  1. Fitz always looks like crap on the first few series....throws the ball all over the place
  2. You do know that he could make hundreds of millions if he just sold the damn team and let someone move it right? From a purely business perspective he's costing himself a fortune keeping the team in Buffalo. The loss of revenue from the lack of luxury boxes is absolutely staggering. Your business aptitude is not good.
  3. Chronic you're going to be so sad at 4:00pm. I almost feel bad for you. When your vaunted DL gets mauled in the trenches I don't want any excuses. If I doesn't work out that way, I'll be here to say "you were right". Likewise, I expect you to be here to take your whooping like a man! Regardless, it's been fun bantering with you!
  4. Mount a damn camera on a telephone pole so we can watch the happenings at the tailgate! Hope ya'll are having a great time.
  5. The numbers mean nothing. Half of your numbers were against some of the worst teams in the league. If the Bills got to play in your division I guarantee they'd have 4-5 more wins. You lose site of the fact we play the Patriots and the Jets twice EVERY season. You think the Raiders would win those games? We also played the Packers and the Ravens. The Raiders wouldn't have won those games either! The Bills took the Ravens and the Steelers to overtime. You got stomped by Pittsburgh and your amazing running game put up a whopping 3 points. Child please.......
  6. LOL, Tamba Hali weights 275lbs tops. Marcell goes about 330. You better get your boy Veldheer some help or he's gonna spend Sunday looking at the sky. God I wish I could figure out a way to send this post to Marcell.
  7. Yes EAST COAST. You lost every game you played East of the Mississippi last year. The Raider's record in the last 10 years on the east coast is one of the worst in football. You did beat the Chargers twice, congratulations. That seems to be the ONLY team you beat last year that didnt' suck out loud. You barely beat an autrocious Broncos team this year who was at the bottom of the league last year in almost every category last year. The Broncos were far worse than the Bills last year yet you just barely squeaked out a win. You're also conveniently overlooking the fact that you also LOST Zach Miller, Robert Gallery, Thomas Howard and most importantly Nnamdi Asomugha. Your "we beat quality teams argument is silly". If the Chiefs truly were a "pretender" last year then that makes the Raiders record look even worse. In fact, your entire season stands on 2 wins against the Chargers. Your wins are against St. Louis, Seattle, and two against Denver, the aforementioned worst team in the league. Seattle wasn't far behind. You are right though, the Bill weren't good last year. You'll find out tomorrow if they've improved but clearly, the Raiders have regressed.
  8. That would be true if your team was identical to last year as well as your opponents. Even then, drawing any kind of correlation would be very weak at best. The team you beat on Monday had the worst defense in the league last year. Using the "last year" argument means you should have crushed them and the Raiders barely won. Both teams are VERY different this year. The Raiders lost their best player in free agency. The Bills have upgrades virtually everywhere. I think the Raiders are on their way up but this is a bad weekend for them. Here's why: 1. The game is easy coast. 2. It was a short week, much less prep time 3. You have no WR's. Virtually none. 4. The Bills played a base defense last weekend, no info for prep 5. Your TE is hurt. 6. The Raider's offense is entirely one dimensional 7. The Bills defense is greatly improved. I don't think it will be a blowout but it wouldn't shock me if it was. Then again, I'm a Bills fan and I wouldn't be shocked if we somehow managed to lose by 20.
  9. Oddsmakers don't care if the teams are even, they want the people placing the bets to feel that way. The line is designed to split the house. For all we know the brains in Vegas could have the Bills winning by 20.
  10. I don't know if this has been posted or not but I just found it. The Fitzmagic video is hysterical! Fancy new tablets.... NSFW
  11. So the "experts" spend a week saying that KC will "crush" the Bills. The Bills stomp the Chiefs and now we get "KC isn't really that good and has a bad OL"
  12. Nix is on record as saying that the Bills will pay to retain their key player. They did that with Williams. Let's be just a little bit patient and save some hysterical outrage!
  13. That's what "good" teams are supposed to do. No one takes anythign away from the Patriots when they whopped our asses because they were a great team and we were a ****ty team. They did what they were supposed to do. As JW said, if we're 2-0 going into the Patriots game, we'll find out who's a contender and who's a pretender.
  14. Oh I absolutely wasn't comfortable with a 13 points lead! I'm not ready to annoint the Bills as a playoff contender. I think they'll beat the Raiders next week but the true test for me will be how they play against the Patriots. The Pats are the measuring stick in the division and will be a good gauage of where we are as a team. If the Bills can make a statement in that game then I will begin to believe we've turned the corner. My biggest issue with Sully isn't that he's critical of the team, it's that he very rarely has ANYTHING positive to say. Even the moderately knowledgable Bills fan could see that the team made huge improvements in the offseason. To not acknowledge that is disingenuous. Does anyone really believe that if the Bills won 12 games this year that Sully would admit he doesn't know WTF he's talking about.
  15. It demonstrates that people in the "media" aren't any more knowledgable than your average fan. They got their jobs because they can write, not because they're able to provide some deeper insightful and analysis on player capabilities. They aren't former players, coaches or scouts nor have they ever held a position with a professional football team. Their job is to write about the team. We want to falsely believe that they provide a higher level in insight. They may have slightly more information than your average fan but they haven't proven to be any more knowledgable.
  16. Before we get all warm and fuzzy with Sully, let me just remind you of a few of his quotes in his last few columns: "The Bills are still a bad team trying to become average. They don't have the overall talent or depth to compete on a consistent basis. They will need a lot of things to fall into place to approach the .500 level this year." "That's a lot of questions for a team that some critics are picking to challenge .500. I think they're still bottoming out" Those are both quotes from his column within the last month. To me, it's just a shining example of how little these guys who write about sports actually know.
  17. so i'm watching the jets forum, no posting but just watching their reactions and I find the following: "we could've used maybin there"
  18. It's an unfortunate side effect, likely from years of incest or sex with various animals. It is Missouri after all.
  19. The Bills came into this game with one defensive goal....stop the run. Everything else was secondary and they accomplished the goal! It may not show up in our stat sheets in the flashy numbers but it shows up in KC's lack of numbers.
  20. They just had a Gailey soundbite on WGR and he said something close to: We're not as bad as some people said we are and after this win some will put us on a pedestal and we're not there yet either. That is EXACTLY what I expected to hear from a coach who clearly knows his team and where they are.
