  1. this is what is needed, undoubtedly. but it's only the first step. the reconstruction will be the difficult part. fortunately, there are some tried and true models of success. they require money and commitment to winning. hopefully, pegula's approach and personel are polar opposites of wilson's.
  2. whaley's also ultimately responsible for the choice of coaching staff, the qb situation, and the oline. i don't see how thiese can be defended. it was a continuation of the bills historic, failed attempts to produce a winner with subpar coaches and qb's. he did nothing to change that.
  3. thinkl outside that little box brain of yours. other countries directly or indirectly tax wealth. no repug prez would ever consider it but a brave dem might.
  4. that graphic of the top rookie receivers production last night should convince pegula or any consultant of whaley's relative worth. that trade was a huge mistake realized now by just about everyone but whaley and apologist bills fans. they days for apologists are long gone as should whaley be.
  5. it's been done many times in relatively short time spans by many nfl teams. just never the bills. the seahawks are the current blueprint. they started by hiring pete carroll. let's see how pegula starts.
  6. "After 15 years of repeated, excruciating failure, it’s only fair to lay the blame where it belongs – on a dysfunctional organization that has been trying to win with inferior coaches and quarterbacks for the entire millennium." how dare he tell the clear truth.
  7. brandon should be looking for a job selling inferior widgets door to door right now. there's no need for a consultant's help on the demolition work. everyone that ever worked for the previous owner should go. do everything possible to remove the yoke of that loser legacy. then bring in the consultant to rebuild from the foundation up. if you are right, good for both of them. being coveted after a stint with one of the worst performing professional sports franchises in history and doing little to improve it is hardly a ringing endorsement or resume highlight. ask yourself if you had worked for a loser organization and effected no significant improvement, how marketable would your resume be?
  8. no, it's just full of child abusers, wife beaters and scumbag owners. other that that it's perfect.
  9. geez if the'd just sprung for that fancy macbook pro for the analytics guy.
  10. hey, right wing tough guy, it's about purchasing power. if you can buy 18, 911's or a pack of bologna after taxes, thyat's what's important. what would you do with 18 or 100 911's anyway? i doubt anyone here including "security" have any idea.
  11. what do you want him to say? "i'm in the wrong league"? there wasn't a bidding war for his services in the nfl. this is on the bills management. the football talent they got is not good enough. hasn't been for 15 years. won't be til every vestige of the previous regime is exorcised.
  12. you sometimes get less than you pay for. you very rarely get more than you paid for. terry hopefully knew this with the bills and especially with coaches and gm's.
  13. orton is no top shelf qb but the terrible oiine makes him look much worse than he is. and whose fault is this travesty of an oline? maybe it's jerry sullivans fault.
  14. this is wilson's legacy. did ya know he's in the hall of fame?
  15. who thinks the outcome of either of the last two games would be different without watkins or with spiller? there is nothing redeemable in this management group. every last one needs a pink slip tomorrow
  16. any remaining management personel remotely touching the previous owner should immediately be flushed.
  17. i'd definitely turn this off if this game was being played by anyone other than buffalo. this is a boring game by 2 boring and mediocre teams.
  18. fully agree. that's another good reason to not want a right wing prez - to make sure the next appointed justice supports repealling citizens united. guess how the right/ left rulings of the justices went on that one the first time around.
  19. this is as manufactured as a boy band or a chicken nugget. just trying to figure out what tasker or anyone else who regularly posts here has to do with it
  20. ya see, i happen to think there's a big difference between right and left. some of the higher priority initiatives that i feel would be jeopardized by a right wing prez include healthcare, taxes (from which we could expect the top .1% to pay even less), safety net programs for the poor (can't have those "takers" stealing our tax money) and education (further weakening the public education system - see n.c.). but i'm not at all certain why most of you care seeing as you believe there's no difference between the factions.
  21. i like him more after seeing that bit last night. he seemed down to earth and heavily, emotionally invested in the team (as he obviously should be). marrone's biggest problem in my eyes is that he is not chip kelly, pete carroll or even mike pettine.
