  1. Nonsense, To win a game you need to score more points than the opponent. A defense that is second in the league with fewest points allowed since 2019 is going to win a lot of games with an average offence. And win many more with a stellar offence.
  2. Since 2019 the Bills have played 9 playoff games that were not against KC, allowing only 19.2 points per game and having a record of 7-2. Since 2019 the Bills have played 4 playoff games against KC allowing a whopping 35 Points per game and an 0-4 record. The problem with the Defense is against only 1 team. It's significant, over a 15.8 point game swing.
  3. I agree, they were more concerned about partying than winning. If I remember correctly, Marv did try to put a curfew on the 4th, but all the players joked how they got around it.
  4. The combined stats for Jim Kelly's 4 games in the Super Bowls. A 56% Completion Rate, 2 TD's, 7 INT's and a whopping passer rating of 56.9. I would say it's hard to argue on why the Bills didn't win any of those games with Kelly's performance in those 4 games.
  5. I agree, but IMO the defense is not as bad as everyone says. Since 2019 the Bills Defense is number 2 in points allowed per game, Baltimore is number 1. Go Bills!!
  6. Let me get this straight. The OP is quoting Monos, a man that was partially responsible for the drought. I couldn't give my season tickets away to the games I couldn't make it to starting in the month of November because his teams sucked so bad. During his tenor with the Bills his teams never made the playoffs and only had a winning record one year. He gets canned, In comes McDermott and makes the playoffs his first year with the low talent that this man was responsible for. Then, Bean and McDermott draft the most important person in Bills history. A selection that was criticized by numerous so-called experts including many on this board saying that they selected the wrong Josh. McDermott and Bean can do better, and I am sure that they would say the same. But quoting this looser on McDermotts and Beans failures is a joke. Can't wait for preseason. Go Bills!!!
  7. It's not like the D is in shambles since 2019 like some of you are making it out to be. They just suck against the Chiefs and in the playoffs. Since 2019 the D has been solid as far as points allowed per game. 2019 #2 in league, allowing 16.2 Points Per Game. 2020 #16 in league, allowing 23.4 Points Per Game. 2021 #1 in league, allowing 17 Points Per Game. 2022 #2 in league, allowing 17.9 Points Per Game. 2023 #3 in league, allowing 18.3 Points Per Game. 2024 #11 in league, allowing 21.6 Points Per Game. I think having 4 seasons in the last 6, amongst the top 3 defenses in the league is pretty darn good. But it is perplexing on why they allow KC to score over 30 points on them every time they meet in the playoffs. Since 2019 the Bills have played 9 playoff games that were not against KC, allowing only 19.2 points per game and having a record of 7-2. Since 2019 the Bills have played 4 playoff games against KC allowing a whopping 35 Points per game and an 0-4 record. That just seems strange to me. Does Reid have a spy in the locker room and only uses him in the playoffs? Is McDermott too predictable against his old teacher? Or is the old rumor about the Ralph being built on an ancient Indian burial ground true and the Chiefs will always get the best of us in the playoffs? Von Miller is a disappointment, Bean swung at the fence and missed. That along with some key injuries have hurt the D. Changes do need to be made, but IMO they are not far off from getting back in the top 3, as long as Milano can stay healthy. As always...Go Bills!!!!
  8. For the last 5 years there were 13 playoff games for the bills, the D has given up an average of 21.5 points a game and the O has scored an average of 26 points a game. For the last 5 years, KC has played 15 playoff games. The D has given up an average of 23.1 points per game and the O has scored an average of 27.6 points.
  9. Please do not insult me, half buzzed starts on the 3rd bucket, who do you think I am, a millennial?
  10. LOL, no I was already on my second bucket.
  11. Exactly, JA was not himself. especially at the beginning of the game, I was having flashbacks of the old JA of 2018 and 2019 and throwing the ball in triple coverage. Cook played well, averaging 6.5 yards a carry. They should have handed it to Cook more.
  12. No, I was having deep flashbacks of old JA
  13. He looked like 2019 JA all game.
  14. Obviously, you didn't watch the first quarter. JA is winless!!!
  15. JA lost this game. He was not at his best, anyone who says different did not watch the game or are delusional. The offense had the ball ,down by 3 ...3:33 left with 3-time outs and he couldn't get it done. Ohhh, and cook only average 6.5 yards a carry, Thats 19,5 yards per 3 carries. Josh needs to be better.
  16. But I can see you, Your brown skin shining in the sun. You got your hair combed back and your sunglasses on, baby. I can tell you my love for you will still be strong. After the boys of summer have gone.
  17. I keep a close watch on this heart of mine I keep my eyes wide open all the time I keep the ends out for the tie that binds Because you're mine, I walk the line.
  18. The Bills offence only scored 17 points against the New England Patriots Defense, that has giving up 24 points a game on average. Without the D touchdown, the interception and the other fumble recovery, this would have been a loss because the offence could not score against a very weak NE Defense.
  19. What are you talking about, he has been play well against other teams too. He had average stats against the Bills D today. Go look at his game logs on ESPN. Today was only close because Josh sucked today, it happens. Cook had a great game averaging over 9 yards a touch. I do not know why they didn't give it to him more. Go Bills!!!
  20. You should be banned from posting for 2 days for such an obtuse post. Where do these people come from?
  21. I tend to think a lot of the McDermott haters are either Miami NE or Jets fans trolling and posing as Bills fans just trying to have some fun during the season because their teams suck so bad that this is the only fun they can have. You can spot them by their date joined.
  22. This post shows that you never even watched that game. The D was not a mess and falling apart at that time. They lost that game to Denver 22-24 even with Buffalo committing 4 turnovers that resulted in 9 of the points. After that game the Bills D was averaging giving up only 18.4 points a game, even after the offense had turned the ball over 14 times in only 10 games. Doresy was let go because the Bills running game couldn't be stopped in the game against Denver, and he refused to take advantage of that. They had 26 rushes for 192 yards averaging 7.4 yards per carry, while the passing game was 15 of 26 for 177 yards with 2 INT's while only averaging 6.8 yards per attempt. What Offensive coordinator only runs the ball 26 times while averaging 7.4 yards a carry? A coordinator who deserved to get fired. The Bronco's couldn't stop the run game, only incompletions and interceptions, caused the drives to end. He should've run the ball until Cook and Murry were puking or finally stopped. Josh Allen was not having a good day, he is human. He was 15/26, 177 yards 1 TD and 2 INTS. That to me doesn't sound like it was the Defenses fault. Turnovers and lack of taking advantage of a weak run defense was why that game was lost and ultimately leading to Dorsey's demise.
  23. I totally disagree. Any team that will be looking for a new head coach in the upcoming off season would love to have McDermott. He is a great coach that knows how to maximize his players abilities. Please tell me of one player that left Buffalo and was better with their new team. Do I think he could he be batter at some areas of being a head coach? absolutely. And I think he would agree. IMO he will only get better with more experience. I honestly don't know of any coach that is or will be available in the off season that would be better. Tell me, who do you think should be the Bills head Coach.
