  1. A veteran CB? On the depth chart it lists Dane Jackson as backup for CB1 and CB2. Not sure what the strategy is for keeping so few CBs on the roster. Miami has 13.
  2. Dayyyo dayyyo everybody’s going to the Mighty Taco
  3. My classroom that year had a Bo Jackson poster. . I remember classmates telling me that Buffalo was screwed because they had: 2 sport superstar Bo Jackson SB champ Marcus Allen SB champ Roger Craig SB and World Champion relay runner Willie Gault Future hall of famer Howie Long SB champion Ronnie Lott
  4. I was sold on Phillips being an emotional leader on defense. He as always trying to pump up the crowd to get loud. At the Redskins game in 2019, he was personally responsible for me losing my voice. Not as much that I was cheering so wildly as much as we couldn't figure out how to stop Adrian Peterson until the 2nd half, and even then we kept giving them the ball back (not to mention Bojo shanked the worst punt I've ever seen live, and I saw many high school football games). I think they only converted two 3rd down conversions. It felt like we had to make noise like 22 times on third down. I was hearing the train noise in my sleep. But Beane and Co made the right decision on this one.
  5. I was excited about the Knox/Hollister combo. They’re both tall and relatively fast. Not on the Hernandez/Gronk level but our 2 TE looks would have at least made defenses think for an extra second about coverages. We’ve seen Sweeney. Here’s hoping Gilliam can be the first hybrid FB/TE. Or our secret weapon in Morris is a quick study.
  6. Microsoft Michel has better specs but less exclusives
  7. I forget, how many teams are supposed to regret not drafting him? And is that minus the 5 teams he’s already been on?
  8. I was comfortable moving on from Roberts when we thought Mackenzie has his dropsies under control. But seeing as how it’s part of his game, I’d be okay with a 6th or 7th rounder to lose the TD return possibilities but to gain the ball security smarter decision making. When it comes down to it, Allen and company are what gets points, not returns.
  9. They still have haven’t pinned a single Fitz thread like I suggested years ago. The response at the time was something like, “there aren’t THAT many Fitz threads every season.” Here is proof they won’t end. To the Bill Braskey of TBD.
  10. Had Directv last year. Tried to take the advise of the rep who signed me up and TBD tried to haggle. Ended up cancelling the service altogether because of their terrible customer service reps. The worst was I didn’t even get a respectable “please come back” offer. Back to the pirate life for me. I miss the service. It was high quality. But the price just isn’t worth it. I’ll sail the stormy digital seas and pretend i’m paying myself $18.75 a game.
  11. With the way our backup OL is whiffing, they’ll have the ball back twice
  12. He’s following in Fitzpatrick’s footsteps! If he starts wearing his wedding ring…
  13. Although he's wearing our laundry, I think there is still residual subconscious dislike for Jones from the Texans game. It gets mentioned every time he's talked about. If he had a resume of great plays with us, it would be easier to forget but his role on special teams doesn't get him any extra attention. Seems to me that most fans either don't know him, or dislike him. Why else would anyone talk about dropping him for a rarely used PS hero?
  14. Got a very enthusiastic “Go Bills!” from a guy at a Yorktown, VA Walmart. Walking out to my car. I can only assume this was his car in the parking lot
  15. There’s no such thing as “enough.” The proof is John Cena. Net worth above 60 million and still sacrificed his dignity for the chance at future earnings.
  16. I dig the Hollister/Knox combo. I don't have sky high hopes of a Gronk/Hernandez type or even a overpriced new version of what NE is trying to reinstall with their pre owned new to you free agency sales event. Perhaps they can have just enough speed and hold their blocks just long enough to make the opposing defense actually bother to gameplay for our TE corps for a change.
  17. I'm rooting for Wade. He has more experience against 15 defenders than our entire RB room has against 11. He's explosive and elusive. We don't have two backs with those attributes. On the other hand he's had two years to learn to block or a ST skill. If he can't make a case for himself over 2nd year underachievers or a journeyman speedster, then cheerio to him.
  18. I would have upgraded to a better podcast in the draft
  19. Was Rodgers ever really gruntled with the Packers?
