  1. This is it. To win MVP, it is just as much about giving reasons why someone else should not win it over Allen. The case against Lamar is the Ravens not winning their division. If Ravens win their division and are a top 2-3 seed with his stats (not a Lamar fan, but he is still impressive overall), he still has a legitimate and fair argument for MVP. Bills win their division, finish 1 or 2 in AFC, Ravens don't win their division and Allen stays under 10 ints with similar passing yards and similar passing/rushing touchdowns the last 6 games, he is MVP.
  2. Bills 20 Chiefs 23
  3. At this stage with injuries and a competitive AFC, glad to get a win. The bye week can't come soon enough with the injuries, nicks, and bruises, and some erratic play that needs some fine tuning. KC will be a good measuring stick before some recovery time and coaching and player adjustments. Hopeful Things 1. Getting Coleman, Cooper, and Defense more healthy 2. Stacking wins even when the team ebbs and flows Things that Need Work 1. Clean UpPenalties...especially on the offensive line. There was one drive where the Bills had like 3 penalties (Torrence, Knox, and another player) 2. Fortunately, Colts were down, but we gotta stop the run or at least be a middle of the park run defense. Any good running team is a tough matchup for us. 3. Brady and Allen need to rely on the run more. About 7-10 more carries for Cook/Davis would have been better, especially when Allen is a little off. Allen left too many yards and more manageable first downs get away. Resting up and some tweaks with play calling and reinforcing disciplined football can't come soon enough despite a gritty "W" today.
  4. Ravens for a loss. First, it gives breathing room for seeding. Second, Jackson a little banged up is good. Third, hope it is low scoring and Jackson and Burrow are just average to boost Allen's MVP odds.
  5. I have heard his name in at least a dozen posts over the last 5 or so years. He must be signed.😀 While we are talking about players frequently mentioned historically on this forum, it is appropriate to now bring up, Zack Ertz? 🙊
  6. That would be the Bills who lost (well McDermott) to the Chiefs in the AFC title game with the nightmarish 13 seconds blunder. Last year's team would be 2nd best in Allen Era followed by the Damar Hamlin year.
  7. Yeah...I like this guy. Shows lots of promise, mature, and seems to have a quality work ethic. Could become an above average starter for 10 years for the Bills.
  8. There are only 3 real MVP candidates, but there is still a lot of football left. Derrick Henry: He is averaging more than a 150 per game. Best RB thus far and really adds an entire dimension that most teams can't slow down. Big games against our Bills and Tampa Bay. If he nears 2000 yards, helps Baltimore secure a top 3 AFC record, and he has nearly 20 touchdowns, these are insane numbers in a very pass-oriented NFL. He is the best non QB in the league right now, and it's not that close. Josh Allen: His improvement on turnovers, working well with a new receivers, and his ability to take over a game with run also is what makes him a top 3 QB. He should pile enough wins to compete for a top 3 record, and if he can get 30 passing TD's, under 9 ints, and have nearly 10 rushing TD's, he is going to be hard to turn down. Needs a big game against Chiefs or another Top 10 team where "Super Josh" takes over. Lamar Jackson: Ravens are likely the best team in AFC. Huge wins against Buffalo and a 5 TD performance on Monday Night boosted his stock too. If he is top 3 in passing TD's, QBR, and he has a top 2-3 record, he may win his 3rd. Prediction of MCP I believe Henry and Jackson will still put up massive numbers and could win, but they will drown each other out when it comes to voting with Henry finishing 2nd and Hackson in 3rd. I see Henry getting OPOY, Jackson being a top 3 finisher, and Allen finishing with nearly 4,100 yards, 30 TD's, 8 INT, and 500 yards rushing with 8 rushing TD's
  9. I have never had a wet dream from a football game. Is that similar in concept to Rex Ryan's foot fetish?
  10. Powered by Twinkies may help with distance, but will it help with accuracy?
  11. I have not heard of him; therefore, I am compelled to say, "no thanks."
