  1. Kenny and his Pinto show is truly a sight to see. Unfortunately he also tends to drawl a large crowd of supremely drunk idiots too. I like the former but have no use for the latter. That's actually one of the more enjoyable parts about Hammer's Lot, it's usually filled with Bills fans who know how to have a good time but are capable of controlling themselves.
  2. I'm hearing some very positive things about Troup and Jasper coming out of camp. We know what we have in Williams and Edwards and by all accounts, Dareus is living up to his 3rd pick status. I'm wondering if we'll see a lot more 4-3 this year simply because of the depth and the ability to create absolute pandemonium with the DL. A DL of Dareus, Troupe, Jasper, and Williams is a freaking nightmare. You could then run Merriman, Barnett and Moats behind them. I don't know about the rest of you but I'd be VERY happy with that defensive front. If nothing else, it's a front you don't want to have to face on 3rd down.
  3. You need to take a look at the early 90's teams that went to the Super Bowl. They were a HUGE collection of ego's and "me-first" types. They didn't earn the nickname "bickering bills" for nothing. To me, the brilliance of Marv Levy was not in his ability to coach but rather in getting a collection of monstrous ego's to work together as a team on Sunday.
  4. What's at play here that most of the rollercoaster riders don't get is that for some players it's about leverage. Fans get all excited because of a tweet when players like Clabo never had any intention of leaving ATL. Then when they don't sign the react as if they've been horribly slighted.
  5. As they say in Russia "Is broke, leg's no work"
  6. I love it when people criticize spelling then proceed to make spelling mistakes.....priceless.
  7. Awesome. The Bills should run out and sign the guy with the broken neck because the retard rollercoaster can remember his name.
  8. I'm continually astounded by the number of fans who think they know more about football than guys who have spent their entire lives in and around the game. If you thought Nix and Gailey were going to take the Donahoe/Williams & Levy/Jauron mess and fix it in two years your expectations were unrealistic.
  9. No offense but I'll trust Wanny over your SEC observations. I'm sure he's got some ideas on how best to use him. Someone should send Dukes a link to Marcel's interview. He basically says the defenses are identical and he's ready to play.
  10. Jamie Dukes is a !@#$ing idiot. My cat offers more insightful commentary. The guy is a glorified ball washer. I'm sure he doesn't know that we added Dave Wanny in the offseason. None of us have any idea how they'll change the defense this year.
  11. Jesus John make a phone call before this place implodes!
  12. This makes the Merriman/Ocho twitter exchange even more interesting. I hope Merriman knocks his ass out!
  13. Wow Bellichek is getting desperate now that he can't cheat.
  14. That is a LARGE dude! God I hope he excels!
  15. I'm wondering how much impact Dave W. had in this decision? He had a lot of time to review film and maybe he felt that Poz just wasn't all that great. Nix probably wasn't lying when he said they'd like to keep him but he also was not willing to overpay for average production. There's a reason Sheppard was drafted, and we haven't seen anything yet from Batten. Everyone's acting like Poz was all world and that he was a key to our defense. Making tackles 5 yards or more downfield doesn't make him a great LB, it makes him a body. He was a HUGE liability in pass coverage. His loss will not be anywhere near as devastating as the armchair DC's would like to believe.
  16. I think the image we all have of Poz is very different from what we actually got on the field. Can someone please tell me the last time Poz broke up a play in the backfield? The last major big impact sack he had? The last time he actually defended a pass across the middle? When you compare Poz to Patrick Willis it's like they're not even playing the same game. We will miss his experience but his production was far from all world.
  17. Can you imagine being a safety in and having to tackle Jasper!
  18. I would anticipate that they're going to go after guys they liked but may not be starters on other teams. They seem to LOVE trying to get the sleeper guys.
  19. Nix has openly stated: 1. They'll build through the draft. 2. They'll retain guys they identify as key players 3. They aren't fans of chasing "big money" guys None of Brown's comments should be a shock to anyone that's paying attention. Chasing names doesn't work (see Washington Redskins) and letting your premiere players go is stupid. I trust Buddy & Chan!
  20. I actually thing that people openly stating their opinions is a good thing. Whether I agree with them or not, it's nice to hear candid conversations.
  21. I am completely underwhelmed by the new uni's but I'm hopeful they'll look better on actual nfl players with pads. On another note: I love that the Bills honored the military by having armed services members model them. But but but...why does every Buffalo production have to look like it was put together by a six grade class? Our team has the production value of an elementary school play. And for God sakes, invest some money in a real internet stream.
  22. I can't believe no one has mentioned Sam Cowart. Before he got cheap shotted by that dirtbag lineman from TB he was absolutely starting to dominate. The first quarter he played in that TB game we was absolutely unblockable. He was never the same after that.
