The Chiefs mvps don’t like getting called out for favoritism

Not even a review or a challenge? The NFL isn’t a sports league it’s an entertainment corporation

Anyone else in disbelief as they let the first Marvin Harrison Jr TD catch stand even though the ball moved throughout?

ILLEGAL ALIEN Menu: Dogs, Cats And Geese
benderbender replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Hold up. Wait. We're debating whether 20k Haitians, with protected status, who are receiving medicare funds, that were flown into the middle of the country bypassing the border, are eating pets? And the main focus of the question is the pets? Not the every other part of the question? -
Couldn't tell who they were. They didn't want to show ID or roll down the window

Everyone can argue his injury rating on Madden should be 40. Don’t get me wrong, everyone would love to be pleasantly surprised if he had his breakout season. But I think we’re collectively struck by the irony of Spector actually being the healthy one at the moment.

How about we show this replay on repeat?

Had to do it.

The timing couldn't be more suspicious. After years of defending the worst contract in the NFL, trying to diminish and minimize the protests at his signing, there's suddenly an onslaught of lawsuits? Too convenient for ownership who suddenly want to move on. Browns fans don't deserve it, but ownership deserves this contract. The NFLPA should fight the Haslem's attempting to wiggle out from the albatross PR disaster of a contract they more than willingly signed away their collective dignity for.
-
It’s as if society at large is finally waking up to the Deshaun Watson contract. I’ve said before that I’m surprised that Haslem wasn’t forced by the owners to sell his team after that contract. I didn’t know at the time that his professional life was going to mirror the carnage of his personal life. The injury last year seemed to delay the reality for Browns fans.

Did McDermott took over play calling in the 2nd half?
benderbender replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
The D had to learn to play without Taron Johnson and it took them a half. So at least they know going into Miami we can't just stay in Nickel and gameplan accordingly. -
Packers QB Jordan Love - sprained MCL out 3-6 weeks
benderbender replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
You said there will not be a fine so a rule couldn't have been broken by that logic. There is a note under the roughing the passer section of the rulebook on NFL.com that says: A defender cannot initiate a roll or lunge and forcibly hit the passer in the knee area or below, even if he is being contacted by another player. -
Packers QB Jordan Love - sprained MCL out 3-6 weeks

The rules invented for Tom Brady only served the cheater himself. No penalty. A fine later in the week won't give the Packers their QB back for 6 games. -
The second one convinced me.

It's just sports. At the end of the day, it's not the most important thing in the world. But articles like this are why trust in the media is eroding. The curveball-like spin of that article get you this type of clickbait video claiming that Diggs is trying to "prove them wrong" for being traded when he asked to be traded. Not to mention he specifically said "“None of those teams [Minnesota or Buffalo] wanted to get rid of me. Things had to shake because I kind of wanted them to shake.”

I know what will pump up the crowd: a spelling bee! E A G L E S, er I mean R A V E N S, um I mean the other team.

Went to Acrisure Stadium to watch the preseason game against the Steelers for my first away game. Grateful for the win because I wasn't sure if my undefeated streak would translate outside Highmark. But aside from not seeing a touchdown live for the first time, I was shocked to see fans sitting down. Like with butts in their seats. Sure, when a play came to the sideline people stood to see, but momentarily. I asked the locals and they said aside from when they play Renegade or an exceptionally tense series at the end of the game, people get angry when you stand. The only home games I've been able to sit down at is when I was able to get a club seat, or the nosebleeds. The rest of the time, even in closer rows, I've had to stand. Is this just a WNY thing?

Long since maxed out on outrage on this general topic of streaming/a la carte services/mega conglomerates sniping at each other. This board has long ago had one too many posts of people who love their <insert whatever service du jure here> and are content to pay whatever highway robbery they demand. You literally have gotten what you've paid for. Netflix set the standard by increasing their prices almost 100% in a decade with most of that coming during the pandemic. Then, when they had a slight dip in subscribers post-pandemic, they raised prices again. Then just to pile on, they wanted to charge you for allowing your own family to watch with your login out of town. And for some reason, people played ball instead of cancelling en masse. Then Disney is following the same exact business model, and everyone is surprised about it. The NFL sent up a test balloon with Peacock and we all used the free trial to watch it, but some forgot to cancel so NBC made money. They said "gotcha" and now every streaming service is in on the bait and switch tactic. Watch Walmart+ will have a playoff exclusive game next year and you won't be able to watch preseason without at least Silver status ChickFila rewards app.
