thats an interesting team stat. Especially for one that just fired their OC. Makes one think the issues are beyond just the offense. But i know weeks 2-4 skewed the numbers too. You take those weeks out & goodbye scoring margin. Also Sean McDermott 7-14 in 7 point games these past 3 years. GO BILLS

i'd take Stroud bcuz he's hot & is a lot cheaper for DFS purposes (if thats the fantasy you play). Easier to stack higher priced players around. Thats what my plan is at least. For regular fantasy: i'd still roll with Stroud. Arizona's defense is THE ONE to target. While Hurts very well could take that game over & do well, the odds are Houston will have an easier time. With Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Noah Brown, Dalton Schultz, all nice complimentary pieces this year. All were available in leagues if you were savvy enough to grab em, likely for free on the waiver wire. These are not the Houston Texans of old. Pains me to say they're a rising team that should only get better.

The problem is us guys. After decades of being synonymous with losing, we have a few winning seasons & as BILLS fans we're all feeling entitled now? Raise your hand if this is one of you. Its our fault for expecting, no demanding an honest hard working team that doesnt embarrass us on Sundays & a team which is as hardworking as the community it represents. If that is me being entitled than i guess I am? While winning & losing may be the only thing that matters to your record, for me its how we lose that frustrates me the most... and who we've lost to. An offensive scheme with progressions that make no sense. Playcalling that doesnt put your players in the best position to succeed. Players/coaches losing focus at crucial moments. A QB that looks lost, heck the whole team & coach look lost. Penalties & turnovers & self-made mistakes. The players loss of composure & confidence when any adversity occurs in game. From a higher level: 2 years in a row where our aging defense is decimated with injuries, perhaps we need to get younger? Poor drafting, poor coaching hires, poor contract extensions etc. But its our fault for being entitled haha. We're just a witness to this bs, we dont have as much of an impact on the team's success or failures as one may think. Even if we were entitled (which i dont think we are, given we're BILLS fans & all we've endured) it wouldnt change the fact that this team has major issues & we're all simply witnesses to it.

His catch % should be high for crying out loud, his air yards are among the lowest of the league. It SHOULD be easier to catch a pass thrown 3 yards beyond the LOS. After the last couple games his air yards have grown from around 3 to 4.4, so the difficulty is starting to go up lol. But yes it is nice to see someone besides Stephon being able to catch the ball. And its nice to finally see Kincaid being used more than 3 yards down the field.

During your Superbowl window, you want your 1st year backup rb to take the reigns & lead this team. We just need to trust the process! After how this season has gone where we struggle vs the worst teams, JETS, GIANTS, PATs, WTFs etc, no game is "easy" at this point... not even Denver. My how the mighty have fallen. It remains to be seen if the people responsible for this mess are capable of rectifying it. So far they havent been & most of the time in life with this situation those people simply CANT. Its just not easy for people to admit mistakes, to honestly evaluate their decisions with no bias & make corrections. Can these guys do it? So far the answer is no. Aside from this team imploding on itself, Beane has given questionable extensions to many of his draft picks, seemingly doubling down on questionable draft choices to begin with. Rn its looking like we need a new OC, DC & HC, with possibly a new GM if no changes are made. But 2 out of those 4 are a necessity at this point. MCD mightve been the right coach to turn this ship around when he got here, doesnt mean he's the right coach to win us a SB. If im a young HC growing into the role, i'd think it wiser to staff a DC so you could fully concentrate on being a HC. Rn it looks as if McD bit off more than he could chew. Rn it looks as if a rookie OC wasnt the right choice for a team competing for a Superbowl. Rn this team looks to be in complete shambles. Imagine that.

its insane seeing all the draft capital we've spent on the dline, only to still need to draft dline bcuz the guys we've drafted suck. Definition of insanity comes to mind here. Perhaps we should just trade or go to FA for our dline, since we're incapable of drafting for the position? Floyd stands out from all the guys we've brought in, (Von excluded but even that is worrisome atm) but what do we have to show for the years of drafting for the position? Theres plenty of other areas we could use our draft capital on, for other needs. Perhaps we'll have better luck drafting for those? Also the extensions Beane has handed out have handcuffed this roster. Dawson Knox didnt need an extension when we gave him one for instance. Ed Oliver etc. Its hard to expect the people who created this mess are capable of rectifying it. Time will tell i suppose. GO BILLS

I hear Belichick is available I'd be stoked with Harbaugh tho. Those 49ers teams were resilient & found ways to win. Played true complimentary football. Seemed he gets the most out of his players. I'd prefer a coach like him to another unproven. Too much is on the line to try rookie coordinators & coaches imho

Simply put the talent is there, we know this. The issue then becomes about how we're using them & for that the blame goes to our coaches. Easy who to point the finger at, Sean & Dorsey should go. Wont happen, Dorsey will be the fall guy for this season but if this team implodes maybe the pressure on Beane gets hot enough that Sean gets the axe. Whatever the case this is unacceptable & like the coaches say: there needs to be accountability... and that needs to start at the top.

its funny. We draft Cook, add new old guys in Latavius Murray & Damien Harris, after previously trying this with Matt Breida & Nyheim Hines, & now its Fournette who's the next to join the party. And thats after spending 3rd rd picks in 2019 & 2020 on Singletary & Moss who are no longer on the team. And we're not gonna use any of them! Serious question but what are we looking for where none of these guys are the answer? Can one deduce from this that its not the RB thats the issue but perhaps the scheme or play designs or oline instead? How many rb's do we need to go thru before we realize its not the rb thats the issue? Whats the point of acquiring Fournette or any of these guys if we dont intend on using them? These retread rb moves are approaching Carolina Panthers level of absurdity. If we were winning it wouldnt be such an issue but in light of our reality it doesnt seem like our management has any clue on what to do.

we just need to play to our strengths, stay disciplined & execute, thats it. We don't need any gimmicks or revolutionary changes. But staying disciplined in & of itself would be a revolutionary change. Being prepared to face each new team each week would be a change, because for some reason we just havent been. Theres many problems with going into a K-gun offense. 1st off no K. But the biggest issue is being the extra pressure it puts on your defense when you go 3 & out in short fashion & the defense is back on the field again. They're already dinged up & a liability, seems like a recipe for disaster. We just need to sustain drives, control the tempo & possession & stay disciplined, we do that we win most games. But our team plays like they dont care until theyre absolutely forced to. Coach needs to get them to play like the game is on the line from the very 1st snap of the ball. Not just when youre down a couple scores in the 4th qtr imho

BILLS implications aside: these international games are an opportunity for the NFL to showcase the game to new viewers. With that as the goal, i wish the NFL would've communicated to the officials that if its a judgement call, less is best. Not saying dont call obvious penalties, but if something is borderline, for the sake of the game just dont call it. The non stop penalties broke the rhythm for the game & made even diehard football fans cringe. I imagine non-diehard fans felt even worse. Of course if we win the game we dont feel as bad about the penalties. Another aside that ive been saying for awhile: our 2 losses have less to do with the team we're playing (or these officials) & more about ourselves. We're good enough that we can beat both these teams if we just play with confidence & within our capabilities & just dont make critical mistakes. Easier said than done i guess.

i too was frustrated with the flags, with questionable calls that made you wonder if there was something else going on. So i googled the officiating crew during the game & this is what i found on Shawn Smith: The Bills with Josh Allen at quarterback are 8-1 ATS with Shawn Smith, their best record with any referee since his arrival in Buffalo. Additionally, the Bills are 6-0 on the moneyline and ATS in their last six games with Shawn Smith officiating. So this officiating crew had no anti-BILLS bias in their history. Just thought i'd add this bit since i noticed no one else did lol.

is it just bad luck? Is it strength & conditioning? Is it the fact we're getting older & more susceptible to injuries? Is it all or none of the above? or is it just football? Good way to end the 1st half. Couldve brought that fumble recovery to the house for a td, had the guys around it thought of it lol. (Makes sense to fall on it too) But the guys made a big stop! This teams confidence seems shaky at the start of this year. When things dont go as planned in game, when they face adversity, its been a challenge at times to remain composed. My 1st instinct is to look at the coaching, but the boys are still fighting & in this. Coach is still clapping on the sidelines giving emotional support LETS F-in GO!!!

if it wasnt for Jeudy's injury history maybe it'd be an idea but too risky going forward imho. As for now someone like Mike Evans makes more sense to me. Davante Adams doesnt, big name tho of course. I can see why it'd garner interest but yeah its highly unlikely to happen.

it is an issue, however at least they're seemingly aware of it & are helping him. I've been pretty critical of a lot of Beane's decisions, specifically his lack of urgency in addressing the oline more aggressively. But at least they're not letting Brown get exposed. Then we'd have something else to be upset about

If i were building a team to compete for the Superbowl & were paying an elite talent like Josh Allen to lead our franchise, i'd pick someone who has the respect & the trackrecord to coordinate said offense. I wouldn't pick Ken Dorsey. I wouldnt take a chance on an unproven unknown. Say what you will about the reasons why he was the choice. But is he the best man for the job? Who can make the claim that he is? His supporters/defenders point to last season, but one could argue last season was attributed to the remnants of Daboll's influence. As time goes on his influence waned & Dorsey's took over. Putting aside the play design & calls & lack of focus & execution, do the players even respect KD enough to listen when he puts them in their place? Does he even do that at all? What track record can Dorsey point to, for that player to respect & listen to? Problems in any organization come from the top down & i dont think its any different here. Oline remains an area of concern. Jason Peters just got signed by Seattle. Guess they realized they needed help & did something about it. Will we? Stay tuned

i stopped paying for cable 20 years ago & have relied on internet streams & torrents to get me thru. I have total freedom & control over what media i consume & have never looked back. Any sporting event, if theres a camera & internet connection, theres a stream out there to watch for free. Companies like Spectrum aka Slime Warner aka Adelphia Cable have a history of mismanaging funds where the customer experience is secondary to their corporate profit margin & dividend. Exec's paid themselves millions while cheating seniors out of paying more due to predatory billing practices. I have no sympathy for the situation they've created for themselves.
