Hacket is definitely better, but it was us suffering through his early years when he sucked. Marrone stuck with him, when the Bills brass wanted him out. We'll never know how it would have turned out, but at least we have some competency back. Life as a Bills fan was horrible with Rex around. What a blowhard jackass those Ryan brother were. They set us back three years

Pats can't win on merit. The refs will make a bunch of momentum changing calls as usual, hoping to derail Jags drives or prolong Pats drives. Then there is the one call that really helps the Pats and leads to points directly before the half or early third quarter. If the Pats take advantage, then it leads to a 2 score lead and eventually the Pats win. If they don't and the opposing team is in position to tie it or go ahead, then there is usually a holding call or some other momentum killer that gives the Pats the ball back. This is where the will of the opposing team usually breaks and the Pats march down the field with the aid of a PI, defensive holding or roughing the passer call. A crucial 3rd down is converted with the aid of this penalty and Brady marches it in. If for any reason the opposing team comes back again and somehow makes it close, then we get the crucial OMG WTF was that call that seals a Pats victory. It is so scripted, watching every Pats game is the same. An opposing team really has to totally outplay the Pats and the refs to win. I put the betting line at +10 (points affected by adding to Pats or subtracting from opponents) for each game. So you have to beat them by 2+ scores to win.

Thoughts on Calvin Ridley in the 1st?

Add Dawkins, Wood, maybe Benjamin (based on career, not injury) -
This does present a lot of options for our front office and they can play it smart based on what becomes available and the cost to get what they covet. TT took a bashing this year and we all know he is not elite, but the offense had success with basically the same personnel (outside of WR) When looking to draft a QB, it will be interesting to see who Daboll is pining for. If he really likes LaMar Jackson and feels they can ramp up the run game with a mobile QB, then TT may stay. If McD and Daboll love Mayfield and are going to move to get him, then perhaps McCown becomes a bridge. A low cost gamble on Bradford or Bridgewater may even come into play. If they think Rudolph is their guy, and don't have to move up, Smith may become the bridge and losing a 3rd/5th is worth the gamble or even McCarron, especially if he wins his FA status. I do feel that we will try to establish 2-3 QB's who have the same skillset, so the offense is more plug and play if someone gets hurt. I'd love to be in the film room as Daboll evaluates TT and sees if he can fix all his shortcoming and build an offense around him and what else they are thinking. We will know soon enough, but it seems we are heading in the right direction and I trust our FO more than I have in a long, long time. GO BILLS!!! He's a Red Raider. You go to SF and it would be a dream to come home and lead the Bills back to dominance. He goes to NE to replace McDaniels, he has a few years with Brady who will basically run the O and then he's in a not so enviable position to make sure the next QB really is the next Brady and he does not have Jimmy G to fall on. Lots of pressure up there.

Daboll's preferred offense and QB.

Thank you for posting this. I get it. Going through 10 pages of a thread to see if someone posted any new information on a point is kind of a pain. Unless of course its a 100 page thread on the Dunkirk Don- Chad insider info spectacle. -
The Teddy Bridgewater Thread

Personally, I'd rather be behind her. -
Do you think any team is going to pay Bridgewater starters money after that injury? Which one? Wherever he goes, Teddy is not getting more than 8-10m? I think he gets a 1-2yr prove your healthy and can play deal. I wouldn't mind if the Bills could pry him away, but I think the Vikes make an offer and he sticks around, gets healthy and eventually takes the job back from Keenum.

The moral of the Vikings win.

Na, that throw was a bit high, but still good. Diggs went up for it and would have got crushed if Tre White was back there. DB whiffed and Diggs ran for glory. Great play by Diggs to keep his balance and make the play. I credit Keenum for taking the shot. TT would have danced around and never pulled the trigger. Keenum needs to improve and be consistent for a few more years before anyone anoints him as a franchise qb. -

that's all on the dumbass DB who failed to make the hit. Nothing special about the throw other than it might have put them in a long desperation FG. Diggs was even shocked when he caught it. -
After today, the Vikings will not let Keenum go. They will keep Teddy as a backup. He gets time to heal up and prove he can be a future guy. Bradford gets a new team. He's a bit fragile for the Bills to put money into, but I wonder what Daboll thinks about him. I'd take a flyer if the price is right and draft Mayfield. The other option would be to trade for Smith, but I would not give up anything more than a 3rd and still draft Mayfield provided he falls to 21.

Todd Haley for Offensive Coordinator?

Dennison in Pitt would be #22 in passing #8 in rushing. Total Offense rank. #20. He stepped it up and beat his Buffalo ranking. Stats: Big Ben. 3200 yds passing 18 TD's 12 INT Antonio. 64 Rec for 904 yds and 6 TD Bell. 1132 yds rushing. 453 yds Rec. 8 TD Steelers go 9-7 miss playoffs then FIRE Rico -

For the 24th consecutive season...

Me too, but it's the OC not the coach. Sarkesian sucks and has ruined many a team. They need to fire his ass. -
Turn NE Games Off
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to BillsShredder83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
BINGO!!! That was the last straw. WTF. I watched the end of the drive and then turned it off. I think it's 4 outright criminal wins Jets - No TD call that would have won it. Steelers- No TD Bills KB Chargers Probably another 3-4 aided by bad calls at bad times to give the Pats momentum or take it from the opponent. -
I can not stand to watch the Pats. I tried for a few minutes, but after watching a neutral zone infraction on 4th and 5 to give the Pats a first down instead of punting, I knew how this goes down. Pats take advantage and score on the drive and put the game away at the half. #Disgusting. I probably am done watching other than NFC games. Watching the Pats is just too damn irritating and I hate feeling mad.

Winner winner. Chicken dinner. I hated the Rex hire and Schwartz exodus. We were on the brink then. Hopefully, we will stay competitive for awhile. I'm proud of what McD and Beane did with the team this year and trust they will keep moving in the right direction.

The Right Off Season Plan
1st Ammendment NoMas replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am honestly ok with Alex Smith and whoever falls, unless they are ready to break the bank for their guy. If indeed, Rosen or Mayfield is the next Jim Kelly, you pull the trigger and fill other holes with that available cap space. If they think Rudolph, Allen or Jackson is the man, they have to feel out if they drop to 21 or make the move to get their guy. But trading up has failed the last 2 times and the McBean Dream team will fail if they take the wrong QB. Then it's one of the Viking castoffs or Tyrod for another year. After this year, I finally feel I can trust the front office and that they will make the best decision for the team moving forward. Should be a good offseason.
