  1. If the 4.5 Mil/Yr offer is true, things have changed at OBD. In the past, the Bills would have overpaid for a fan favorite mediocre player. I cant remember the bills making so many moves in the off-season, and it hasn't officially started yet. Renew your season tickets folks. This could be an exciting year. Go Bills
  2. JMO. They leaked this way too soon. There is way too much time between now and 4 PM Tuesday. I honestly think there is a good chance of this not happening. How many other teams are looking at what they can give up for McCoy?
  3. This is not a done deal. A lot can happen between now and next Tuesday. McCoy is not happy about the trade and is not going to make it easy. http://6abc.com/sports/lesean-mccoy-traded-to-bills/542711/
  4. I would only believe it if Foles was thrown in too.
  5. Maybe he is in the 19% http://wallstcheatsheet.com/sports/5-nfl-teams-players-least-want-to-join-even-for-twice-the-pay.html/?a=viewall
  6. I agree 100%. A lot of Stevie's success during those years was because he was the best, of a god awful bunch of receivers. Reed had other quality receivers on the same team, giving Jim numerous quality targets. HOF James Lofton just to name one.
  7. I have always thought that it has been extremely hard to evaluate the Bills QBs over the last 10 years because of horrible Offensive line play, and a group of awful receivers. Until those 2 positions are shored up, the QB carousel will keep turning.
  8. No. Jim was terrible in the Super Bowls. http://www.nfl.com/superbowl/47/categorystats?tabSeq=1&d-447263-n=1&d-447263-o=1&d-447263-p=1&statisticPositionCategory=QUARTERBACK&d-447263-s=PASSING_PASSER_RATING
  9. I always thought this article was interesting. The fact that Green Bay was on there at 6% surprised me. http://wallstcheatsheet.com/sports/5-nfl-teams-players-least-want-to-join-even-for-twice-the-pay.html/?a=viewall
  10. I thought this would just blow over. Pereira's view is that it will be dealt with harshly. This could get interesting. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/pereira-on-deflate-gate-this-is-cheating-and-it-is-something-the-league-will-deal-with-harshly/vi-AA8roRM
  11. LOL So, You think the Bills going only 1 of 8 (12.5%) on 3rd down had absolutely nothing to do with their loss? That year, the Bills were only forced to punt on an average of 3 times a game. The NY Giants defense forced them to put 6 times.
  12. Thank you for proving my point. The Bills had plenty of possessions to win the game. The Giants defense won that game.
  13. I disagree.... The Bills had to punt 6 times in that game. His defensive game plan was considered so successful it was placed in the HOF. The giants defense won that game. I totally disagree with your so called MYTH!!! http://mmqb.si.com/2014/05/14/nfl-history-in-95-objects-bill-belichick-super-xxv-game-plan/
  14. Does anyone actually think Belichick's great defensive mind really held the high scoring Bills to 19 points in Super Bowl 25? That game launched his career. IMO he started taping a long time ago. I would not put anything past him. He will do ANYTHING to get an advantage.
  15. What stat are you using for #23 Defense. Going by yards/ play under Pettine, they were #6 in 2013 allowing 4.9 YDS/P. In 2012 they were 22nd allowing 5.6 YDS/P. This year they were 3rd with 4.9 YDS/P.
  16. I always thought the mascot was for the younger fans. I say Keep Billy the Buffalo.
  17. All he left me was a box of Kleenexes
  18. Su Casa, Mi Casa
  19. I would actually like the hire. I think he is the best the Bills could get.
  20. His record as a HC is 46-50. Enough said.
  21. And his first hire for the Sabres was the highly sought after Ted Nolan? I like Ted, but he was not a high profile hire. He was the most qualified Coach they could find that would take the job
  22. Sorry if it hurts. Its just my opinion and I am calling it like I see it. Past hiring's prove my statement. Just trying to be realistic about who they will hire. I no longer live in the area, so no inferiority complex here.
  23. Rex wanting to come to Buffalo makes sense. He hates the Patriots, he would probably like to stick it to the Jets twice a year as well. He is a defensive coach that will inherit a top 5 defense. He probably is the most qualified candidate that would actually sign a contract with Buffalo. Not many Head Coach candidates want to come to Buffalo , most use the Bills to practice their interviewing skills and use them to put pressure on the team they really want to coach.
  24. IMO, The 2014 wide receiver class will go down in history as the best class ever. It will be compared to the QB class of 83 that produced three Hall of fame QBs. The amount of NFL records this class is going to break should be impressive. Before this season, only 12 rookie receivers had more than 1000 yards and only 24 players had more than 900 yards. This class produced 3 receivers that had 1000 yards, and Watkins with 982 yards. It was widely accepted that Watkins was the best, of the best receiver class ever. I have no problem with the trade to get Watkins. The success of other receivers in the class does not change my opinion, it only strengthens it. Whaley went after the best receiver of possibly the best class ever, I could never fault him for that.
