I’m no OC but how about do what flat footed Tom Brady does when opposing D gets pressure and throw a slant or a screen every now and then? Or do the old Denver staple Shannahan roll out? Worked for Elway/Manning long after they were mobile enough to scare you with a scramble. Seems to be plenty of options available scheme wise.

As with politics, we need a heavy dose of meet in the middle. The sky is not falling, but the "we're still a SB team" expectations needs to be re-evaluated. The drought should have taught us to not get too high or low on this team. Also this team has an annoying, yet necessary habit of forcing me to remember what is most important on game days: the ride, and who you take it with.

Lost 3 of the last 5. Haven't won consecutive games since mid-October. Got blown out and ran all over. The Bills possibly even lost you a game in your fantasy league to whomever had Taylor in their lineup. But gosh darn it, the team store/Fanatics/etc is going to try and send you an email promoting all their new gear. Not sure if tone deaf or just abject optimism. Try to take your mind off the numbing loss by focusing on the upcoming holidays perhaps? Either way, I hope they do sell their gear and make their quota. I still Billieve. My only suggestion would be to discount after a loss instead of only after a win. Maybe sales on clearance jerseys? A cross promotion with the Sabres shop to get rid of all the Eichel gear? My tip: the cheaper the jersey, the easier to repurpose the name on the backplate.

He's under contract through 2025 so unless we'd like to pay yet another coach for the privilege to not coach for us, he's not going anywhere.

It's all about reconfiguring expectations. Most had deep playoff aspirations and a number one seed. Now that our warts are exposed, we should all be merely hoping for the playoffs. We're currenlty the 6th and possibly the 7th seed by the end of the night. So just like every drought year, we're back to wishing to run the table to keep us in the hunt. I can't quit this team. If the drought couldn't break me, nothing will. But let's at least be reasonable. Every loss we take from here on out, we have to pray that others lose as well and odds are, we've got at least one more loss coming. There's no time to "get hot."

We've only spent 35 million on the DL. I'm not sure if calendars work the same way in all places, but there's only 7 more games left. And we're the 6th seed currently. Our playoff push needs to be now.

What exactly looked like a playoff team to you? The field in the AFC is too tight to pencil us in as a playoff team. Best to lower expections and be pleasantly surpised if things go well.

It didn’t rain during the WFT game. The weather reports kept calling for it, but I actually got a sunburn with all the breaks in the cloud over. I didn’t use sunscreen specifically because of the forecast. The cloudiest it got was that gusty patch in the 2nd quarter with the crazy kickoff WFT recovered.

Could we just have the Colts visit and Taylor stay home?

Judging by the reactions so far, it would seem prudent to take every snap in the punt formation and pooch kick it every now and then on 3rd to keep them guessing.
