  1. Edmunds issues are instinctual imo. His recognition to a casual observer always seems a step late. So the runner gets that extra yard on a run, or Tremaine is just out of position to make a substantial play. He's just kinda there, where you're hoping his big frame & wingspan do the trick i guess lol.
  2. i love Fitz & i get the appeal, but ideally you'd want to run the same offense with both QB's & idk if i can see Fitz in that mode. That was one thing i liked a lot with MItch, that continuity.
  3. lol yeah. Well i saw dline & Jones & got all excited. Looking for Jones in all the wrong places... jonesing even
  4. anyone have some good insights on him?
  5. what the hell. I saw on twitter that our IDL was set with Settle & Jones & i was like OMG WE GOT CHANDLER JONES LETS GO!!!! and i come here and see its some guy from Carolina named DaQuan yep GO BILLS!
  6. I see a bit of Robert Woods when i see Gabe. Just a solid dependable wr who shows up to make the catch when u need him. A wr you can trust! I dont know what was the reason the coaching staff was slow to give Gabe playing time, but just like Woods i hope we make a push to sign Gabe long term. Dudes a baller
  7. yeah the Happy Ending was a nice touch!
  8. who knows, maybe we'll have the zedicron variant of covid this season & Star will opt out again & we'll have to deal with him for even longer lol. GO BILLS
  9. All fair & valid points. My only response is that the 2000 Ravens D & 85 Bears D will continue being remembered for the role their groups had in winning when it mattered, instrumental while our D will live on the collective pages on twobillsdrive here & who folded & collapsed when it mattered.
  10. So many BILLS fans have reacted to Brady's retirement with the words: "As a BILLS fan...." that twitters algorithm picked up on it & now its trending lol If the news is true, great career, now we just need Mahomes to retire
  11. During the Hard Knocks where Anthony Lynn was head coach of the Chargers, the camera showed Lynn in his office & he had a shelf of playbooks from the BILLS there. So i'm guessing they keep them
  12. U took the words right out of my keystrokes here. I'd much rather we kept the playbook language & scheme the same, than say switch to something else where you're starting from ground zero. Now i know there's a bunch out there who are based in that scheme, but are they available? No idea. But i hope they know the Erhardt Perkins offense too
  13. I never really liked Rodgers, until i started seeing him on the Pat McAfee show, where he opened up a bit more & showed his personality. In a more relaxed & casual setting, he doesn't come across as arrogant in that format & my opinion of him softened a bit. I also think though that we also need to realize sports athletes are people too. And they dont need to be this or that if they just come as they are. Fans & the media world in general make these players out to be bigger than they should be sometimes. They dont need to be role models or walk on water & say everything perfect. They can just be athletes who get paid to do a job too, this job being professional football. But i've always found some similarities between Rodgers and Favre & i'm curious if i'm the only one. On the field both were gunslingers, both players who you love watching play the game, but both who don't have all the accolades or titles that you would've expected to go along with all their success.
  14. without having researched any of this, i imagine with a geolocating service. Such as out of State ticket orders or something like that. They could just setup a condition or filter to disallow transactions outside Tennessee... something like that i imagine
  15. 17 years... next question?
  16. if we can get CMC for a 4th rd pick & salary retained then sure, get er done Beane. Anything more than that tho, with his injury history & salary, no thanks
  17. ive done this before a few years back. Yeah u just work the stands & shovel the snow into chutes that dump the snow at ground level & then small front loaders scoop that up into bigger containers for removal. U dont need to kill yourself & u wont be overly micromanaged as long as u at least appear busy. Ive heard stories of people finding random valuables too that others left behind. I can't condone this but i used to bring a flask with me to make the experience better (and to warm me up) & i'd hang out with a bunch of fans for a good part of my shift. It was a cool experience to do but just a heads up but u dont get paid the same day. You have a piece of paper to fill in your hours with & you come back a week later & pick up a physical check. That was a bit of a pain in the butt & a friend who worked with me got screwed with no check whatsoever. But at the time we were strapped for cash & needed the work. Idk if there's a different company handling it now where perhaps they handle the payment side differently but just thought i'd share my experience fwiw
  18. ha same with me. I believe his last name was Jones & he played football of course, but i could be messing up the name. I've killed off a lot of those brain cells from back then. It always did feel a bit weird to me i remember. That we were like living in a bubble & it wasnt an accurate depiction of the world at large. But as time has gone on its become more diverse which is good. I know Daboll went to St Francis but with how small a community it is, maybe i crossed paths with him. Perhaps with you as well
  19. Imo its not so much about building a team for the elements. Its about having a balanced roster that on offense can keep defenses honest. Where we're not having to pass 90% of the time & put everything on Josh's shoulders. Does Kelly & those BILLS teams of the past have as much success as they did without a Thurman Thomas, or at least having the ability to run the ball? Players & defenses in this league are too good, even on crappy teams. If they know you're gonna pass 75% of the time, they'll play coverage & take their chances & just a little bit of a run game by us would go a long way. Its not really rocket science lol. I do think a lot of this falls on Daboll too, as there's things he could do in this area but just hasn't for a number of reasons. on defense, we've talked about our LB core these past few years as an area we needed to improve... still waiting on that to be done. Lets not be so undersized where opposing offenses can man handle our front 7 & rb's can feast off us. It's common knowledge we're built to stop the pass. We've gotten shredded by teams that can deploy a power running game. Once again, we should be more balanced to defend against the run too. Lastly we've also just had some officiating not go our way where if 1 call goes our way in some of these losses, a couple of them would be wins. In spite of our deficiencies we're still in positions to win, because we are a solid team & have an elite QB. I just hope it wont all be wasted this season.
  20. You gave some great info in your post here. I hear all the time on how we need to get a top tier rb, which i wouldn't be against of course. But even if we had one on the team i'm not totally convinced it'd even make a huge difference. As you pointed out, we've had some success & productivity when we've ran it. The main issue i see here is simply Daboll not committing to the run game at all. With that game vs TB, he didn't even call his 1st run play til the 2nd half lol. Its not so much a talent issue, although a better oline & rb would help. You can scheme up run plays with subpar talent if thats what u feel we have. Look what Atlanta is doing with Cordarelle Patterson? Last year it was jet sweeps with McKenzie. There's things you could do to keep defenses more honest. I see our issues more on Daboll & his scheming or lack there of & our game plan more than anything imho.
  21. if anybody needs a link for the game hit me up. I'll be checking my dm's up until the game happy thanksgiving everyone! Lets GOBBLE up these Saints! 🦃
  22. Edmunds with that Pro Bowl level of indecisiveness
  23. hey i have a random question hopefully someone can answer During the KC game Collingsworth i believe brought up the Music City Miracle & said how there's a local bar here in Buffalo with a huge photo of that play hanging on the wall. Does anyone know what bar that is? Tried searching for it on google but to no success. Appreciate anyone who knows the name of it
  24. Easy win as the BILLS put up a 40-burger. Righting another past wrong & lowering the Titans back down to size... BILLS 42 Titans 17
  25. i'm all for trolling the Pats &/or Bill. But that billboard is pretty weak when it comes to trolling. Its too cryptic for starters. Shouldve had Brady's face on it or something, idk.
