Nobody wants that job unless it's written in their contract that they can't be fired for 2 years, at minimum. No cap at all, dead cap everywhere, aging/average players everywhere.
I understand there are only 32 of these jobs but why would you bet your career on turning it around when you have nothing other than draft picks to make your team better (and the GM will probably trade those away too so they don't have to sign rookies and hurt their cap more)?
