  1. Gailey seemed to find those plays with uncanny frequency. What luck!
  2. They key factor being a Peyton Manning heir of a QB. Just goes to show what every Fitz apologist denies: all you really need is a good QB to win in the NFL. Luck on our roster would net 10 wins too.
  3. I feel an Aaron Schobel-like yearly foot thread just like the old days. That fast first step is the first to go.
  4. Much like Tony Romo, Phillip Rivers gets a pass because of his stats are usually good. I feel the same about both because both choke when you need them the most. That fumbled snap/game giveaway against KC that one MNF let me close the book on him.
  5. Tampa 2 only gets you to 10-6, we don't need that here
  6. So we should start hiring coaches based on the color of their skin? I, for one, would suggest judging them instead by the content of their character.
  7. With this team, you can't help but temper your optimism. 2 seasons ago it was 4-1, a season ago it was 6-2, this year it was Mario and the defense that only tried weeks 2,3,9-13. Past experience dictates you shoot down every pie in the sky optimist lest you let this backstabbing team build you up for another disappointment. That being said with no meddling owner, a decent coach signing and a competent QB drafted, my tone might change.
  8. It is a good idea. If professional hockey is ever played again. Now that the target audience has more time to watch basketball, good luck gaining new fans NHL. I hope the lockout is worth the hit in popularity.
  9. It can only go up from here. Coaches matter, drafting matters, but it would appear the anchor previous regimes had to drag has been cut loose. For me it was RW's statement to the press about "runners" and "TEs that don't get injured," clearly demonstrated that his knack for modern football wasn't up to par with those under 94. I for one wish Ralph Wilson would have done this years ago and enjoyed his wealth without concerning himself with football operations. I can now wish him well.
  10. Need I repeat that the BEST thing that could happen this season would be new ownership. I hope the rumors are true. It would be the Christmas present I always wanted but never got.
  11. If Ralph is stepping down or selling the team, I take back every distasteful comment I've made about him. I'll be so grateful, I won't even complain that he should have done it 20 years earlier.
  12. Woulda coulda shoulda is the mantra for this team.
  13. All revenues go to keeping the Cyptkeeper alive with a fresh batch of stem cells daily.
  14. A good QB could at least offset bad coaching. There were a few games that we could have won despite Chan's wizardry
  15. You don't have to sack Fitzpatrick for him to make bad throws
  16. Yeah, Gailey's done wonders this season. How dare people root against him.
  17. I understand the mindset: why pat our guys on the back when they can't win an easy schedule?
  18. Gailey's failings this year are in play calling, halftime adjustments, and special teams/clock management.
  19. I just watched Ace Ventura for the first time in a long time and I still dislike Dan Marino. Laces out Dan!
  20. Everyone and their mom knew Tebow was a bad idea. At least one QB would be alienated. How they managed to piss off 2/3 of their QBs is just hilarious. That being said, any one of their 3 QBs could outperform Fitz in accuracy and the deep ball.
  21. Winning on the road would be an insult to the fans who paid for seats to see them lose at home
  22. The sad part is that the Cryptkeeper will probably outlive the agreement if there is one.
  23. I'd like to see him drop as many passes for them as he did for us. I feel for him because if we had an accurate QB, he might still be here. But you can't blame every dropped pass on Fitz.
