  1. Looks like Tim Graham is just desperate for some clicks before the season starts. 'Pegula's imploring Beane'... BEGGING Beane & Sean to get Josh to be more of a CEO? Don't the best CEO's delegate responsibility to those who perform? Isn't that what Josh did last year? Sorry this whole article comes off as nonsense. Regarding the DIGGS situation, i have a feeling regardless of anything Josh did or didnt do, Tim Graham would come up with an article criticizing it. But not with any facts or insider information, but just more speculation & opinion. Imho each player needs to be held accountable for their own actions, so i don't blame Josh for Diggs, i blame Diggs for Diggs & i can blame the coaching too, but i wouldnt blame Josh for not being a CEO lol. This article did do 1 thing for me tho, it made me feel more confident in our team & Allen, if this is the best Graham can come up with for a controversy in the offseason, we're not in bad shape! I hope the change in expectations this season & any haters voices that find their way to the team, just motivate our guys to go win a SB when nobody else expects it. I don't want Josh to be a CEO... there's some truly awful CEO's out there. I'd prefer Josh to be who we drafted him to be, the best QB we've had in decades & maybe ever, who is a class act on & off the field & 1 of the top 3 QB's in the league. We win BECAUSE of Josh, not in spite of him. And we won 6 of those last 7 games in spite of Diggs play dropping off a cliff. The team always seemed to be walking on eggshells with Stef, where it seemed to take the focus off the bigger picture. Now we wont have that problem & that can only be a good thing imho.
  2. when you gotta go, you gotta go
  3. Athletically its Josh 100% with an eye on his ceiling. But while comparing the 2, 1 has displayed his ability to win the big game when it counts & the other is the QB for the Buffalo BILLS. Until that last bit isn't synonymous with losing & choking, any BILLS player needs to be 2nd to whoever is 1st imho. Until you demonstrate you can win the big game then its just how it has to be. I know its not all on 1 person win or lose, but one also can't deny that winning matters. Some would say its all that matters. PS I typically don't partake in these fan debates because they're usually just popularity contests. They're both of the best in the league
  4. i'd just stream the game for free, on any one of the 1000's of free streams easily available on the internet. If anyone ever needs any assistance with this, feel free to shoot me a DM
  5. Since Bass's issues appear largely psychological, i imagine Beane didn't bring in any competition so as to not make Bass more of a headcase about his status with the team. Sort of like a GM with a QB who doesn't bring in any QB to compete with them. I dont agree with it, as these players are supposed to be professionals & used to competition their whole life. Beane's comments on having guys push others runs counter to this with Bass. There's just no reason not to bring someone in, unless you're 100% confident Bass can regain it, which you should never be.
  6. If only we built our new stadium downtown, in part of a more ambitious waterfront development project. Perhaps we'd already have our answer to a lot of the questions posted here. We'd already know where we'd have the Draft. It'd be for our new state of the art facility & waterfront we're chomping at the bit to showcase to the rest of the Country. Instead we're making a pitch for what & where? The parking lot? The old stadium before its 100% torn down? Yeah its not gonna happen, sorry. Too many other cities would be in a much better position than us to host this event. Cities that don't have the same logistical concerns. Cities that have an actual developed area to host & showcase. "But we could have it in front of City Hall...." Sure, maybe if it were a football stadium. I hope we didn't spend too much money putting together a package to host this. Unless this is the quo part of the quid pro quo to Pegula for finally building a new stadium, i don't see this happening. Sorry!
  7. Yes the annual Ngakoue thread. 1 of my favorite off-season past times. Is Jadeveon Clowney available too? In years past I have thought he could be a serviceable addition. But he's always received more money than I think we'd be prepared to pay & for what he brings on the field, i dont think he's really worth it. Pretty much a 1 dimensional player, that doesn't get to the QB enough to justify having him on your team. At least imho. So naturally this will be the year we sign him
  8. I would just watch the game for free, on any one of the 100's of freely obtained links on the internet. If you are halfway internet savy, which means you have an adblocker installed, you will find all you need is already out there. Anyone ever needs links to anything, feel free to DM me.
  9. BILLS cockblocking the worst team in the division. Gotta aim the sights a little higher lol
  10. Idk how anyone can think this is a "make or break year" when everyone from the top down says this is a "year of transition". It doesnt quite mesh with 'make or break' does it? Only way i'd see Coach getting fired is if we start 0-10 with a 100% healthy Josh Allen. That decision, as well as making a run for the SB, are all delayed til next year. We're in transition
  11. What if Beane thought highly of all the wr's & wouldve been happy with any of them? Then Beane wouldve felt safe trading down, knowing he'd at least get 1 of them. "The last one on Josh's list". Time will tell i suppose, with all these guys... it always does
  12. Whats the point of drawing contrasts with the Patriots dynasty? Its literally the greatest team, with the greatest HC & QB of ALL TIME. What worked for them, very well wont work for any other team, especially us. We have a defensive minded coach, who coaches a defense that can never get the big stop to win a game. A Bill Belichick coached D at the height of their prime, would seem unbeatable at times & that simply is not us. Yes Josh Allen is a freakish talent & can do just about anything. But as we've found out, it takes more than that to win a Championship in this League. Did we do enough at WR? Of course not. No way in hell anyone can claim we did. Is that okay? Well it depends on what the goal is for this season. Its not enough to put us in contention for a Lombardi this year tho. If thats the stated goal for this season: we've failed. When Beane says this is a team in transition, i think we know what that means.
  13. we shouldve traded down! Again
  14. You guys are all missing the biggest part of this. We would have our own Brady & Belichick, plus with the talent that is Josh Allen. After getting our hearts smashed thru those Patriot years. Doesnt it just make sense that Brady & Belichick could be what finally pushes us over the top? Its like the God's have a sense of humor Get er done Beane!
  15. well everyone's worried because #1, we don't have those WR1 & WR2 spots filled yet. If we replaced Stef with those guys, obviously fans would be less worried lol. #2 fans are worried because getting rid of Stef wasnt part of any plan, which carries its own consequences. #3, Going on year 7 for your SB caliber QB, its not ideal to be having cap issues while needing to completely overhaul the roster.... on both sides of the ball. Are these worries warranted? Yeah i'd say they are. But how much should we worry is the question. I'd say we shouldn't really worry too much until Training Camp is closer. By then we should see the roster we're going with & know where we stand... imho
  16. feels like we've done this backwards. Year 6-7 of Josh Allen, you'd like to be making a trade for a #1 wr to win now. Wish we could turn back the clock & simply draft Justin Jefferson, who everyone had mocked to us. This almost feels like thats what Beane is doing here, trying to go back to draft his Justin Jefferson. Just remains to be seen if the guy we draft can live up to that. Bold bold move by Beane.
  17. its Draftkings Sportsbook, even quoted in the article the OP posted. DK users in NY & im guessing NJ as well, dont have the same access to what others in the nation do.
  18. i want Brian Thomas, if only because we share the same name, but he's a pretty good player at a position of need for us too. Get er dun Beane
  19. ha good eye! Yeah whoever posted it on twitter must've reused it from last year. So this must've been 1 of those xmas wish-list type trade ideas at the time. After the way Stef's play fell off & given his salary, idk if an offer would even look that good now, but who knows. The chances of it happening are slim to none anyways. So other than Stef handling his business on his own & regaining that form, i dont know what around him can change for the better to help. You'd like to say a new OC, but his play fell off a cliff after Brady took over. And from all the All-22 film i saw, the route concepts & even Stef himself were the main problems, of course im no expert. So i guess we're just living on a prayer & hoping for the best next year?, really nothing else we can do. We can scheme ways to get him open & all that, but will we? After Brady took over, I havent seen 1 example of us doing that so far, with really anyone, but doesnt mean we havent or cant. Just remains to be seen if we will i suppose. Not a great situation at all but with Josh Allen, anything is possible. Just wish it wasnt all on him. GO BILLS
  20. saw this on twitter this morning & almost had a heart attack. Was curious how'd you all feel if this did happen i dont hate the idea personally & the trade partner surely makes sense given the history. Ideally i'd like things to work with Diggs here. But a trade like this would be bold & likely one of the only ways we can get out of the contract, without really hurting ourselves in the process
  21. 1 last point, the music in both our arenas is trash. Case in point: that song Cotton Eyed Joe was never that great a song. Released in 1994 it peaked at #25 on the charts. YET WE STILL PLAY IT EVERY GAME it seems. Hopefully with a new arena it'll bring a fresh gameday experience, bcuz everything else is outdated. I just always think to myself: can't we do better? Yes I believe we can.
  22. i absolutely hate the 7 Nation Army chant. They use it at european soccer games for crying out loud. If thats not reason in itself to stop doing it, idk what is. But my game day experience is full of cringe. That ghastly train whistle is so darn annoying. Give me the sound of a stampeding herd of Bison. Give me anything but the stupid whistle. Between the 7 Nation Army chant & the whistle, it 100% ruins my gameday experience. I cant scream loud enough to drown them out lol. Fwiw: i'm also on Discord servers & reddit & talk about the BILLS to 100's of people around the country. Unscientific total: 90% of everyone i speak to hates the whistle & chant too. Its gotten to the point where its almost embarrassing. But at the end of the day, what matters is my BILLS, our BILLS, so i put up with it. But it'd be great to be prouder of these gameday traditions
  23. "Ignited the offense", no he made it simpler. Which is good & bad at the same time. But if you watch any of the All 22 breakdowns, you won't see any scheming of players open taking place. You'll see missed details in route running all over the field, plays that seem amateur at best. College or highschool route concepts come to mind. And that may be fine in the middle of a season after you fire your OC, but when you have an opportunity to bring in an established or experienced or above average OC, shouldn't you take it? When you have a top 3 QB on your team? In year 6-7 of your SB run? After making a poor hire previously that you had to fire midseason? Im sorry but this is the worst hire we could've made imho. Its like a punt & a very uninspired choice to followup Dorsey. God are we really gonna waste the talent of Josh Allen? Only thing i can really hope for is that he grows into the role & simply gets better. Smh with this one
  24. I thank the Gods we have Josh Allen I really do, but i cant describe this as a 'thing of beauty' when you consider how we previously traded the Patrick Mahomes pick to KC, i just cant. Not with who Mahomes has turned out to be & with how desperate we were for a QB in 2017, & not with where our 2 franchises are now. Josh Allen sure we drafted him so thats all that counts, but we very easily couldve gotten this pick wrong as well & missed out on both & where would we be today? In all honesty, im surprised we did pick Josh & that its turned out as well as it has. Its not too often things go better than expected around here. But as far as BILLS seasons go, you could argue everything else is par for the course, with the 1 anomaly being how great Josh Allen is. He on his own makes everyone look like geniuses for picking him & he makes the coaches & players around him better too. But at some point & many of us fans are there right now, thats not enough. Maybe i'm being too hard on the GM & team but theres that saying how a broken clock is right twice a day. We got the clock right the one time with Josh, but 6-7 years later, the rest of the clock is still broken it seems, as we still haven't figured out what makes it even tick. And we're all just hoping now that Beane has figured it all out & will make the right moves. Every one of us will have a different level of faith in this staff's ability to do that now. For me, my faith is shaken to its final threads, given the past few years of self inflicted personnel mistakes. But when you have a Josh Allen, anything is possible i suppose. In Beane we hope...
  25. If we go with Brady next year, it'll be tragic. As it likely means we waste another prime year of Josh. If you have one of the top 3 QB's on the planet, doesn't it make sense to pair him with an above average coordinator who can best make use of the talent Josh is? Statistically Brady is Ken Dorsey, perhaps a little less of one. And Ken Dorsey should've never been the OC either. Lets stop fracking around & get Josh & our offense the players & coordinator it needs. Or is there something else, some other reason why we dont? Is it a matter of control & power within the coaching hierarchy? At some point you start to wonder why we don't hire a real OC
