It seems to me that purposely putting a 12th man on the field to eat up the clock is just as shady as faking an injury to stop the clock. I'm not necessarily saying they should put time back on but I don't think it can't be considered either.

Isn't there a penalty where time is run off the clock after the 2 minute warning if there is an injury and a team is out of time outs? Well if they can run time off the clock, why can't they put time back on the clock?

Fred has played on some really crappy Bilks teams over the last 3 seasons, and the only time he's "taken a dump" has been in the can. What makes you assume he would have tanked with the team?

He fractured his fibula. If all goes well he's out 6 weeks. If the Bills hadn't just been humiliated by 3 mediocre teams and were still realistically in the playoff hunt, I doubt he gets put on IR at all. While it might not be the wisest move fo FJ to play in the Pro Bowl, I can see why he'd want to. I think he's earned it from his play the previous 2 years as well. If he's healthy next year, I sure he'll be a shoo in.

Wow how are so many so down on this team already? If this team has shown us anything, it is that they will show up and compete with everyone. Yes they got smacked around pretty good by the Jets, but it was 3 -0 at halftime and a couple of bad calls gave the Jet 14 pts. I know people are disappointed but I know Chan will make adjustments and this team WILL play better in 3 weeks. Point I'm trying to make is this is not your 2008 squad. They will be competitivein EVERY game. That makes every game winnable and every game is loseable. This is the NFL after all. The reality is that Bills are as good as anyone in the AFC, and will be in the hunt for the playoffs right down to the wire. I know they have flaws but what te in the AFC doesn't ? I think 11-5 will get you into the playoffs in the AFC and 10-6 might. I don't believ 9-7 will. It's the mid point of the season and in the AFC there are really only 6 teams battling for 4 spots. The Bills have jus as good of a chance as 3 other teams at securing a playoff berth. The Bills are relevant again folks. Why can't you enjoy it?

But, but there is a media conspiracy to ignore the Bills and keep the people of Buffalo down. It only took leading the league in offense after 2 weeks to get people talking about us again. Amazing what playing good football will do. Hey Ralph, I bet if you made the playoffs you could raise ticket prices to the league average, sell out all the games, and make a bigger profit. We'd all be happier. Hell maybe if we won a Superbowl, I bet a lot of rich Toronto corporations would pay top dollar for luxury boxes. This inturn would increase the value of your team so when you kick it, your heirs get more money. I guess what I'm saying is winning cures all things in the NFL. Amen.

The guy has been money ever since last year. He's 6-5, runs great routes and catches everything thrown to him. He doesn't have breakaway speed, but make an excellent possession receiver. Johnson and Nelson will make a great 1&2 receiver tandem for years to come. Sorry Donald Jones but David Nelson is the man.
