Right now you just bring him in to make a straight line for the QB every few plays. (Only because he missed all of camp). You can expect more outa him as the season goes on but especially next year. His ceiling being a Shaun Ellis type.

Let Dareus's Dumb a$$$ sit the next to weeks out. Learn from our past mistakes of rushing players back (Mccoy and A. Willaims last year). Have him healthy for the patsies.

I am not the worlds biggest Goodwin fan and quite frankly go into partial shock when I see him out there healthy on the field after week 2. I will say this though, he seems to always be open when he is thrown to. If Tyrod would stop missing him by 5 yards every time we would be more impressed by Goodwin.

Im just saying why give ourselves salary cap issues that we don't have to have. I am comfortable going into next year with Darby, White, Robey, Seymour, and say a third rounder. Rather than give another huge contract to a player with questionable heart. I think he is a top 20 CB or so but he wants to get paid like a top 3. Not worth it. Let's take a page out of the patsies non cheating chapter of their book here and have enough confidence that our coaches can coach players up rather than back up the bank truck.

I base it on the fact that he is a top blocking receiver who is also a capable of having an impact in the passing game. He will not make any less than 4-6 million on the open market. He could probably be an elite slot receiver. I don't think he's a great #1 or even 2. But could you imagine him on a team like pittsburgh or the patsies in the slot where he should be playing.

Besides the fact he was miserable the moment the Bills drafted him, he is in no way a leader on the defense, and he does not like to tackle these days. But the real reason is because we need to spend that $14-15 million a year on guys like Zach Brown id say 6 mill a year, Robert Woods 6 mill a year, and Lorenzo Alexander prob about 3 mill a year (due to his age). We can more than likely sign all 3 of these players for the price we can re-sign Gilmore. Plus we have good CB depth and Darby is a true # 1. It is good to keep your own productive players at the right price. We are already paying Glenn, Hughes, and Dareus huge money on long contracts not to mention McCoy and Clay. You can not load up on 10 mill plus contracts on your team. Dareus is a good example of why. And with Gilmore giving the Bryd treatment lately he is only one half assed injury from being a total waste of $. He is a talented CB but he is not worth the Bills keeping at anywhere near the price they would have to pay.

I think it all depends if we get an unbiased pats ref crew like we finally did week 4. If it is hochuli, coleman, or the guy who looks like a fat todd bridges we are prob sunk. All things being equal i think we will both be 5-2 going into the game and may the best team win.

When you look at Tyrod as a QB you have to take into account his running stats/threat of him running. He keeps defenses honest in a way QBs like Big Ben can't do (although he does it in his own way). So when you look at his 124 passing yards you have to remember what he did on the ground and how he kept the defense on their toes which makes it easier for McCoy to Get going. All of that being said I feel he is a middle of the pack QB. No better, no worst.
