  1. I said that you said that you said that I said I said that but I didn’t say that. You said that.
  2. It has been a long season. But it really seems that everyone (including McDermott) has forgotten all of the late/dirty hits from the previous Jets game. Josh Allen wasn’t the only target, they even took shots at our kicker. Typical Gregg Williams bounty hunting. This is why I believe the decision to play our starters has to be some kind of message of defiance.
  3. Seeing how the seeding won’t be affected, it seems there is more to lose than to gain by playing starters vs the Jets. Who is going to shoulder the blame for the possible (heaven forbid) injuries?
  4. That’s something that’s always bothered me about leg injuries. Why is anyone walking off AT ALL? Every player with a lower body injury should be carted If only to prevent further injury.
  5. I’d like to think he’s been with us the whole time
  6. As someone who listens to the DLSwS regularly (which is pretty much the show prep for Highly Questionable), this is coming out of nowhere. I enjoy the show because the format is “kind of sports, but not specifically.” LeBatard has made his entire career on race and scandal. His bread has always been buttered on the side. So when Lamar Jackson is the presumptive MVP, he is in hog heaven berating the Bill Polians of the world and injecting subtle accusations of racism. He’s also not a fan of the NFL. You can tell his show prep is the NFL scroll on the ESPN website. And again, Josh Allen doesn’t fit his racial/scandal narrative. This take almost feels like a tantrum for having to discuss Buffalo in a serious way.
  7. The real record setting is going to be when none of the Ravens play in the Pro Bowl because...wait why does anyone play in the Pro Bowl again? A free vacation? Especially in the age of player empowerment and resting players, why does anyone risk injury?
  8. I’m so with you brother. I live in VA but grew up in Rochester. For so many years I’ve had to break out the “okay so if we win out and 6 other teams lose, we might make the playoffs” scenarios. This year she said “so...who has to lose so the Bills get in?” and I just hugged her. Btw I couldn’t help but be proud of the Mafia in Richmond and Norfolk on Sunday Night.
  9. Asking how much the guilty party benefited is tantamount to asking a cheating spouse if they climaxed. Sure, you can wonder. But it’s really beside the point and definitely won’t make it hurt any less.
  10. That was exactly my train of thought. The last thing they need is more help
  11. Love his gamesmanship. He is underrated to our great advantage. But I do hope he recovers from those busted ankles.
  12. I’d like to call him Because sometimes you say it in a “I can’t believe he did that” incredulous kind of way. And the other times you say it in an exasperated way.
  13. Can we start a throat lozenge donation program or gofundme account dedicated to the support of home fans crowd noise? In games like today we need the 12th man.
  14. Virginia Beach held the title of southernmost Wegmans location until the Raleigh NC store opened this September. Having grown up in Rochester, was nice to see quite a few Bills logos in the crowd when it opened. It’s a little too far from me to shop at regularly, but their prices weren’t outrageous as I keep hearing. This from someone who refuses to pay $8 for a small jar of peanut butter at Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. Maybe It’s just the differences in taxes or interstate whatnot.
  15. The most annoying thing about that draft was hearing so many different sites mention Josh Allen as the presumptive number 1 quarterback to be taken. Then a few days out, it leaked that someone was taking Baker Mayfield first and suddenly Allen was universally panned as a good selection. Seemingly overnight our pick went from brilliant to meh. I did see many sites predicting we take Jackson based mostly on our Tyrod history.
  16. Made two long shot bets with the only winnings I had in Vegas this summer. Buffalo to win the Super Bowl at +1000 and Redskins to make the playoffs at +850.
