Really? I work with surgeons every day. Most of them, at least the really good ones, don't have a lot of time to sit back and watch football games. Between surgical rotations, meetings and rounds they're kinda busy. They tend to hang out with their peers and when they're not, they're usually absorbed with family stuff. That said, they don't spend their free time talking to internet message board goobers about their patients health. But by all means, press on.......

The 49er's were well on their way to rebuilding their team. They've drafted fairly well for the last 3-4 years and it's starting to pay dividends with a new coach.

If Nix and Gailey are fired this offseason you might as well bank on two or more losing seasons. You simply can't build a winning franchise if you insist on changing coaches and GM's every 3 years.

I'm willing to give them another year as a group with a full off season and mini-camps. Pears was widely referred to as a scrub here and has been a pleasant surprise. Wood and Levitre are rock solid. Bell is developing and Hairston is not far behind. Grab another couple of draft choices and perhaps a FA and lets see where we are.

Lets hope Stevie learns from this mistake and focuses all his energy on football. Sure his actions are stupid and over the top but he's still a young man and young men are often prone to making stupid mistakes. That said, I'm not sure I'm ready to break the bank to make the guy our #1 WR.

Maybe we'll see a number of two back set with CMack lead blocking for Spiller. Frankly, I don't know why we never seem to use a FB to lead block but if we can just get CJ a crease he's threat on every single play. CMack is a freaking beast and it wouldn't hurt to have him hitting Bart Scott in the mouth several times.

It's be stupid for the Bill not to claim him. He's better than Thigpen and if Chicago truly wants him then make them cough up a draft pick.

If you saw the Eagles/Giants game last night you'd notice a HUGE difference between their defenses and the Bills defense. The Eagles and the Giants are both able to get pressure on the opposing QB with just four down lineman. Everyone knows how good the Giants front 4 is and Phlly made Manning nuts last night rushing just four guys. We can't seem to get to the QB even when we bring blitz packages. I don't know if it's players or scheme but I'm leaning toward the former.

I'd just hire someone to take a picture of the Ravens draft board and then use that. They don't seem to miss on many.

Sure, we'll sign him to a huge contract and get two, maybe three games out of him before his hamstring explodes or he get hit. Whichever comes first. If we re-sign him I'll be SHOCKED if he makes it through training camp before going on IR.

I'm watching the Giants/Eagles game and the Giants defensive line just puzzles me. They're all tall and lean and look like LB's yet they play amazingly well. They look like they'd be giving up 200 yards a game on the ground yet they're a solid defense. I don't get it???

So that's what we're left with, waiting for the owner to die? As painful as it is to watch the Bills implode, I'm not ready to start rooting for someone to die so we can win more games.

Cowherd got ripped when he said this team was a pretender. His words may have hurt but it was the truth. This is a team of lower tier talent and we're getting lower tier production from them.

I've been through hell and back as a fan of this team. Yet I find myself growing very weary of waiting for improvement. Yeah, we had some amazing games in the beginning but if you look back, they were really miracle comebacks. I continue to ask myself why I continue to follow a team that stabs me in the heart year after year.

I don't disagree, any QB when rushed is going to make craptastic throws but even when he has time his throws are off. Hell the shovel pass he threw barely made it to Fred Jackson. Fitz has been terrible since he took that helmet to the chest.

How ironic, Fitz gets his deal and looks worse than Trent Edwards.
