  1. how bout birdog hathaway? yall can start send those $10000 checks any time. but seriously, i'm sure the nfl lawyers would find some way to stop it....the owners don't want to rub elbows with the unwashed masses.
  2. control...it's harder to control 70,000 stockholders. some of those folks are apt to have a conscience. oh yeah, and to protect jerks like wilson
  3. my math's a little different, 750 million % 70000 investors = a little over $10000 each (the rest would be in an interest bearing escrow acct). bills made $35 mil last year. thats about $500 per share or 5% plus presumed continued increase in value (more likely when wilson's gone). that's a significantly better return than most are getting now. i'm in and i'll bet if offered this way nationally it would be easy to sell 70000 shares.
  4. hmmm...sullivan likely was as well. do morning columns usually get written after 6pm?
  5. not a really satisfying "interview" but at least he addressed some of the issues. who thinks this even happens if that reporter all the homers love to hate wasn't around?
  6. well said but it will only help if the answers are in line with the fans expectations and i fear that they honestly aren't. for example, losing clearly has been acceptable over the 50 year history of the team. perhaps it's better that they say nothing than actually tell the truth.
  7. bad taste. wonder what your response would be if someone wrote something similar about wilson.
  8. um....that's kinda the point....nix is refusing to give his side. the answers to the reasonable questions posed by suliivan are left to speculation.
  9. agree completely...only motivation i can see for support of exclusively building through the draft is the resignation on some fans part that the bills will never sign top fa's- it's not a realistic option therefore it should be dismissed as foolish.
  10. trump stated recently that he's seriously considering running for president...i'm not sold on his credibility
  11. no doubt..but what in his history gives you hope that he's put buffalo's interest above his family's or even near it?
  12. bulls*&^t. his life would become exponentially more private if he sold the team!!
  13. pray tell...what are the obvious reasons. how much of a hit would he take to sell the team now or disclose his plan if a deal's already been made?
  14. yup...shrewd enough to know that winning isn't necessary for the teams financial success in buffalo and shrewd enough to not let 50 years in a location influence a sale.
  15. i think you're right and i don't see a counterargument to your logic. but wait.... someone will come up with some ridiculous fallacy to defend this ridiculous organization
  16. an expansion team would have a better shot than the current bills at being a contender. most 1st year expansion teams haven't been as devoid of talent as this (especially after the lynch move today). at least they get to raid other teams rosters for players. what's the fastest you've seen any expansion team make the playoffs?
  17. by my math the bills have traded 2 first round picks and marshawn lynch for cj spiller and a 4th round. im not sure if thats a good deal even if you replaced spiller with barry sanders in his prime and cj isn't reminding me much of barry so far.
  18. 'definitely... because wilson is so kind hearted and shown so much concern for bills fans' psyches over the years
  19. maybe..but who would you rather have as the architects of a rebuild? their fo or ours?
  20. even better, wear Mr Burns masks. would serve a dual purpose with halloween coming up. some enterprising small businessman out there might do pretty well selling them to fans
