  1. I hate to be "that guy" but from those clips it looks like Fitz is throwing tighter spirals. During the OTA's everything I saw him throw was a wobbly mess.
  2. You should change the title to "Breaking News - This Post Isn't Worth Reading"! I hope you didn't you spend a lot of time on this.....
  3. Ron Brooks and Gillmore with be the starting CB's by the end of the year. McKelvin and Williams will likely see a lot of time in the nickle. I'm not sure if McGee has much left in the tank. I honestly believe that if Brooks didn't play for a LOADED LSU team last year that he would have projected as a 1st rounder.
  4. Well that pretty much guarantees that he'll finish the season on IR and the Panthers won't make the playoffs. Stupid move IMO.
  5. The Patriot offense is driven by timing, throw off that timing and Brady struggles. The best way to throw off that timing is to punch them in the mouth hard and early. The Patriots have the bigger problem IMO. They don't have the OL to block our DL man v man. That means one of Brady's toys (Welker, Gronk or Hernandez) is going to need to stay in and help. Honestly, it might take 2 addition guys to block our DL. I'm not talking about blitzes, I'm talking straight up base 4-3 defense. Double teams on Mario, Marcel and Kyle are going to require 6 OL. Good luck blocking the other side.
  6. I'm sure he reviews the questions he's going to ask Wanny before they do the interview. The guy is employed by the Bills so it's not a good career move to hammer the DC. Wanny will want his defense to be physical in camp. Don't forget, he coached alongside Jimmy Johnson for years and they were fans of full contact camps. That said, he always had a solid defense with Dallas and later with Miami.
  7. Hogboy, ICE, Crayonz, NJ Sue, The tool that drives the Porche, Frittata guy & SDS. Only because I'd want to make Scott sit there with them for an entire dinner!
  8. I could listen to Buddy all day long. God I love where he's taking this team.
  9. Very sorry for your loss Guff. Please accept my condolences.
  10. Holy crap, Bayberry plaza is literally 5 minutes from my house. If I had purchased any tickets I'd be all over this.
  11. This is as close to effusive praise as you're ever going to hear from Gailey: Gailey 'excited' by Shawne Merriman's offseason June 15, 2012 - 4:27 PM | 0 comments By Tim Graham But Gailey said this afternoon he was "excited about where [Merriman] is physically -- really physically and mentally because he's come out every day with an outlook that's just outstanding." "He works hard. He looks quick. He looks healthy," Gailey continued. "That part of it has been refreshing for us, to see some what of I think we're going to see is the old Shawne Merriman this year."
  12. If she tells you anything she'd be violating the HIPPA act.
  13. The competition for positions on this team is going to make everyone better.
  14. I won't argue with Coach Gailey about Kelsay, he's forgotten more about football than I'll ever know. We don't have the luxury of watching and dissecting thousands of snaps to determine the quality of a player, We don't know the schemes or what a particular player is being asked to do. What we do know is that Kelsay has survived 4 different head coaches and still remains the starter. If the guy was terrible then there's no way he would have made it through all that turmoil. I think this could be a special year for Kelsay. With Marcel, Kyle and Mario on the line, he'll have more opportunity to make plays than ever before.
  15. I'm comfortable after our off-season that a number of OC's are going to be worried about our defense. I tend to think that right now Tony Sparano is thinking: "how in the hell do I stop the Bills defense"? There are literally 4 guys (if healthy) on the DL that demand a double team. He's got 5 OL and he'll need eight. I like our odds. At a minimum he'll have to double Marcel Dareus and Mario Williams. Good luck Tony!
  16. I know there were signifcant changes with the new CBA. How much contact is allowed at these OTA's?
  17. Could we please finish a winning season and at least make the playoffs before we start anointing people. Sheeesh.
  18. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Carrington might have a big year. He played adequate as a 3-4 LB rotation and I think he could be something special as a DE.
  19. Weird, seems very few others feel this way. I'd suggest you listen to this. http://audio.wgr550.com/a/56300546/5-12-david-boclair.htm?pageid=401027 "born leaders" aren't known to throw their gear into the crowd after they play like crap.
  20. I think you'll see something like this: LT: Glenn (S), Hairston LG: Levitre (S), Rinehart/Asper C: Wood (S), Brown/Asper RG: Urbik (S), Rinehart/Jasper? RT: Pears (S), Sanders One thing is perfectly clear, Nix didn't feel like our OL was anywhere near big enough and he's made changes to correct that. It makes me think that Buddy's initial assessmen to this roster was pretty low. He knew it would take at least 3 years and he's been spot on with everything he's said. John's spot on, Sanders has great foot speed. If anyone's interested, here's their workouts: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine/09000d5d827c99c3/2012-combine-workout-Cordy-Glenn http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine/09000d5d827d1f3e/2012-combine-workout-Zebrie-Sanders
  21. Want to stop defenders from leading with their helmets? GET RID OF THE DAMN HELMETS. Teach players to tackle with their shoulders again. Rugby and Australian rules football are every bit as violent as the NFL and they have a fraction of the concussions. The players would love it because their stupid faces would be on TV all the time!
  22. How many rings and SB appearances does Brady have again? FIVE I realize its fun to hate on the guy who is married to a super model, but the dude is a great QB and there isn't a Bills homer on this board that wouldn't LOVE to be him. I pray that Fitz plays in FIVE SB's.
  23. I think Greggo's career in the NFL is over.
  24. Florence was also one of the first players to go nuts on Twitter when the Bills released Lee Evans. I'm sure that wasn't lost on Mr. Nix or Mr. Brandon. His play didn't justify his salary so either he was due a roster bonus or they're making room for someone else. Perhaps and offer to Young? Remember the famous youtube video where he made Sanchez flinch? Yeah, Sanchez flinched, then pushed Drayton 14 yards downfield. He responded by taking a penalty. Pure genius! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2iFLQqpDlI&feature=youtube_gdata_player
