Postgame Thread Bills vs Rams
loedward22 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand that being the case live, but once something has been called an interception and they have to review it, then it seems to me like the standard has changed (as it now needs to be conclusive).... Is there any precedence for this situation and if so how was it handled? -
Postgame Thread Bills vs Rams

I haven't heard this question discussed anywhere (TV, post game radio, nor on here). If they call it an interception on the field, don't they need conclusive evidence to overturn it? Therefore the problem was them calling it an interception on the field, and there not being anything conclusive to overturn it. From every angle they showed it was a fifty fifty which is the opposite of conclusive... -
Good comparison... I hadn't put that together yet but you are spot on.

I don't believe that McKenzie play was broadcast either... -

Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS

Not necessarily.. I think all of this was orchestrated after he was with the raiders. -
hoping we go 4 and 0 in the preseason
loedward22 replied to Howard's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They kept saying during the broadcast that the Bills never went 4-0 in a pre-season. This was the first time they went 4-0, which I think is awesome because it might well have been the last opportunity (change in pre-season seems imminent) -
is Brown REALLY much better then Jones?

Brown said the nickname was given to him when he was a baby and had nothing to do with him being fast. -
Four Different Starting QBs in One Season
loedward22 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's correct. Should Barkley start tomorrow we would technically have had 5 starters. Those you listed and McCoy. -
Peterman being on the roster at this point is unexplainable. I started to wonder if the Jesus theory was the case after Peterman remained on the roster after the Baltimore game. Another poster up above suggested another valid theory (pride). At this point I just want to know how it's possible that Peterman is on the team.

McDermott hangs up on Schopp and Bulldog
loedward22 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Schopp came back at beginning of hour 4 but made no mention of what happened (Bulldog either) I don’t think McDermott would call back... some underlying would. But I’m not saying I think this happened, just speculation as to a possible explanation. -
McDermott hangs up on Schopp and Bulldog
loedward22 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Schopp being absent for the half hour after the interview is what I find most interesting. This interview is arranged for between the Bills and WGR. One possible explanation for Schopp's absence following the interview is that McDermott has even more power within the organization than I previously thought. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the questions they had for McDermott today. His hanging up was out of line. -
Is Nathan Peterman Sean McDermotts love child?
loedward22 replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've long suspected this as the reason why McDermott drafted Peterman and why he continues to stick with him. My fear is that this is the same reason McDermott is our coach and that this mentality goes all the way to the top. I have absolutely no problem with religion, but it has no place in business decisions. The only thoughts I can come up with to comfort my fears is that Pegula is too successful to have let this been part of his decision making... -
Sal Carpaccio’s Plan To Fix Offense in 2019
loedward22 replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sal needs to refine his idea. We actually have to find a high culture (ideally a holy roller) elite WR. Unfortunately these are even more rare and difficult to find. -
Playing Bills is like having an extra quasi-byeweek
loedward22 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think this is as dumb as seemingly everyone is suggesting. Actually OP I would absolutely believe a team playing us would rest certain players for that game. Smart people made the argument against us getting Mack saying a player like that is great but doesn't actually lead to wins. I've heard this about Bell in Pittsburgh as well. If you have even a good player rest against us I don't think it would have a chance at changing the outcome. 17 points? That's a ridiculous spread that all but guarantees a loss. -
I think it did this to a lot of us...

Okay thank you. I thought he was for sure a free agent... I guess it's just most likely he's a free agent.
