Yeah I think he will as well. I try not to be too excited about this guy but some things I saw against the Bears you just can't ignore. Plays like he has been in the league for years and he will probably only get better. I mean he was ripping through double teams like nothing and has some good aggressive moves to break the double team. I'm glad both teams passed on him. How has Miller looked?

I think Gailey felt with a new coaching staff Marshawn would explode and show his true potential. But as the year went on Marshawn probably didn't want to be here so Nix/Gailey moved on. I think it's as simple as that. Also it was smart to at least give him a try and see how he performs but it was clear he didn't want any part of Buffalo. Last year was kind of a long preseason. They saw what Trent could do first hand which was nothing and let him go as well. For the first time in a long time I actually have faith in the front office.

How much more of Trent Edwards do we have to see that this guy sucks ass. Seriously he looks scared out there.

I agree... We had Dick Jauron as our coach for crying out loud. I have more faith in Gailey and Nix.

Well they will definitely get their chance seeing as how Jauron refused to play them and T.O. is gone now.

I can... There is only so much you can learn while sitting on the bench. You need real live action to learn the little things it takes to be a good QB.

Those are some of his strong points. He has very good pocket awareness. He is evasive in the pocket and able to throw on the run. He seems to read defenses well. His main problem is accuracy. That could probably be due to lack of time with the starters though to work on timing. We will see.

This is my first post here. I usually post on the other message board. I'm not sure what to think about Fitzpatrick at the moment. The guy is 26 years old with only 15 starts. Edwards has around 29 starts I think. So there is still some upside. If he could just work on his accuracy he could be a good QB. When I saw him catch the Jets with too many men on the field with a quick snap I thought I was watching Manning. He is also willing to throw into double coverage. There was an article saying how he was changing to plays that wasn't even in the gameplan. That is amazing seeing as how this is his first year with the team and Edwards 3rd year with the team. Shouldn't Edwards do that? Anyways I don't know what to think because he is still young. Some people act like he has been in this league for 10+ years and hasn't done a thing. Some times all it takes is luck to find that QB. Fitz looks like he wants to win, and with him in the game the energy of the offense was different with him in.
