We've been hearing a lot about the operations of the Bills Front Office on the matter of player selection. My opinion is that a Head Coach should be in control of the type of player is to be on the roster. If Marrone did not have that control with the Bills, than I can see him taking advantage of the generous exit clause in his contract. What head coach, worth his salt, would like to be subservient of roster control to someone else in the organization. Especially someone he does not have a good relationship with.

Do you think the Pagula's are cleaning the house for the Polian's?
-
It's been reported that Marrone was unsuccessful in his attempt to obtain contract extensions for him and his staff from the Pagula's. Do the Pagula's have a plan?

Odds are we will not find a decent veteran QB replacement for Orton to play next season. Manuel is probable as good if not better than most of the QB's that will become available this off season. The Bills can get to the next level with Manuel if and only if they put players around him that can dominate. If we can keep our defense together and get a healthy Kiko Alonzo back our defense should be dominate. Now our challenge becomes to up grade the Oline and develop a dominate running game. Build a team similar to the Baltimore team that won the Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer.

Keeping and improving the Bills Defense will be relatively simple for Doug and Doug; Spend a little of The Pagula's money to keep it together and get Kiko healthy. Now the Bills Offense is a little trickier to improve. As everyone knows Franchise QB's are rare, and finding one for next year is very unlikely. But building a dominating Oline is not out of the realm off possibilities and probably the easiest option for Doug and Doug to take the Bills to the next level. They will have to spend some more of The Pagula's money to accomplish this task. But it is the path of least resistance to improve the Bills.

Doug Marrone and Doug Wahley will lead the Bills to the playoffs. Anyone who has not sensed the positive attitude change of the Bills Players hasn't paid attention to this team over the last 15 years. I expect they have a sound plan to improve the roster already.

Merry Christmas Pegula Family and Thanks!

Here Here!!!! The Pegula's have kept the lights on the WNY Sports Scene. -
For a Bills fan this was not a bad season, as Bills seasons have gone so far this century. We won two more games than we are use too. Plus we had a pretty good defense to watch. I think the odds of us finding a Franchise type QB for next season are as slim as the Sabres having a winning season this year. But I do believe we have a good chance of keeping this defense together for next year. And I think between Free Agency and the Draft we can find some decent Guards and upgrade our running game. So things may be looking up for next season. Maybe we win 10 games next year.

When I'm in Buffalo I always have at least one breakfast at The Original Pancake House http://www.originalpancakehouse.com/phloc_ny.html. Try the 49ers Pancakes, no pun intended,.

I know it's tough for the Bills Brass and Coaching Staff to bench EJ. We have a playoff caliber team that just lacks consistency and accuracy from the QB. Had we had accuracy and consistency from our QB today, we more than likely would have blown the Texans away by the second quarter. The season is young and we are now 2 and 2. With just average accuracy from the QB we could be 4and0.

It surprises me that the Bills don't have CJ going out for passes. I doubt there are many LB's or Safeties that match up well against CJ in pass coverage.

Marrone appears to me as a man struggling to avoid saying what he believes. I'm concerned he believes his starting QB is at best a year or two away from staring in the NFL. And unfortunately his back up QB's may not be good enough to even be in the NFL. After watching his Oline fail to get a push on 4 attempts on the goal line, he realizes his guards are big but weak. All this in a year that will bring in a new owner.

Hopefully the Sammy Watkins contract signing process goes smoothly and quickly. I have a concern that his agent Eugene Parker is going to make some demands that will be hard for the Bills to accept. Consequently delaying the bonding process between Manuel and Watkins.

Lesean McCoy tweets Bryce will start day 1
gjv001 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If McCoy is right, we have made a move that upgraded our team. Isn't that what the main idea too the Draft, Free agency, and Trades. -
I very pleased that the Bills Brass made the deal to pick the best playmaker in the draft. Great move!!!! that being said, I'm curious to know if we had the option of giving Cleveland our second round pick this year instead of our first round pick in 2015. The NFL Draft Trade Valuation Chart show the # 4 pick to be worth the #9 + #41 + small change. Hopefully someone in the press will ask the question and the Bills Brass will not feel threatened to give the honest answer.

Marrone should have released him in Toronto.

I'd like to know your opinion on narrowing the goal posts by 2 feet.

If your were the Bills GM on Draft Day and Johnny Manziel is available, what would you do?

Been having this debate with a Jets fan. We both agree that it might be a few years before either team makes the playoffs. But I believe we are a little better than the Jets.

Do you consider our WR"s to be in the top 1/4, above top 1/2, bellow 1/2, or bottom 1/4 of all teams in the NFL?

What am I missing? Would you not have the player you feel gives you the best chance to win as your back up and not on the Taxi Squad.
