  1. AJ looks good in those videos. Strong arm, quick release, gets the ball downfield to the right place quick. I'd like to see more to see how he reacts to pressure and how he reads the field when a play breaks down, but overall he looks like the real deal.
  2. Another reason why we needed to clean out the front office. Whaley underproduced with the draft.
  3. "Some fortune teller told me you'd be wearing my jersey next year. I say "Yo B, if dat happen, you may as well bury me in a Browns jersey."
  4. I think Jets want the Baker. .The best I can see us doing is staying ahead of Arizona and MIA. CLE, NYJ, DEN and possibly NYG go QB ahead of us and we are not sneaking past them. By some miracle, DEN or NYG go other than QB, we may have a shot at Allen or Rosen if we trade up to 6-10. MIA and AZ also want QB's early so it's going to be a dogfight.
  5. offseason boredom has set the bar of futility to new heights
  6. talk about hit or miss. owwwww! some of these drafts really screwed us and some yielded gold. Let's hope for gold this time.
  7. from your lips to God's ears on this mock This scenario is a dream, but a nice one.
  8. I wouldn't give it all up for Rosen. Not with his concussion history. For Darnold yes. My hope is we get the Baker.
  9. I wouldn't hate this draft. I'd love it
  10. I posted this in another thread, but said basically the same thing when everyone was ranting the Jets would get a HOF and we'd get as POS.
  11. News Flash: The Eagles won the Super Bowl with their backup QB and journeyman Foles. The final 4 playoff teams had Keenum (UDFA) , Bortles (1st Rd.) Foles (3rd Rd) and Brady (6th Rd) . Only one of was a top 5 pick and he's not the one most of us would want.
  12. did you smoke crack today or are you just looking for attention
  13. I'd like to make that kind of next to nothing.
  14. He's fine, just visited Arizona.
  15. This is about how when you have 5 or 6 QB's slated to be round one picks (it hasn't happened since '83) that the best ones don't fall in the order taken. The one picked 6th isn't necessarily the 6th best QB as Marino proved. And that hasn't changed since '83. I was responding to the post about getting the 4th or 5th pick of QB's doesn't mean he can't be the franchise. This has been proven time and time again.
  16. The Baker will be the 3rd QB off the board. We will have to jump the Broncs if we want him or it may be the reverse and Allen is the QB Elway wants. One may be there at 12 if the Cards don't play hopscotch. Unless they feel that Bradford can stay healthy and Glennon is a solid #2, the Cards may want the future franchise now.
  17. one more #2, leave Zay in the slot. I was hoping Matthews would stay.
  18. This should be the guide. Jimbo was the 3rd QB (#14) off the board. Marino 6th (#27) If you identify your guy get him, but don't trade the farm for Eason, Blackledge or Ken O'Brien. Chances are 3 of the 5 or 6 to go this year in round one will not be franchise quarterbacks. Be patient, be sure. I'd love to have a Jimbo repeat for the next 10 years.
  19. Brown just doesn't matter to me.
  20. The truth is that if Cleveland drafts Barkley, they are going to be difficult to defend. Tyrod has his limitations but he sure can run, and last year he was held back by Dummison. With Barkley and Tyrod, Landry as the possession receiver who get separation and Gordon as the deep threat. They will score points. If somehow they lure Barnidge back or Njoku steps up. Then you have Crowell as a change of pace and Duke Johnson as the RB receiver outlet. Watch out for the Brownies.
  21. That's a loss ass post, but the reasoning is close. I'd love it. This depends on how Reich feels about Luck. He'd have to sell the GM and Owner that they need to rebuild and will do it with pick #3 plus the bounty they get for Luck. It's not impossible, but stranger things have happened. Buffalo could use some good Luck. I'm excited to see how the FO plan pans out.
  22. agreed on all counts. very good analysis. I think that is why they are looking at Foles. At least I hope so. Then it may be a flyer on White or Lauletta.
