  1. he couldnt get on the field bc he wasnt a 3rd rd draft pick by beane and is at his ceiling. although his ceiling is much better than any perceived potential of DS by the FO
  2. not clear. just as easy to say RBs dont hit hole fast enough get past first line fast enough so our O L can get to 2nd level. prob is not using picks on players. prob is using 3rd rounders on players that dont make a difference. i dont necessarily think DS is THE problem ... hes just upgradable and if a way to save money by getting rid of him then do it
  3. i think richard rogers is great value for a TE https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/tight-end/ also looking at that list. kroft contract so bad
  4. people get so mad if you mention the word "cut" and their "favorite player x" they dont bother reading anything more
  5. Time for Senior Bowl
  6. yea just thinking out loud. didnt know about the 51 / 52 roster thing. just get better players and get rid of ones you wont use going forward if save money lol thats what i think. He used to be really elusive. but now in the open field he pretty much goes down immediately with the first defender. honestly his best quaility is hes a tough runner up the middle. but not better than average RBs
  7. thank you
  8. dont know how you evaluate "team sucks" at running screens. teams consistnely are throwing the ball into the ground when its blown up. im saying juicy - when theres no one around him
  9. 100% agree. beane and McD will hold on to "Their" guys too much. nate peterman. any carolina panther. that trade for benjamin was awful. theyll hold onto edmunds too and keep spouting 22 and young (i mean i hope he turns into a stud) but yea. thats my overall point. Ruthless. i love that beane kept repeating "be honest with ourselves"
  10. felton is projected to be a 4th rounder.... also every year you are paying rookies- its a fixed cost each year
  11. i think anyone whos posting about cutting players is implying/assuming that they are replacing/filling and upgrading. now on gameday when a player makes a bad play and the response is "cut him" then thats horse poo comment
  12. right like giving him juicy screen passes - he either drops them or he gets tackled with the first defender
  13. yea its been apparent. not sure the refs hate him. BUT he gets held and cant fight through it. and doesnt get the calls. not a knock on him its just the effectiveness of him as a player and his cost dont add up
  14. im not so sure anymore. Singletary was the unquestionable starter at the end of last year. and the beginning of this year. Moss then became our starter. hows singletary as a blocker - honest question - i think hes better than you would think. BUT beane can draft and sign an UDFA rookie that better. TEAMS every year do this
  15. what was SUPER noticeable this year (and of past couple) is jerry gets held a lot (credit to him - he beats his guy) but the NFL arent calling holding anymore. ALSO - jerry MISSES tackles. A lot. He doesnt do a great job of bringing QBs or RBs down when has the chance.
  16. i guess i posted a video a video of felton. if you draft felton , have moss, and thats all you do w RB, keep devin and then based on undrafted rookies or a cheaper vet / would cut devin. I would bet Beane can find an UDFA rookie thats better i had felton as replacing
  17. he absolutely cant play special teams...... where?
  18. not at all. he makes 1.1 million. and would save 500K in cap space. we can do better. He had insane production in college. but hes too slow/small. i think my biggest issues with him is - his lack of pass catching/and hes not making people miss in the open field.
  19. love these posts. i would love to cut all of them. but hughes and addison will need to keep one unless they can sign a vet for cheaper and draft another. Then you will have to rely on D Johnson, AJ, vet and rookie. its a gamble for sure. but gotta make tough decisions. Would jerry re do contract?
  20. why? it saves money. its not reactionary. if we didnt draft or sign any RBs yea he can stay. but we have to be ruthless with our roster. time to be honest as beane has said https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2021-nfl-draft-pff-top-running-backs
  21. im not saying cut him now. just thats hes totally cut-able. obviously need replacements/upgrades. and if it allows us money to keep or sign other players. im all for it
  22. yea. but i dont need him on my team anymore. need to pinch pennies.
  23. im evaluating him the whole season. hes just completely upgradable. this guy felton seems to be able to replace a lot of players. time after time our running plays dont work cuz the RBs cant get through the hole and past first line defenders fast enough.
  24. Saves us 1.1 million https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/devin-singletary-29110/ Draft this guy. Felton. Converted slot WR > now a RB. Let McKenzie and Roberts walk. This guy is a RB/slot WR/ kick returner all in one. Gotta be ruthless
