  1. Increases the odds, Beane drafts a really fast CB in the 1st round.
  2. FWIW, my BIL is a 20 year Browns season ticket holder. He is livid; the owner is a piece of trash, he did Mayfield, Mayfield should not have played last year because of his injury, (blames the coaches,)this is all b@llsh!t, and to top it off, mortgage the team for a piece of trash rapist. Add in letting quality players walk or trade away. Don't know if he will give up his seats and/or join the Bills Mafia. I invited him up for the Bills - Browns game, but it might be too soon.
  3. BPA at either WR or CB in rounds 1 & 2. RB or TE in round 3 OL, CB, DL, S in remaining rounds. Correction: if we lose Bates, then OL in 3rd round.
  4. If the Bills do not resign Hughes, I would include him in the sad column. All these years busting his nuts and the team is on the verge of getting a ring, he is shown the door.
  5. I am all in favor of getting a running back that can reduce Josh Allen's running yards (i.e. wear and tear), IF he were available in the second round, but not at the 25th pick.
  6. 1) I found out that Buffalo had a football team in 1969 when they drafted OJ Simpson. (Was a Packers fan after watching the "Ice Bowl" as my very first game on TV.) I started following the team for real during the 1973 season. Joined TBD at the beginning of the 2009 season. 2) Watching the Van Miller Saturday afternoon Bills show recapping the previous game. OJ to the left for 4 yards. OJ to the right for 4 yards, OJ up the middle for 2 yards, first down. 3) The 1988 Season. 4) Darryl Talley, all time. Josh Allen, current. 5) Mabden = Man (from the Eternal Champion series of books)
  7. "Think the Rams would notice if the Bills swapped him out for Beasley?"
  8. Not handing the ball off to Marshawn Lynch on 1st and goal was way worse.
  9. At least didn't have to listen to collinswort crow about Bengals as SB champs.
  10. They stole Daboll's red zone playbook.
  11. Meadow Soprano
  12. Stafford all day long.
  13. Every Bills game I attended, going back to 1980, the parking lot always, reminded me of an invading horde preparing for battle. The drinking of meade, the eating of meat, gathered round campfires growling, yelling, waving their banners. Awesomeness to the max.
  14. Man, I cannot stand coliswort
  15. Look at those barbarians!
  16. My top five in any order you want to put them in: Montana, Manning, Staubach, Unitas, Graham It was that way.
  17. I am not excited. However, I am pleased that I can watch the game without rooting for one of the teams to lose.
  18. If we hadn't played one of the stupidest games I have ever witnessed in jacksonville, we are home against KC. 100%. 2022 regular season has us playing Titans (H) and Chiefs (A). Hard money says we will meet one or both of those teams in the playoffs. Much prefer playing them at home. Hard to argue with that.
  19. I am in favor of drafting a faster corner and wide receiver in our first two picks.
  20. That's a very good point. The only variable is how big is Roger's ego?
  21. Rogers could end up in Denver with Hackett their new HC, a group of very good receivers and running back. Brady retiring or staying another year, eh. Fields might be a force with competent coaching. Will have to see where Wilson ends up and Murray has potential if he doesn't turn into a head case. Dax has the talent, but he looks to be heading down the path of a giant choker with McCarthy as his HC not helping. Poor Darnold, could have been very good, but Gase really screwed him over. Will have to see if he can ever recover. The KC Puzzle. No puzzle, we beat them twice in the last two minutes, then let them win. The AFC is now loaded with good young QBs. Top of the heap is Allen, then twinkle toes Mahomes, Jackson, Burrows, Herbert, Watson (if he ever gets to play again), Carr, Mayfield, Tua (with Daboll as his HC), and Tannehill bring up the rear. Then there is a crop of rookie QBs in NYJ, NE, and Jax. The AFC does appear to be the conference to beat with all the up and coming QB talent, but the bottom line is QB's and Coaches are going to be the drivers for how competitive each conference is going to be.
  22. If both D and O coordinators leave, promote 'what's his name' as OC and hire a DC. With all the coaches getting fired, should be one or two available. Draft speed at CB position with #1 pick. Retain Wallace. He may not be an All Pro, but he has fought off all competition brought in to replace him, he has over 50 starts, so where are you going to find a FA CB with that experience? Draft speed at WR position with #2 pick. Resign Phillips, Hughes. Draft BPA for Center/Guard with at least 2 picks in rounds 3 - 7. Fill in with LB, DE/DT, RB.
