Holy crap. Talk about a reversal of fortune. This offseason is going to be freaking nuts. There are sooo many free agents and a lot of good guys are getting cut. That's only if you use your picks for the wrong guys. Admittedly, that's easier said than done but if you pick the right guys, they're invaluable.

Only a Bills fan would come up with a post that complains about paying players based on their draft position rather than evaluating several years of their production.

I've never seen an alligator play LT but I'm positive that if you put a Nile crocodile there a lot of rushers wouldn't make it to Fitz.

You realize that isn't always the answer right? Washington and the Raiders have signed/traded a ton of guys, they both suck.

It's very easy to speculate what the Bills will do in free agency or during the draft. It's easy to come up with all kinds of scenarios but I think we might be guilty of over-thinking the issue. Ask yourself, what was the Bills biggest deficiency last season and the answer is painfully obvious. Pressure on the passer is an absolute MUST for this offseason. Whether it's from FA or the draft, the Bills simply MUST address our inability to put pressure on the QB.

It seems to me that there's a lot of noise building that the Bills are going to go after someone or a couple of someone's. They've clearly got a few targets that they're going to go after. I would be shocked if after FA they didn't have a least 2 guys that will be in the starting lineup in September.

Ralph is cheap! Buddy is doing EXACTLY what he said he would do. He's building through the draft and retaining the players that they have identified as "key".

I saw an player yesterday that did 11 reps on the bench. Granted, I don't think I could do 5, but how do you show up for the combine and bench half as many times as every other player out there at your position?

I think the bigger disconnect is between the fans perception of the game and the players. Sure the players want to win but to many of them it's a job. As fans we have HUGE emotional commitments to the team and as someone said earlier, we often suffer more.

That was kinda my point. I don't give a **** what the players do after the game, outside of being involved in a shooting ala Ray Lewis. The 90's Bills did way too much of their partying before the game.
