  1. No. If we were in need of a #3/#4 veteran leader/receiver and this was the missing piece, then, yes. But, that is not the team's situation right now. Now, if he has a brother that is both an all pro level middle linebacker and safety, then let's go for it.
  2. He was good enough to be known, but I felt that Darren Sproles just played the game the right way. Small in stature but strong and scrappy. He helped in many ways on special teams as well as being a gadget guy in offense too.
  3. Keon gets his first touchdown. I do not think he has a monster game, but he will make an important 50/50 catch that allows Bills to win to drain the clock [please clock management McDermott and offense], move the clock, and seal a victory.
  4. Josh (QB) Dawkins (OL) Shakir (WR) Ferguson (Special Teams) Von (DE) Oliver (DT) Bernard (LB) T. Johnson (secondary)
  5. Predictions 1. We hear too much commentary about Tom Brady's commentary. 2. Dallas flames out again in 1st round. 3. There is a documentary this year called, "Kermit and Brittney" that somehow wins one of those pointless ESPY Awards. 4. Travis Kelce's girlfriend wins Offensive Coordinator of the Year when the announcers are fed some "PR media spin" that his girlfriend called a specific play that is a reference to her from him. 5. Aaron Rodgers contracts COVID. Anything else is a bonus!!!
  6. Are we talking about Khalil Mack?
  7. I have heard of him! Denzel Sims was among the 5 or so WR's I really liked in his draft class and hoped the Bills would have considered. Because we have heard of him, we must sign him! He has better hands than Scantling and is faster than Coleman. Thus, he must be an unpolished diamond.🤫
  8. Background in Judo and Karate. If the fight primarily remains on our feet, I get the "W." If it primarily is on the ground, then I am likely toast. The ground game is the great equalizer.
  9. No. As others have said, Dotson duplicates what we have. There are about 10-15 WR's to trade for, and Dotson is not close to one of them. You trade for a #1 receiver if you are one piece away from seriously contending for the Super Bowl, if the team has the cap space, and the player is either on a rookie contract and/or willing to commit for 3-5 years. Next year...a very reasonable and desirable option. This year, the Bills do not meet any of those criterion. Hard pass!
  10. I am not that influenced by what a favorite player endorses Sure, when I was a kid, I wanted to "Be Like Mike" and own a pair of Jordan's and drink Gatorade. Other than that, no.
  11. Non Bills 1. The Lions, yes, the Lions represent the NFC in the Super Bowl 2. Aaron Rodgers gets hurt in October. He is named by the next President as Director of Conspiracies for the US Government. He accepts. He Does the job for the rest of the season and finds out his conspiracy theories were wrong or not that exciting. Bills 1. McDermott breaks a finger while clapping. As a result of clapping too much, he hires an offensive control clapper rather than someone to help him manage time. 2. Sedrick Van Pran becomes the starting center by week #6 and McGovern goes back to where he belongs: left guard.
  12. Oh, good gravy! Stop it! Whatever it is you are thinking, conjuring, or playing as your own little fantasy GM, Just stop. Go back to your Dungeons and Dweebs quest.
  13. I wonder if some no huddle offensive play calling/scheming would be good for this version of Buffalo's offense. I think doing so would help Allen get in a rhythm and help get everyone involved, especially with all the new WR's. I would love you see the Bills push the ball down the field on short to intermediate routes and keep the defense guessing a bit with Cook, Davis, Kincaid, and Knox offering variations of the offense. Most importantly, in order to keep Allen Healthy, a no-huddle approach in parts of the game helps the offensive line which has struggled to get the running game going and in getting points on the board.
  14. Yes. Josh Allen gets us in the playoffs! Too many variables to say we are a legit contender this year (Milano out, patchwork safety group, some talent but unproven WR group, kicking game, and the OL gelling more). I see us at 10-7 or 9-8. One of the Tuna or Jesters make the playoffs from the AFC East also. Either Rodgers or Tua miss a game or two which will help. Matchups matter with seeding, but I see the ceiling for this year as a competitive loss in 2nd round. With the OC and DC getting this season putting things together, more salary cap space, some young players growing, and more draft capital going forward, the 25-26 starts our next Super Bowl Window.
  15. Two views: #1. It is a preseason game. The goal is to find out the backend of the roster and work out some kinks. #2. The Bears scored 33 points, the offensive line was Swiss cheese, and the defense never rattled any of the 4 quarterbacks the Bears played. Verdict: It's a preseason game, and the Bills got a few major kinks to work out in the next 3 weeks.
  16. Can't disagree with any of the above-mentioned names. A player/person that I admire and believe is probably well-respected is Larry Fitzgerald. He is one of my favorite non-Bills players. Great player and always appeared authentic, hardworking, competitive, and classy.
  17. Romanowski, DeShaun Watson, Michael Irvin, and probably 5-6 current Kansas City Chiefs players. Add Jamarcus Russell who recently stole money from some school program after his "infamous" career. Definitely those on GoBills808 post with guys like Hernandez, Carruth, etc.
  18. Ronnie Lott would be a fun read about lopping off his finger, how he played, and his experience in practices/training camp against his team's offense. Thurman Thomas writing about the highs and lows of their amazing teams, the K-Gun offense, the Bickering Bills, and playing college with Barry Sanders. I am sure there is stuff written about Lawrence Taylor, but a Biography on his upbringing, mentality, drugs, women, snapping legs, and Super Bowls would be a great read.
  19. The information on personnel groupings was helpful as to his role within the offense. Maybe like an offensive lineman, not hearing about him is a good thing and makes him valuable. Hopefully he can kick on Special Teams if Bass can't get his game right.
  20. I get the general gist of the FB position. However, I only played HS football on the defensive side and don't understand much about offensive line play, formations or schemes. I just wonder what he does so well that warrants a roster spot. I understand some teams like to "ground and pound" and a guy that is an excellent blocker, opens running lanes, and a guy that catches a few passes and handles short yardage carries as a power back makes sense for some teams. Gilliam does not seem to do that or the Bills offense. For those who understand Brady's style as an OC and the type of offense we run, does Gilliam become more valuable or remain an anonymous and somewhat puzzling roster spot?
  21. If the team wants a proven #1 WR, then there are only a handful of those guys to trade for (Jefferson, Hill, Lamb, and maybe 1-2 other guys). Bills do not have the salary cap for that or the draft capital to get a player like that.
  22. I think Terrell Bernard has the highest probability of being him, since he shares the same name of Terrell Bernard from last year, looks a lot like him, and his genetic code increases the chances of him being Bernard this year.
  23. I like the idea of a question of the day. A good time is the week after the draft till rookie Minicamp or Training Camp. It's worth trying out. Happy to support whatever Moderators and longtime members feel.
  24. Da'Rick Rogers...WR problem solved! Ko Simpson...Safety problem solved and he would probably play for free as he is worth millions! Cap Savings!
