  1. We've been hearing a lot about the operations of the Bills Front Office on the matter of player selection. My opinion is that a Head Coach should be in control of the type of player is to be on the roster. If Marrone did not have that control with the Bills, than I can see him taking advantage of the generous exit clause in his contract. What head coach, worth his salt, would like to be subservient of roster control to someone else in the organization. Especially someone he does not have a good relationship with.

  2. Odds are we will not find a decent veteran QB replacement for Orton to play next season. Manuel is probable as good if not better than most of the QB's that will become available this off season. The Bills can get to the next level with Manuel if and only if they put players around him that can dominate. If we can keep our defense together and get a healthy Kiko Alonzo back our defense should be dominate. Now our challenge becomes to up grade the Oline and develop a dominate running game. Build a team similar to the Baltimore team that won the Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer.

  3. Keeping and improving the Bills Defense will be relatively simple for Doug and Doug; Spend a little of The Pagula's money to keep it together and get Kiko healthy. Now the Bills Offense is a little trickier to improve. As everyone knows Franchise QB's are rare, and finding one for next year is very unlikely. But building a dominating Oline is not out of the realm off possibilities and probably the easiest option for Doug and Doug to take the Bills to the next level. They will have to spend some more of The Pagula's money to accomplish this task. But it is the path of least resistance to improve the Bills.

  4. For a Bills fan this was not a bad season, as Bills seasons have gone so far this century. We won two more games than we are use too. Plus we had a pretty good defense to watch. I think the odds of us finding a Franchise type QB for next season are as slim as the Sabres having a winning season this year. But I do believe we have a good chance of keeping this defense together for next year. And I think between Free Agency and the Draft we can find some decent Guards and upgrade our running game. So things may be looking up for next season. Maybe we win 10 games next year.

  5. I know it's tough for the Bills Brass and Coaching Staff to bench EJ. We have a playoff caliber team that just lacks consistency and accuracy from the QB. Had we had accuracy and consistency from our QB today, we more than likely would have blown the Texans away by the second quarter. The season is young and we are now 2 and 2. With just average accuracy from the QB we could be 4and0.

  6. Marrone appears to me as a man struggling to avoid saying what he believes. I'm concerned he believes his starting QB is at best a year or two away from staring in the NFL. And unfortunately his back up QB's may not be good enough to even be in the NFL. After watching his Oline fail to get a push on 4 attempts on the goal line, he realizes his guards are big but weak. All this in a year that will bring in a new owner.

  7. Hopefully the Sammy Watkins contract signing process goes smoothly and quickly. I have a concern that his agent Eugene Parker is going to make some demands that will be hard for the Bills to accept. Consequently delaying the bonding process between Manuel and Watkins.

  8. I very pleased that the Bills Brass made the deal to pick the best playmaker in the draft. Great move!!!! that being said, I'm curious to know if we had the option of giving Cleveland our second round pick this year instead of our first round pick in 2015. The NFL Draft Trade Valuation Chart show the # 4 pick to be worth the #9 + #41 + small change. Hopefully someone in the press will ask the question and the Bills Brass will not feel threatened to give the honest answer.
