When the logic for backup QB is “it doesn’t matter because if Josh is hurt we’re screwed anyway,” why would the punter expectations/qualifications be any different?
The only posters I believe are truly immune to ads are the ones from the Sunday Ticket, Amazon, Netflix, NFL+, Paramount+, Amazon, and Peacock threads.
I’m also not super enthusiastic for the season after Saturday. Watched Mahomes on the Acrisure Stadium jumbotron throw backyard behind the back passes while playing a full half to find our coach thinks our QB can’t play a single snap on slightly moist turf. The most valuable asset in the NFL was loose and had fun, while our QB was in moisture lock because he might get a boo boo.
You know, against a quarter and change of Russell Wilson and the rest of the game against Fields who danced the lambada all over the place. But then Tomlin must be just a gambler, right?
It’s wild that so many people read that he has STDs, or rather that definitely had a STD and probably gave it to someone, and they think “I want this guy showering with my favorite team.”
12 would count on Knox being in the lineup consistently. Believe me, I'm hoping. But he's definitely not the sturdiest. Perhaps could actually be the hurt-iest. I'd place bets on Kincaid and Davidson if he makes the 53.
How were we supposed to evaluate our first team WRs without the starter to throw to them? It was the waste of a game. You only get so many chances to practice under live fire and McD punted. Any guesses we have are just that because Trubisky was shell shocked before he injured himself.
McDermott failed from jump. His decision to not play Josh a single snap gave the second half to DiNucci by default but he didn’t plan on Trubisky crapping the bed and hurting himself. Now we need another QB AND didn’t get the first team any meaningful reps against an AFC contender.
