  1. we shall see doubting Thomas. we all shall see.
  2. Yeah and it seems the Ravens are loading up on WR and RB too. That boring offense is going to morph soon.
  3. Ito Smith is a shady clone and still out there too.
  4. Ito Smith in the 4th or 5th. Very shifty, very Shady-like. I'd take him in the 4th, since there aren't many backs left.
  5. When I hear his name called I had the typical "wtf" moment, but this kid is growing on me. And the more I hear Rosen popping off his chops, the happier I get that we took Allen. I think he may have the ability to surpass Darnold and Mayfield. That's a big if, but he seems like the type of kid who is going to mature into a leader and keep his head intact. Darnold's loose ball tendencies in the NY winter may Sanchise him. Mayfield may still be the best, but he seems like a kid who's one tick away from exploding and doing something bad off field that will drag down the clubhouse. Rosen is in a good situation in AZ. Perhaps better than Buff, where he can learn from Palmer and recover from the head injuries. The dark horse is Rudolph. Pitt always has good teams and sitting behind Ben will get him ready to shine. Bottom line is that I think each team got the QB best suited for their environment. Next up, Lauletta, White or Woodside in NE. My bet is Lauletta in the 4th. 3 years from now he is Tom 1.5, not a full clone, but close enough to keep NE competitive.
  6. the more I see the more I like. This kid is growing on me. It also makes you see how cousins was worth 96mil. The more I watch these I wish we had the cap and ability to bring in Cousins. Damn is he the real deal.
  7. I can't believe no one took a shot at Hurst yet, He was considered top 10.
  8. Jordan Palmer... and some kids in Connecticut and Josh's grandma. and now me.
  9. he strikes me as a kid who loves to put the work in. that's important
  10. Rosen fell over injury concerns. Nobody wants to bank a franchise on another Bradford. There is a saying around the league that guys who are injured stay injured. It's a trend with them. They never seem to buck it. Maybe they stay healthy in spurts (2-3 years tops) and maybe that's what a team wants, a spurt of greatness to make a run with their present roster. But I think the feeling is that the Bills wanted a long-term solution and stability under center. Develop the guy with the highest ceiling (everyone agrees that's Allen) and least amount of off field problems (once again-Allen) He was actually 4 on my list and I was angry when I heard his name called, but a few of my friends on the West Coast texted to congratulate us on a great pick. Those who saw Allen said he's going to be Big Ben for us. I hope they are right.
  11. local OSU boy too so that also helps.
  12. trade up is probably for Allen or Rudolph unfortunately. Baker 1, Darnold 2, Rosen 3. I can't see the Giants pass on Darnold.
  13. none of this would ever be in the works if we traded with Watson and Watts didn't get hurt. Damn I wish we would have traded with Houston not KC
  14. I want the Baker. Might like Rudolph over Allen, but I haven't seen enough tape. I actually (for the first time in a long time) trust the Bills FO to make the right decision and get their guy. Jackson doesn't seem to fit the mold as much, but he's got some upside. I've never gotten the fuss over Darnold. I lived in LA and my friends are USC fanatics and they don't gush over him. Not many USC or UCLA QB's have lit up the NFL in the last few decades. The dark horses, Lauletta, White, Ferguson.
  15. Yes, I forgot about Hogboy and also anything posted by "ICE." ICE was the original Dunkirk Don and cracked me up with his "Insider Knowledge" of everything in life. The hilarity came from the boards responses to his insanity, which eventually drove him away. Unless of course ICE is the Don and the Dan and the man who never left?
  16. "Where would you rather be, than right here, right now!" --- my personal favorite, probably because it came with a winning tradition.
  17. makes sense, I think that's accurate, the question is how do the Bills buy in and at what price?
  18. yup different scheme. he fits in the 3-4 and we run a 4-3 with an MLB that can cover. Since we don't have anyone at that position yet, this kind of hurts. It would have been nice to get a 2nd for him. We'll see who they pick and how it all adds up soon.
