Tochinoshin Tsuyoshi just officially retired last week. The only sumo i’d ever looked up before. Now it seems the Japanese don’t dominate their own sport just like Canadians and hockey.

Will they make him shower separately? Everyone seems to forget that he admitted to having at least one STD on the phone call with his accuser.

The dumbest rule in the NFL: New rule change
benderbender replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
The number one injury type is knee injury. This can be addressed by the number one contributor to that type of injury: the field composition. Instead of lessening the most prevalent type of injury, they’ve focused on a possible 7% reduction in concussion only on kickoffs. -
I meant an indictment on the current Madden game when it comes to playability/fun. NCAA14 still has a PC community with updated rosters. It seems that at some point EA made the conscious decision to make the game "look real" at any cost. It's almost as if NCAA programmed players independently and gave you enormous freedom of movement but the cost was a few glitches where the physics didn't make sense (i.e. you leap at a pile at full speed and get stood straight up). Now the current gen focuses mostly on the player interactions, and you're not allowed to select any player and move them anywhere (i.e. moving Von to either side of the C for a stacked FG block attempt. There's a laundry list of complaints like the current Madden won't allow you to move DL away from the LOS on defense preplay. Or be any player for blocking (on pass plays). When you're a runner, you get sucked into other players for contact interactions. QBs are magnetized to the backfield and its a struggle to scramble even with a QB Allen. And not being able to co-op franchise mode was criminal. What's funny is that back in the day, NCAA and Madden usually had the same development team and they used to fix issues they found in post production NCAA in early July by the time Madden came out in mid-August. But having the same set of eyes on it might have been what caused it to become complacent.

The biggest indictment on the current Madden franchise is when EA got the data that people were still playing NCAA 2014. And popular streamers were getting good views as well.

I think if Jim Nantz shouted, I would be startled.

As someone who enjoyed both the movie Mars Attacks, and old NFL highlight films this was a double whammy. RIP

We just got through paying $9 for non-free range, unstressed, de-caged, fed a vegan diet, soothed with a bedtime story nightly, chicken eggs. And the news says we're getting "cheap" gas at the moment because it's expected to get back to $4 a gallon on the east coast by summer. So yep, the prices are going to be at least an arm and not quite a leg this season.

The question of ownership of the defense was the first crack in the wall. Why couldn't they just say it was Frazier's and move on? Just like Edmunds, the true worth of Frazier will be based on this season without them. But if Frazier is gone, it was brutal. 13 seconds kept him from getting the Bears HC job, then Cinci kicked his remaining prospects while they were down. Coming back would have AFCCG or bust level expectations and who needs that at 64?

I’m not familiar with the particulars of both cases but I’m hoping the sages of the board can tell me why Riggs is getting jail for one human and dog fatality, but Jaylen Carter gets a misdemeanor for two deaths?

The Bills cut ties with him for this very reason. It was never guilt or innocence, it was the media circus and the unnecessary attention it brought.

Same song. Heard it before when it featured Greg Olsen. -

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
benderbender replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was over the media speculation about Diggs when they suggested we'd trade Stefon to Dallas, when Dallas would be better off trading Trevon to us. -
"If you purchase a pre-season NFL Sunday Ticket package, your purchase is nonrefundable. Additionally, if you purchase the YouTube TV NFL Sunday Ticket/NFL Sunday Ticket with RedZone package, you must also keep an active YouTube TV subscription until, and throughout, the 2023-2024 regular NFL season to keep watching NFL Sunday Ticket." Watch us get scheduled for 6 prime time games this year. Better spring for the RedZone so at least you can watch what you paid for.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
benderbender replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do we really want DeAndre? Or are we just scared of what other team will get him? -
Ralph is Cheap. Terry... not so much
benderbender replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
They wrecked the QB market, most certainly ensured the next labor contact will drag out on guaranteed contacts, manipulated the NFL's personal conduct disciplinary system, and apart from a few small protests, have paid zero consequences for it. -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
benderbender replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Franchise tagging Lamar is not a favor to him, so why do you keep bringing it up as if it were? -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
benderbender replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
We should have franchise tagged Josh to show how much we valued him as a franchise QB? Or do you really think they used the tag as a last-ditch effort to negotiate 6 more months longer than the two years they've been "talking?" Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Lamar sit out the season and get a nice vacation like Deshaun Watson did. But the Ravens are starting to smell less like roses at this rate. -

They have money for OBJ but not their franchise QB
