  1. At least they waited until after the super bowl to party. That said, that's not going to make the hoodie happy. I'm sure he was out killing kittens after the game.
  2. I would really like to see Brady play like **** and the Pats lose big. It would be endlessly entertaining to watch the Pat's fans banter about cutting/trading Mr. Budchen.
  3. I love me some goofy Pete coaching. Sadly, I bet a lot of people here never saw Pete play. Speaking of former TE's, what ever happened to Jay Rearschmegma?
  4. Welker should thank God he's an NFL player because she's about 4 levels out of his league if he's a anything else. I didn't realize he was such a doofy looking dude.
  5. I really can't tell if this is a commentary on their season or a shot at Buffalo: "This is the greatest team that I've been on, and I feel like I let everybody down." Lee may be a nice guy but the reality remains, he was non-existent this year and dropped a pass that would've fulfilled his life long dream. In the end, he wasn't worth the 4th round pick the Ravens gave up for him.
  6. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/story/2012-01-21/former-penn-state-coach-joe-paterno-dead/52737230/1
  7. Looks like Smith and Davis are going to save Whitner's ass. I don't see either of these teams beating the Giants or the Packers.
  8. Whitner,....all tweet, no substance. He makes a half dozen plays every game and disappears when it matters. He was a ****ty safety when he was here, he's ****ty in SF. Seems only fitting that the Niners lost their first game of the season because of a ****ty play by Whitner, now they'll lose their last.
  9. Michael Philbin was sentenced to six months in jail in 2009 after he was convicted of sexually assaulting two young girls. Read more: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/football/nfl/01/09/mike-philbin-missing.ap/index.html#ixzz1j0PFJ5gnhat That statement came out of nowhere!
  10. Get injured less? Do the Broncos have 16 guys on IR? The Broncos win a lot of games late because the opposing teams CAN'T !@#$ING BREATH! Why this doesn't get talked about more often is beyond me. Elway was a great QB but I wonder how many of his comebacks wouldn't have happened if the Broncos didn't play at 6000ft asl.
  11. Is there anyone that doesn't have Andrew Luck slated as a first ballot hall of famer? This kid is getting so much praise, is there anyone that believes he isn't the second coming?
  12. Your knowledge and understanding of football is bad....really bad.
  13. This is a win-win for Sullivan. He can write an entire column bitching about Johnson to stir up readers. Then, next August, he can use his selective amnesia to write about how the Bills are cheap and don't resign their talent. I think the Bills should re-sign Johnson but not overpay for him. They should also put a clause in his contract with some hefty fines for stupidity.
  14. You'll be able to tell the age of Bills fans by how many "We should hire Polian" threads you see in the next few weeks. Those of you who remember how the story played out know that John Butler's got a better chance of coming back as GM than Polian. And for those of you who don't know who John Butler is, don't bother Googling his name because he's be dead for a while.
  15. Ironic, before the season the Jets players wouldn't shut up. Now that they missed the playoffs that don't have anything to say. Perhaps the players and their loudmouthed coach should talk less, play better?
  16. The most interesting part of Buddy's interview is a brief line he said about everyone "getting excited" at the early success. He said "I knew were weren't quite as far along as everybody thought we are" admitted that he knows the roster isn't there yet and the success was as much good fortune as talent. I still believe in Buddy and I think he and Chan know what they're doing and what they're building. Adding a few more pieces next year and there's a lot to build on. As popular as it may be to say "fire everyone" or "blow it up". I think we're moving in the right direction.
  17. If you believe that you FAIL to understand that that NFL is a business. The Toronto series offsets the revenue lost from lack of luxury boxes. Sure it sucks but it helps keep the Bills if Buffalo.
  18. Thurman Thomas called, he said you might want to rethink that. Kelly was great, but without Thomas picking up blitzes and forcing the LB's and DB's to constantly worry about him, Kelly's numbers would be no where near what they are. Not to mention, Thomas has a shitload of receiving yards and YAC.
  19. This just in, it's the last quarter of the NFL season and EVERY NFL PLAYER has at least two injuries. Playing hurt is part of the game. The simple fact that there is a debate about whether he should be re-signed tells you all you need to know. He's a talented WR but he's not even close to top 10. BUT, since the Bills have a complete talent void they should probably re-sign him.
  20. This could be great news. I hope the kid comes back strong! JoeB_WGR Joe Buscaglia Gailey said Easley would be cleared to play next year.
  21. Derek Hagan has been a member of the Bills for about a week and he has 11 catches for 114 yards. Lee Evans has been with the Ravens since game 1 of this season, he has 4 catches for 74 yards. Finding anyone that's better than Evan wouldn't be hard. Getting a 4th round pick for someone who can easily be replaced by anyone on any of the 32 practice squads is a freaking STEAL.
