  1. Based on the first two games of this season, I would think it's safe to say our chances of making the playoffs are not very good. I think the odds of a team starting the season 0-2  making the playoffs is 11%. However all may not be lost, this season could be a major step in preventing 0-2 starts for a long time. That step is the development of Josh Allen into a quality Franchise QB. Allen has all the natural gifts to become that QB. However, the one thing he appears to be lacking is a quality veteran QB as a mentor. I say "quality" because there are many veteran QB's that may not have the desired habits or techniques. I would like to see the Bills hire a veteran QB, perhaps  Brett Farve, to help mentor Allen through this season.

  2. We watched the game on an 85" Sony TV with Football Mode. Had Wings, fries, celery, carrots, and corn on the cob. Our group's ages were 72, 72, 48, 41, 13. Did not wait for Drinks or to use the bathroom. Did not have to pay $500 to have the opportunity to wait 40 minutes to be searched and scrutinized. Did not have to deal with any rude security people or request help from local law enforcement. We all have choices.

  3. The only positive that I can see coming out of this season is for Allen to stay healthy and develop into a quality Franchise QB. Being realistic, other than Jerry Hughes and McCoy there isn't another player on this roster that could start for another team in the NFL. And when Allen is ready, say the 2020 season, I don't think there will be more than four current members of this roster still on the team. For all us Bills fans, I hope Beane is up to the challenge to build a winning roster, and luck is on his side.

    You're joking?

McD's inane belief in Peterman is the only reason Peterman even has an NFL career.

    He blows.

Peterman had a high enough rating coming out of Pittsburg that warranted a reasonable probability he would be drafted. So to say it was McD insane belief he ever had an NFL career is inaccurate.

I have read a lot of ridiculous crap on this board through the years, but these Peterman threads are actually disturbing.

Maybe he has some charismatic hold over some people, like it appears he has on McD. He's like Rasputin!

Is saying that Peterman is McD's Rasputin one of the ridiculous crap posts you were referring to?

  5. As much as I like McDermott as our head coach, he has crushed Petermans NFL career. Perterman may never have had the talent to be a starting QB. But I felt he had the ability to be a good back up. Playing Peterman in San Diego last year, way before he was ready to play, resulted in Peterman obtaining a negative stigma for interceptions. His poor performance in Baltimore may have been Peterman's pink slip out of the NFL.

  6. Do NFL teams, or for that matter, professional franchises have personnel on staff or retainer to help these young adults handle all the negativity when they don't win? I would venture a guess that the Bills roster is going to get inundated on an hourly basis with negative comments from national media and social media from now until the start of the next training camps.

The grade is based on what they have done so far....not the fact that they bought both teams...Sabres have been the worst team in hockey since they took over

I would say buying the Sabres and keeping it in Buffalo is the most important thing they have done so far if I'm a Buffalonian. Yes, I understand the Sabres are not winning now. But for Buffalo Fans, I think they would take a losing Sabre Season over a NO Sabre season.
