  1. I follow them through thick and thin. Can't speak for the rest of us.
  2. It seems pretty obvious to me that Buffalo will not pay a huge top three salary in excess of $50M. We know a rookie cap will be in place the next year (2012). We know Mr. Wilson is frugal. We know Buddy wants to build through the draft. I would be shocked if we didn't trade what sadly now seems like the inevitable #1 overall pick (I hope I am wrong. I really want us to win some games). We will still be rebuilding in 2012 and will then keep our top 5 pick which should be a quarterback. I know we haven't traded our top pick very often but it seems pretty logical to me knowing this organization that that is the way they should go. We may get a low to mid round first pick and some more really good picks after that. I don't know what a #1 overall pick is worth but it has to be pretty darn good. If our pick next year is outside of the top 5 we may keep it but 1-3 it is as good as SOLD!
  3. I wasn't trying to create controversy just see how many losses it would take to not retain him. You rarely see a 1 win team and never see an 0-16 team keep their staff. Why should we? Fox should have been our coach years ago. I can't remember who we picked instead but it was a bad choice.
  4. I think he deserves a chance but only if we see improvement over the course of the year. If we keep getting worse than NO!
  5. Fox at least had great success in the past. Gailey has not had much of any. How many owners can let a 0-16 team keep is head coach?
  6. Remember Kay Stephenson and Hank Bullough?
  7. I think if we win less than 3 games Gailey will be fired after this year. I also think Nix will be let go and replaced by Whaley. There is rebuilding but we actually had a below average but not rock bottom terrible defense last year. If we had last years defense with this years offense we would be more competitive. We may have actually won a game or two. Good teams can make transitions gradually NOT like this. I think Gailey should and will be fired after this season. Nix may stay but probably not. I want John Fox.
  8. I agree that we drafted for the 34 defense. It was agreed that we would use both (43) or a hybrid until we have the personnel. I just think increasing the amount of wildcat and increasing the amount of time in the 43 makes us more competitive now. I know there is no real quick fix to make us playoff contenders. I just feel these adjustments will make us more competitive. As for rookies and second year players, they are not better than vets or they would be playing. Putting in inexperienced players when a better vet sits on the bench shows that the management has given up on the season. They absolutely can not do that. I want a team that plays its hardest for 60 minutes no matter what the score. If a vet does not want to do that and quits on the team then by all means sit his a$$ down! I am from the old school, you try to win every game and you always play your best no matter what. I think a big turnover is in order after this season but we have to make the best with what we have now. Sadly we do not have the talent, you are right we drafted very poorly and we sure are paying for it.
  9. We should run 50% of our offense in the wildcat formation. We have three very good backs, no quarterback and a weak offensive line and we need positive plays. We have to go back to a 4 3 on defense. We don't have the players for a 3 4 obviously. I don't buy in to starting the rookies and see what we have. The organization owes it to the fans to try and win every week. That is going to make us a much better team. It worked for Miami. I don't know if we can win but we sure as hell will be more competitive.
  10. It's not the OT's its the inside men and backs and te's
  11. We should invite him back and offer to pay him for what he can be which is: the best pass rusher /linebacker /defensive lineman on our team (even out of shape)!
  12. Sadly he will be just like JP. Out of football after this year. He may get a back up tryout somewhere but he will be cut.
  13. You have to believe we are going to see a change at RT some time soon. Even Nix made fun of Green in his interview. The sad thing is Wang is really more of a LT. He is still a few weeks away from playing. Meredith is only 304, Wang is 301. Howard id the biggest at 314 but least experienced. Urbik is a possibility but does not know our system. I don't think there is anyone we can just pick up. I am thinking Meredith is the least worst option. What do you guts think.
  14. I thought he ran 4.47 in the 40?
  15. Someone did not account for Dansby. Bell took the inside man. I think the RB has to stay in and block. Trent has to know that someone is coming untouched and go to his hot read. If the running back doesn't block than he should turn around and catch a short pass. It's third and ten so Trent is trying to get a first down. Great defensive call by Miami poor adjustment by Trent and or the center and coaching staff. They better get that fixed or it may be Fitz by default. You are right I think it is the QB that has to change protection or have a plan for this or try to avoid the rushing LB. It seems like he has no feel in the pocket for pressure.
  16. It seemed like CJ equaled negative play. I was hoping he would be Chris Johnson 2.0 but it wasn't to be.
  17. We need help at tackle not guard. Converting a good guard is not the answer. Hopefully when Wang recovers he will be the upgrade we need.
  18. He has class. Why call out your players? Behind closed doors I hope he rips Green a new one. He tried to find something positive to say about his Oline. I guess Bell battling was the best he could come up with. At todays press conference I am sure he will have enough time to think of something else.
