Another Great pick . Bills are killing the Draft.
-
I had Rosen rated 5th in this drafts QB class because of concussion issues. Should he sustain two more concussion, I believe his father, an MD, will convince Josh to forgo his NFL career in favor of his mental health. That being said, I felt Allen was the best NFL QB in the group, and am very happy Beane/McDermott chose Allen. The Bills got the best QB in this year's class. Bills Fans go celebrate.
-
With a history of at least two concussions and an MD for a father, I don't see Josh lasting more than two more concussions in the NFL.

I would have to believe Rosen is two concussions away from retirement. His father, an MD, would certainly advise him not to jeopardize his future mental health and continue to play in the NFL. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see him playing a decade and extracting some kind of revenge on teams that past him up, as he said.

All I hear about all year is how Mayock is the most accurate mock drafter, how he's an actual scout and you respect his opinion ....
Josh Allen #9 overall player
Tremaine Edmunds #11 overall player
Josh Rosen #21 overall player
Baker Mayfield #22 overall player
Lamer Jackson #23 overall player
So, if you truly believe that you know more than Mike Mayock, then you have the right to bash this franchise and cry about how Allen sucks because he had bad college stats. Be honest though ... you didn't watch any "film" ... you read his accuracy % and watched his YouTube highlights. You don't actually know.
Now lets all move on and root for our guys, please.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All we know is that Beane and McDermott had Allen rated higher than Rosen. I agree with that assessment and hope Allen leads the Bills too many championships. Some people on this site need to get a grip.

I'm thinking that the Bills, based on the Draft Trade Value Charts, will appear to grossly overpay to move up and select a QB. Thus having the Draft Pundits of the world criticising their decision. This will certainly put a damper on the remainder of the Draft, but probably has to be done in order to get out of QB purgatory.
-
I would believe that Beane has made Draft Day trade arrangements with all the top 8 teams in the Draft. Should the player Beane wants and the particular team is willing to make the trade, the trigger will be pulled. I would also believe Arizona, New England, and Miami have probably made the same arrangements.

I haven't seen any reference to a Draft Party for Bills Season Ticket Holders at New Era Stadium on Draft Saturday.
-
I doubt the Bills draft Jackson. He was not invited to One Bills Drive. The shun seems to indicates that Beane and McDermott have no interest in Jackson.
-
I would think it's to the Bills advantage to play at home, outdoors, late in the season.

Any team that wants Mayfield will need to get to #1 or #2 in the Draft. Otherwise, he's a member of "GANG GREEN".
-
Perhaps we should send this class to Dallas.
-
His rankings suggest our best draft strategy is to stay at 12 and take Jackson.
-
I like Rosen, but don't see him fitting in Buffalo. If we draft him, I don't think he stays.
-
I hope the Patriots trade with LA doesn't lead to Beane feeling an undue pressure that ends with a move he would not have done prior to the Pat's/LA trade. Certainly, Beane has to deal with a changing draft environment. But unless the QB that he and McDermott covet over all the others is available, I would hope he makes moves to strengthen other areas of need.

When we hold on to our draft picks and one of the top QB"s falls to us, that includes Lamar Jackson.
-
Darnold- Solid Starter
Rosen- Solid Starter but shorten career
Allen- Journeymen Backup
Mayfield- Face of Franchise
Jackson-Solid Starter
Rudolph- Journeymen Backup
-
Take Lamar Jackson at 12.
-
I believe there has been a lot of unfair assessment regarding Peterman abilities. Most of it, as usual, comes from self-proclaimed experts of NFL QB prognostication. Perhaps McDermott is right in believing in Peterman. However, I don't know if there's the patience to find out.
-
Buffalo could luck-out and have Jackson fall to them at 12. However, I think they will need to move up to get him. Both Arizona, LA Chargers, and Miami could be very interested in jumping Buffalo to pick Jackson.
-
If the NYG do not draft a QB, the Buc's hold the key to the last of the top 4 rated QB's. Should the QB the Bills covet still be available, they probably will be competing with Arizona and Miami for Tampa's draft slot. I would not be surprised if Lamar Jackson get's selected with this pick.

Pure nonsense. They just stuck out. It happens sometimes.

Moore was and still is a fallback play, I strongly doubt he was the primary bridge QB wanted by McDermott. As things are playing out so far, he, Peterman, Webb or our new, unknown, franchise QB are the most likely QB's to be starting for the Bills this season.

Allen is the best NFL QB in this years class. If Beane and McDermott can build a team around him, he will lead the Bills to multiple championships.
