I believe he is saying it has to start with him. The winning mentality and not just a playing mentality is what he is trying to coach. I dont have an issue at all with that quote. Of course I read it with a mindset that he is the coach for the forseable future and as a Bills fan I am rooting for him to succeed. Not so much on this board.

I read to whole article...well untill I got to the part where her studied the life of Noam Chomsky who is a liberal socialist. I dont respect his reasoning. there are people in this country that do much more dangerous jobs with muck lower payout. They do it because they have a desire to supply for their family. Take our Us or Canadian Military personel for example. Much more dangerous and they dont get paid what he did. This I believe may be due to his socialist leaning which teaches that you shouldnt take too much of the pie. I believe he is making this decision by a faulty mindset of what about my needs. When you walk away from a team there are alot of others needs you need to be focused on. After the season is over would be acceptable in my opinion. Just my two cents

found this. While I want to say it was a catch I hate to admit it that it wasnt. He was still moving. While in real life he caught it in NFL rules he didnt catch the ball. s is the official rule on receptions in the NFL: "If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball after he touches the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete." Basically what that means is simple. If a player goes to the ground while in the process of making a catch, he must control the ball all the way through until his momentum from the fall ends. If at any point before his momentum stops he loses control of the ball and it touches the ground, the pass is incomplete. So if he was still moving on the ground he didnt complete it. Makes me sad!

My thoughts exactly. Everybody is upset Thad isnt playing. Saying stuff likr he is tough and stuff. I dont care how tough you are as a QB if you cant get completions and cant protect the ball I dont want you throwing for me. Thad laid a big egg last week.

I picked 4-1 but that just lets them work EJ back slowly but they will put him back in. I think of it as more of a Jim Kelly / Frank Reich situation we have brewing here.

I agree with you and not just because you have so many posts but you make sense! Id love to agree with you but I would probably get in trouble because you dont have enough posts. but makes sense.

here is my concern. we have two kids that know the play book. All the others have no clue. Sign somebody like Freeman or Tebow or Vy with the plan of starting Tuel next sunday. Let the other Vetran take the next two/weeks to learn the book. . Who knows Tuel/with a full week of work may work out. We are getting some needed returns on our secondary this week so I think we will be keeping Cincy low in the points catagory.

It took 42 posts before I saw this reply. Freddy, Choice for Browns game would be perfict with a touch of Spiller. 10 days till next game. Dont bench him, rest him and his ankle. We cant afford for Fred or Spiller to go down. I for one was nervous when they both were hobbling last week. They didnt play as well on Offenceafter that.
