands off the ground and put him in at OLB with Poz in the middle and one of the other equally dreck LB's on the other side.

According to this, there's some QB named Ryan Fitzpatrick who's tearing it up. Hell, Bradford's a stiff, he's ranked 31st. Then again, it might have something to do with the fact that the Ram's defense doesn't play like cheese cloth. Funny thing about numbers, they don't always tell the whole story!

The amount of **** that Whitner gets should be immediately moved to Paul Pozoutofposition. The guy gets beaten like mercilessly every weekend and yet he sells shirts like he's the only player on the team. Can someone please explain to me why this guy is treated like a white Patrick Willis yet he never seems to make a play that isn't 6 yards downfield.

If that's the case then I'm not sure why this is even an issue? BIG difference between a blood relative and a step sister.
